Inimician Military News
Minister for Defence and Nuclear Development Basil Lawson has announced a partial mobilisation of the Inimician Military. This means recruiting is drastically increased and a part of the compulsory military force is called into action. It is rumoured this measure is taken because of the increasinly inflammatory situation in the Western Sahara, which Inquista promptly invaded at the beginning of this week. Inimicus is one of the nations which have pledged to support the Commission's position in the conflict, among Halsberg, Great Britain, Davishire and Groot-Belgi?. Inimicus still has the passive compulsory military service, which means all men above the age of 16 can be called to serve in the armed forces whenever the government deems this necesarry.
"...We have decided to call in a part of the mobilisation force for indefinite time. I apologise for the wives and children who will have to deal without their husbands and fathers, but we are dealing with a situation hitherto unkown to the Empire of Inimicus...", the Minister said this morning in an official press release.
Rapid Response Anti-Aircraft Control Center

"Raclir, you'd better take a look at this."
Adam Kelair, the Raclir for 4 Druxmund A, ran to the control room. Whenever someone uttered those words, it was never good news.
"What is the situation?"
The closest radar operator pointed to his screen.
"Sir, we've just detected an unknown radar signature entering our airspace, flying on a restricted line of travel. This, (pointing at the screen) is its current position."
Kelair wasn't aware of anything being cleared for his territory at this time.
"Where's the nearest VM?" he asked, pointing at the VM operator.
"4 miles from the target's present position, sir."
Kelair couldn't wait to shake the hand of the person who had thought up the VM. It was such an effective, yet simple way of determining the physical identity of an unknown flying object, bypassing electronic countermeasures and not harming the object.
"VM is armed. Calculating area of effect. Calculating line. Line set. Line locked."
"Prepare to engage."
A few tense minutes passed before the data feed came back.
"Unknown object is identified as a helicopter, military grade, unable to determine class or operator."
"It couldn't be ours. Coalition forces wouldn't enter uncleared on a restricted LoT."
Kelair turned to the emergency communications operator.
"Request a transmission on Line 1, I want to be absolutely sure on this. The computer will tell you what to input."
He started typing, ! |$:|
Next, Kelair called a gunner.
"Arm SAM 25."
A response came back on the screen, ! |!|. Lamington was ready to receive the transmission.
"SAM initiation sequence." The gunner started priming a surface-to-air missile.
Transmissions to Fort Lamington had to be typed carefully, for errors could not be corrected.

"SAM 25 is armed."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU LOST HIM?" bellowed an irate General Kaas.
Captain Needa trembled as he tried to explain the disappearance of Brandon Devoy to the 2nd highest official in Dromund Kaas.
"General, everything went according to the plan until the elevator. When my fire team inspected the bodies, there were only 4, not the 5 we watched enter the premises. While no pictures exist of Brandon Devoy, we know that he strongly resembles his brother, Acwellan Devoy. None of these dead men bore the slightest resemblance to the Duxburian Councillor."
"But there is at least one hardened security camera in every room! How could you not track him from the fire control room?" the General asked.
"I do not know how to tell you this, general, but...several of the tapes appear to be...missing."
"The footage where Devoy enters the building, walks down to the fire control room, and "works" on equipment, was nowhere to be found when we visited Security. Every other tape showing the entire rest of the facility at that exact moment was accounted for. But, anything showing the DIO team was either missing or blank. Devoy has literally vanished."
"ARE YOU SAYING THAT WE CAN'T EVEN OUT THIS GUY'S EXISTENCE BECAUSE ALL THE PROOF IS NOW GONE?"
Furious, General Kaas quickly stood up.
"I'll take it from here, General," a deep voice said.
A tall figure wrapped in a black cloak emerged from the shadows.
"The Gu gu gu grand Moff..." Captain Needa blurted out. His knees were wobbling.
"Clearly, this man is not entirely at fault for this failure. The Security room has a hidden camera that only *I* know about. Guards, round up everyone with access to the security room and I will show you who the perpetrator is.
I am sparing your life, Captain Needa. But, do not disappoint me again."
General Medina: "The drone wasn't ours"
Lieutenant General Aar?n Medina, the military officer in charge of the Northern Caesarean operations in the war against Dromund Kaas has declared that the drone supposedly brought down by the Laois-Offaly armed forces wasn't operated by the Army, the Navy or the Air Forces of that southern european nation.
"Neither the Popular Army nor the National Aviation or the War Navy is using drones in this theatre of operations, so I can be 100% sure that the drone hit by the Laois-Offaly defences was not ours".
About future operations, Medina said that the Northern Caesarean land units will be ready to participate soon in the military operations, with the support of the Navy and the air units in the two air carriers deployed in the eastern Red Sea. "The war is entering in a decisive phase and We are going to have an important participation. You must understand that I cannot tell you where and when..."
About the violences against humanitarian workers by both the populace and DK military, Medina said that "establishment of safe humanitarian corridors will be a priority in the first phases of the intervention".

Herr general, the Duxburians have begun the invasion of DK sir!
Allright, then we'll join them. Our 1750 PzH 2000 and 250 Flakpanzer Gepard will bombard dromundian forces at the border while our 150.000 paratroopers are dropped down behind their lines. Then our 7500 Leopard 2s will break the enemy lines and attack directly. We'll ask for aerial bombardment support with VF-15s before we drop our men behind the lines.

Admiral Pirarucu had just gotten done a meeting with General Palladino and other military officials from Rhine Ruhr. Rhine Ruhr had sent out an AWAC to act on some intelligence one of his subs had provided. If the sub was right the AWAC would find some enemy ships that could be eliminated through joint attack. It was important for the coalition to start gaining some more favorable position in the Caspian Sea to better oppose the Imperial oversector's forces.
"Get some of our ships on the move," ordered the Admiral to one of his men. The man promptly called into the attack group the Admiral had designated for this joint mission. He was almost certain this intel was good and he wanted to be ready to go when he got confirmation from the birds from The Ascension (RR Air Force).
Ships deployed heading in the general direction our previous intel provided:
1 Aircraft Carrier
4 SSN (general vicinity not necessarily moving with the surface ships)
2 SSGN (general vicinity not necessarily moving with the surface ships)

"Sir, General Palladino has just received word from the AWAC he sent out. They have the position of those enemy ships. Our boys were right about the positioning. The Dromund Kaas Navy has 1 Destroyer, 2 Frigates and 3 Corvettes at that location," one of the Admiral's top advisers informed him.
"Good. Get those exact coordinates to our boys out at sea. Let them know they can't engage until the Ascension runs their air strike first. We have to save some of the fun for our Rhinian friends ."

The attack squad of the Fleet of the Free People had moved into its ordered position. It appeared as though their movements had gone largely undetected by the DK ships. This was no surprise though due to the severe reduction in capabilities the DU hemp missile strikes left much of the DK military with.
Only 30 km away from the enemy, the ships waited anxiously for the signal from the Ascension bombers. Then a growing roar could be heard in the night. It must be the allied bombers come to get the party started.
The bombers from Rhine Ruhr started dropping their plaid jacket bombs on the Imperial Oversector's ships. The sound was deafening and unmistakable. That was the cue for the attack squad to begin their strike.
A pilot from one of the Ascension's bomber squad's called into the lead destroyer on the attack squad. "We have direct hits on most of the enemy ships. It appears we've fatally damaged 2 corvettes and a frigate. We had some hits on the enemy Destroyer but she shrugged them off."
Captain Thomas Albacore had command of the Eastern Free Fleet's attack squad. "Get our other 3 destroyers to fire off two harpoon missiles each at that enemy destroyer. I want it sunk."
The ships fired off the missiles and impact was confirmed by the bomber squads from Rhine Ruhr. Captain Albacore had 4 Corvettes, 4 Frigates and 2 Destroyers move out ahead from the squad to skirmish in close range with the enemy ships.
As they neared the enemy ships they fired off their artillery and the explosions rang out through the night. Albacore ordered the corvettes to focus their firepower on the remaining enemy corvette. Likewise he had 2 frigates and a destroyer fire off shells at the remaining enemy frigate. And the other 2 frigates and destroyer in his skirmish squad helped put more holes into the enemy destroyer.
During the attack some damage was sustained by the skirmishers but the objective was completed. The DK blockade had been breached and the Eastern Free Fleet now held vital position off the DK coast.
Albacore sent word into the command base in Remington. "General Palladino and Admiral Pirarucu. We've done it. We've taken the position and all hostile ships have been sunk."
"Captain what's the damage like for our own shps?" Pirarucu asked.
"Nothing major Admiral although 2 of our Corvettes and one of our Frigates are going to need some repairs."
"Ok, Captain. Bring the rest of the attack squad up to your position and send those damaged ships back to Glockport so we can get them patched up and back into action fast. Well done Captain, well done."
"We couldn't have done it without the help from the Rhinians. They really showed their strength out there tonight."
"Well that's why they're our allies. We'll be sure to coordinate more with them in the future. There is still a lot of work to be done," the Admiral said and then signed off.

Nobody would be getting any sleep tonight. Each soldier knew that they could breathe easy tonight, but this was little comfort against the noise being generated by covering aircraft and loudspeakers. Those goddamn loudspeakers had been looping the same message all day long and into the night. HQ said the message was for civilians on the Dromund Kaas side, warning them to get away from the border and to take cover if they could not. ZW-10s had been flying very close to the border, broadcasting the same message with amplifiers. Nobody could tell if it was working, as the huge fortifications on the DK side blocked out vision. Every now and then, an RPG round would be fired at one of the choppers, but so far no hits had been made. The enemy continued to hold its fire, expecting an imminent attack. Duxburian units were under strict orders to hold their own fire until DK Day.
The roar of aircraft also drowned out the loudspeakers at times. Some 15 divisions had been moved to the area, all fighters and fighter-bombers. Evidently, top brass was expecting a real fight in the air. Several squadrons of enemy fighters had been observed earlier in the day, but both sides had been content to patrol their own airspace for the moment.
The big surprise of the night was an unannounced visit from Avoldran Dehn, dressed in a military uniform and sporting a rocket launcher. Troops in the division were quite impressed that the Aelir had come to the front to check on them. Instead of sitting comfortably in HQ further back, their commander-in-chief came right up to the fortifications, within range of enemy artillery and snipers, going down the lines and asking ordinary privates how they were faring. News of this visit spread down the lines rapidly and morale rose.
As darkness fell, the enemy side grew restless, fearing an attack under cover of darkness. Dehn was pleased to see Dromund Kaas unnerved and ordered a round of flares fired all across the line just to get them jumpy. The loudspeakers were then switched over from the civilian warning message to Duxburian death metal.
Morning broke and things were quiet?too quiet...
Unfortunately for you, everything I've fired not only exists in the Chinese arsenal, but does exactly what I've posted that they do. That, and Italian interceptors can't shoot high enough to do anything about it.
Not Godmodding. China has actually fired a tactical EMP at a US warship, in 2009, and has openly expressed intent to fire strategic ones at the US in the event of even a hint of war between the two countries.
You can't call everything metagaming just because you don't like the action taken. Everything I've done is within my power. I didn't even post the detonations, since it would be your turn to RP the results. Which, according to Aster 30 altitude range, is successful detonation.
