It was midnight, and the PM had been rudely awakened by his senior military advisors. He was slightly shocked by it all. He went into the nuclear bunker below downing street.
SOSD- "Prime Minister, I am sorry to have gotten you up at this awful hour but I would not have done so without reason"
General Ross- " You must order that all ships leave their ports and into the open sea and instruct that operation Willow be put into place"
PM- "Are things suddenly that bad"
SOSD- "Yes sir,"
PM- "Very well"
The Prime Minister signed the necessary documents.
As the documents were sent to the necessary units to prepare the defence of Davishire was put into place. All submarines that were not already deployed moved out to sea, and the SSGNs were bought onto 10 minutes readiness to fire. The conventional ICBM fleet and cruise missiles were ready to fire.
Several hundred fighter aircraft were ready to fly armed to the teeth at 3 minutes notice and the army moved away from its bases in secrecy to defend the land and major cities.
SOSD- "Prime Minister, would you permit the deployment of sceptor?"
PM- "The laser missile defence system"
SOSD- "Yes Prime Minsiter"
PM- "IS it ready"
SOSD- "We can have it deployed to key military bases and over London."
PM- "Then do so, and put the missile defence systems on highest possible alert"
SOSD- "Yes Prime Minister"
PM- "I also want the cabinet bought to the little kimble bunker first thing"
SOSD- "Yes, Prime Minister. I have also warned the island of Bucks to expect an attack"
PM- "I want this readiness to be as discreet as possible. With as few movements as is necessary. Keep the surface fleet in port and only one squadron of fighters in the air"
SOSD- "Yes, Prime Minister"
PM- "By the way, what is expected?"
SOSD- "I don't know Prime Minister, I simply do not know"
PM- "Very well, if anything else happens wake me. I need to finish my sleep. I shall be upstairs"
The squadron commander, Captain John Codd had heard the instruction from the Inimican vessel, however he ignored the instructions.
"Pilot continue on course"
The ships continued to move toward the shipping lane for the Atlantic, they were already at full speed.
At this point a whole squadron of Tornado Fighter Bomber Aircraft flew overhead, slowly as a show of force. The Tornadoes flew overhead the Davishirian Squadron before banking, climbing and flying over the Inimican vessels. After the aircraft had cleared the Inimican vessels they each fired off two countermeasure flares.
Meanwhile, beneath the surface over 100 submarines were ready in necessary to react, if the Inimicans fired one shot then the ships were ready to respond. Although only the Prime Minister could authorise the use of lethal force he was at the other end of a phone.
The aircraft maintained a safe distance from the fleet, but they were still visible and able to respond to any threat. Behind the squadron of destroyers followed a light aircraft carrier, 4 frigates and a cruiser. They were 2 miles behind the destroyers on the same course.
General Reid signed into Valkyrie and was presented with a massive map showing the real time GPS locations of every unit in the Duxburian military. Zooming in automatically expanded groups out into their individual components and zooming out consolidated them again. He could choose to deal with whole grand armies, or individual soldiers if he wanted to. The power and flexibility was mind-blowing.
He picked an individual soldier at random and drew a line on the screen indicating that he should walk 10 feet to the left. The order was automatically generated and sent to an officer nearby. Reid only had to wait 28 seconds before he saw the GPS dot move 10ft to the left. Reid now drew an arrow back.
"Ahem." The Steward wanted Reid to stay on target.
Reid scowled like an assault dog that had just been yanked back on his leash.
He turned his attention to the Duxburian navy. His first move was to instruct all fleets to load up their amphibious assault ships. That would take the most time, so it had to be done early. Next, deploying the Mortec submarine fleet to the Strait of Mortec, pretty much right in front of their home port. The air base complex at Mortec was on standby in case of the need for air support.
He moved for Fleets 3, 4, and 5 to head to a new position in the open Atlantic near the opening of the Red Sea to ensure that it couldn't be blocked against his country. Fleet 7 was in Chirez, he deployed it in defense and instructed the Suez fleet to join it via the Chirez Canal. Fleets 8 and 9 should remain in defense positions along the Suez coast.
Now to actually probe Inimicus?Fleets 1, 2, and 6 to a position 12 miles offshore of Inimicus, with additional air cover from the Alverian Naval Air Station. The deployment would feature 60 Burke class DDGs, 7 Ticonderoga class cruisers, and 40 Ohio class converted SSGNs, defended by 36 SSKs, 60 SSNs, 5 Supercarriers, and 2 helicarriers. With Burkes carrying 90 missiles each, Ticonderogas 120 missiles, and converted Ohios a whopping 154, Reid had a launch potential of 12,760 cruise missiles.
This was the most destructive assemblage of firepower to ever deploy from Duxburian shores, and it was his to command and control! Reid was absolutely ecstatic. THE POWER? how was he going to give this up at the end of the mission?
There was still Dromund Kaas, too. Reid zoomed into western DK and selected the Duxburian 7th Army to pivot around and deploy at the Inimican-Kaasian border. The 8th Army would be in support. Air cover would be provided by the DK western division.
Satisfied with his moves, Reid relinquished control, but couldn't help thinking that the Steward was useless and that he should always be in control. The rest of the room was useless too, they were just a bunch of talking heads. Yadda yadda yadda, all medal, no metal.
With Valkyrie's automatic transcription and automatic transmission of the orders, those guys didn't even need to be here, sitting in a huge square around the command system.
Reid waited impatiently as nothing really happened. There would be no instant gratification with these moves. He really hoped for a confrontation, though. 40 SSGNs in a firing line would be a horrible thing to waste.
"You've aware you've now got Poretisian Supplies and Medics, so whilst you set up the first one our medics can help with the flying of those critically injured, as we brought more than is necesary for the flights, and then we can set up an expansion?"
_With that the Wing Commander returned _
"The deed is done"
"That was a close call." said General Asgeir as he looked through a window down at the Davishirian plane leaving the airfield. The belgian masses flowed over the airfield, clawing at the supplies which were left on the airfield. Fights broke out, but at that moment the view was blocked by a cloud. "We have done what we could, but we can not help the people from the ground anymore. Let's head home."
In the middle of the trench building, general vanden borre decided to move his troops to the bordertown of leige. which was most likely on the path of a bulgarian land invasion. if the Belgains could lead them into the town, they could problably hold the bulgarians there for weeks on end. the whole war could be decided there. Only now there was a cease fire in effect so they used their time to make road blocks, machine gun nest, snipers and artillery placed here and there on strategic locations
Now they waited until the cease fire was over and the war continued or the end of the war

For the 200th time, it seemed, the phone rang. "What now", the Brigadier-General answered.
"Alistair?", a strangely familiar voice said, one which sent shivers down Lethbridge-Stewart's spine. He quickly corrected himself, sat up straight, and said "Your Majesty? I was not expecting you!"
Emperor Artabanos meant business: "let's just do away with the formalities right now, Alistair. I have one order, and one order only, for now: stop missile strikes and bombing runs until further notice."
"Okay, but forgive me for asking why"
"SuCal's in town. However bad a Commissioner for Defence and PEACEKEEPING might be, we don't want to blow her to smithereens. Also, with the entire ECoJ-thingy, it's best not to blow away all the evidence."
"Then what are we going to do about the murdering?"
"I'm giving you permission to fly in some teams of special forces. Also, the Imperial Secret Service has been active in the country for quite some days now. Anyway, speak to you later."
As fast as his legs could carry him, the Brigadier-General rushed to deliver the new orders to his aides.
((OOC- ALL ACTIONS HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY BULGARIA. ALSO NOTE HE HAS AIR DEFENCES))
[IC Secret to all except Inimicus, Actions are for obvious reasons visible]
Location- Sandford, Davishire
It was around 18:00 hours GMT in Sandford and the Prime Minister was back in the war room. This time there was nobody except the military representatives. The commander of the air force spoke to the Prime Minister,
"we currently have 2 flights of 3 Victors in the air short of the Bulgarian border. We are requesting permission to conduct war operations with them"
"What operations do you have planned?"
"We shall be attacking a newly built Dam in the north of the country, near to the Danube with 3 victors. We are also planning to launch an attack with 3 on a mine in the mountains in the south of the country"
"Marshall, if I authorise this. What will it achieve. This will continue to escalate the situation"
"Prime Minister, the dam provides electricity we believe for much of the population in the north. The mine provides the country with resources."
"Well I was going to authorise it anyway. Very well go ahead"
With that an aide went to the telephone and issued the necessary orders.
"Sir, the aircraft will reach the dam in 15 minutes, the mine in about 30."
For RP reasons time will now pass by 45 minutes
The Prime Minister had returned. He had just been having dinner when an update came through. It was read by the representative of the army. Major Meads.
"Prime Minister, we can confirm that 2 of the bombers which attacked the mine has been badly damaged by ground fire with 2 crew on each injured although this is not of a major concern because nobody is dead from our side."
The Prime Minister was tense,
"What about the primary targets Major. The primary targets"
"Initial reports sir suggest the targets were hit."
"That is all I wanted to hear major, have the aircraft return to base. Ensure that the Fighter Reaction Alert is at full war readiness. Contact Poland about the rescue. Also give the crew a medal for something"
