The Arnhelm Treaty Passed
The Assembly of The United Federation has recently passed the Arnhelm Treaty on recruiting, seen in the region as a major step towards further foreign affairs growth. The treaty was passed comfortably, with 2 ayes and 1 abstain, but 0 nays. The move has been welcomed by many in the cabinet, including Chancellor Mikaelson and President Bryan, as well as Secretary of State Bill Dearheart, who proposed the treaty to the Assembly.
**Economy set to soon come online **
The Regional Assembly has recently passed the Treasury Act, seen by many as the first major step towards establishing a regional economy. The act has established the ability of the Chancellor to appoint a Secretary of the Treasury, a major move towards establishing the economy. However, it is undecided as to when to establish the economy, due to the large number of laws which will first need to be passed.
Contact with the FRA reestablished
Recently the TUF re-established contact with the Founderless Region Alliance, continuing the ear of cooperation that was temporary disrupted due to the TUF's inactivy criss. The Chancellor of the FRA Wopruthien personally came to the TUF to open a new embassy with us and wished us well in our efforts to revival. We in the State Department hope that the Chancellors words come through.
**Cabinet Reshuffle **
Chancellor Mikaelson recently announced that Blake Hanover will no longer execute the duties as Secretary of Justice for The United Federation. The Chancellor cited the Mr Hanover had been too inactive and called his departure from the cabinet " A step back",he shall be replaced by Charles Telsontair.Several days later Secretary of Interior Cameron Hanover announced that due to an unexpected turn in events in his RL,he can no longer maintain normal activity for sometime. Chancellor Mikaelson decided that an Acting Secretary for Interior is needed to cope with the mounting workload left behind by Mr Hanover. Till he finds a replacement the Chancellor will execute the duties of the Secretary of Interior. We wish Mr Hanover the best!
Chancellor seizes the WA delegate
On the 1th of February, residents of The United Federation awoke to find someone else holding the position of WA delegate instead of Kornwood. It later turned out that Chancellor Mikaelson had mustered enough endorsements to overthrow Kornwood.Chancellor Mikaelson decided that the inactive Kornwood would endanger the security of The United Federation and therefore took action to prevent such a scenario form ever happening.Since the takeover Chancellor Mikaelson has done some minor changes to the World Entry and has amassed enough endorsements to stay reasonably safe. When asked if he intended to stay long,Chancellor Mikaelson replied that his stay is just temporary until new procedures for selecting a WA delegate is drawn up.
