LULA NAMATATIKI, SPEAKER OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, WILL TEMPORARILY BE PRESIDENT UNTILL THE ELECTIONS
PORT BEAUHARNAIS - Mrs. Lula Namatatiki, untill today speaker of the National Assembly of Nofoaga, will observe presidential responsabilities untill the upcoming elections
Namatatiki can call herself president now after the resignation of Nikola N'nago yesterday evening. He delivered a speech, the first since the violent events after MG left the coalition, in which he stated that his position is now unable to bring the necessary serenity. This morning there was a vote in the Assembly with Namatatiki getting the support of all parties. Normally, it is up to the vice president to take on these duties. Because MG left the government, Locoux cannot take over N'nago's torch. Members of N'nago's party did not receive enough support to get elected.
