Press ReleaseLexington House. Montague, Strasbourg-.22 June, 2018
The Prime Minister, Xävier Bettel, today issued the following statement following the “Right to Try” Bill Signing:
"With the Right to Try law I’m signing today, patients with life-threatening illnesses will finally have access to experimental treatments that could improve or even cure their conditions. These are experimental treatments and products that have shown great promise, and we weren’t able to use them before. Now we can use them. And oftentimes they’re going to be very successful. It’s an excellent thing."
"The Right to Try also offers new hope for those who either don’t qualify for clinical trials or who have exhausted all available treatment options. There were no options, but now you have hope. You really have hope."
"Matthew Ugter, who is here with us, is just one example of many Montenbourgian who today has new cause for hope. Due to the late progression of Matt’s ALS, he doesn’t qualify for any clinical trials in the Kingdom. He wouldn’t qualify; couldn’t do it. They tried; he didn’t qualify. Now, with the passage of this bill, Montenbourgians will be able to seek cures right here at home, close to their family and their loved ones. We are finally giving these wonderful Montenbourgians the right to try. So important."
"Now, as I proudly sign — and this is very personal for me. But as I proudly sign this bill, thousands of terminally ill Montebourgians will finally have the help, the hope, and the fighting chance — and I think it’s going to be better than chance — that they will be cured, that they will be helped, that they’ll be able to be with their families for a long time or maybe just for a longer time. But we’re able to give them the absolute best, as to what we have at this current moment, at this current second. And now, we’re going to help a lot of people. We’re going to help a lot of people.
"So it’s an honor to be signing this. (The bill is signed.) (Applause.) So I want to thank — (laughter) — it’s going to be fantastic. Thank you all very much. This, to me, is very exciting. And you’re going to see some tremendous results. We’re going to have some incredible, incredible results. So thank you all for being here. And all of the people in the audience who have been so helpful, thank you very much. It’s going to be something very, very special. Thank you." (Applause.)
20 June 2018The Australian Government has been approached by the Government of Turkmenbaijan to work closely together. We would find nothing better than to work together with Turkmenbaijan, but the issue that is keeping us from doing any further cooperation is Kyrzbekistan and the unrest among the region. We will not change our border policy until the following issues are addressed:Full and meaningful devolution and semi-autonomy for the region to conduct its own affairs within the larger Turkmenbaijan. A cessation of hostility among the ethnic minority Kyrzbek people and the larger groups within Turkmenbaijan.European Union observers placed into the area to ensure this is being carried out.No other state actors interfere individually in the region in question from any single nation state. The development that Montenbourg has proposed peacekeeping missions is disturbing. For a nation that is so adamantly supportive of refugees and the end of conflict in Dromund Kaas to want to go into another nation and potentially create a second crisis, this one with no support at the European level backing it compared to the Coalition of the Willing entering Dromund Kaas to retrieve the stolen Premier Commissioner from her kidnapping, that is antithetical. What should instead take place is a conversation both with Turkmenbaijan and the immediate neighbouring country which is the Federal Republic of Australia. As we have not been consulted on such moves, we will oppose it by all legal means including the positioning of Australian Defence Force troops on the border. Any Montenbourg and other state military units seen travelling across Australian airspace or its maritime border without permission, treaty, or agreement will be subject to removal from Australian airspace and maritime border by any means necessary. The Federal Government of Australia will be willing to discuss these issues with both Montenbourg and Turkmenbaijan in depth and find a path to a solution that should satisfy all parties involved. The Hon. Richard Marles, MPForeign Minister for the Federal Republic of AustraliaThe Hon. Hillary Clinton, MPPrime Minister of the Federal Republic of Australia

To President Emir Constantini of Turkmenbaijan,
I would like to once again give my greatest assurances to you and your people that Inquista, its people, and Our Most Holy Church, continue to celebrate the friendship between our countries.
Inquistans are a diverse nation of people, and so we can empathize with the many issues facing Turkmenbaijan. As a country that also deeply appreciates and respects tradition, we can empathize with the slanderous remarks made against your government. Therefore, we find the words made by Bishop Karinn Lallana to be regrettable, and we would like it to be known that her opinions do not reflect the opinions of Inquista or Our Most Holy Church. I have called upon the bishops of Green Inquista to bring their party leader to order.
Your country shall always have a friend in me,
Archbishop of Inquista
09 April 2018His Majesty's Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain has announced that it will not be pursuing a free trade agreement with the Kingdom of Montenbourg at this time. While our meeting was productive and has laid the groundwork for a free trade agreement, it is clear that Montenbourg's behaviour in chastising nations is unbecoming of a country that is wishing to see itself as a major player in Europe. Had the United Kingdom acted in this manner towards Montenbourg, there would be an uproar among the European Council and members states of Europe. Montenbourg has accused every country in Europe of abuses against refugees, of being unkind towards migrants, and unsupportive of LGBTQI individuals. I would like to see Montenbourg, rather than telling European nations how to act and what to do, work on itself. It talks about a strong economy that is prosperous, yet it earns nearly half of the United Kingdom's workers, and its GDP per capita is nearly one third of that of the United Kingdom. It talks about income inequality among other European, but Britain has lifted millions out of poverty and as far as we can see, while some are still growing and improving, they are doing just that. Leadership is not just making statements with no grounds in reality, but rather leading by example. When the Kingdom of Montenbourg decides to lead by example, we will pursue the final steps towards a free trade agreement. The Rt. Hon. Theresa May, MPPrime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain
The Home Affairs Office of the Apostolic Crown would like to reiterate its position that the liberated parts of Dromund Kaas, controlled by Angleteric, Duxburian, or other Coalition of the Willing forces, are safe areas. Anyone who travels from Dromund Kaas to Angleter to claim asylum or refugee status here will, in normal circumstances, be deported to those liberated areas in accordance with Angleter's existing immigration policy. To further reiterate: the passage of the 'Refugee Protection Act' by the European Council, or the Apostolic Crown's compliance with that Act, does not increase the chances of Kaasian nationals successfully claiming asylum in Angleter, and rumours to the contrary are wholly unfounded. Be aware that the Apostolic Crown will protect the integrity of its borders. The Rt Hon Lynn MontagueMinister for Immigration
