    PROLOGUE: Neomantua-Neomantua, 13km, ITT

The riders set off today on the Tour of Angleter with a short prologue around the medieval city of Neomantua, with Kyle Keys' time of 17:11, set very early on in proceedings, proving unbeatable- this despite valiant efforts from ONIC leader Hector Haedo and Dusseldorf Times rider Rien Gott, who'll wear the sprinters' green jersey tomorrow for his efforts. On the GC front, the clear winner today was Haedo, who came 3rd, while Kalezny and Kualtsky also performed well. Home favourite Leon Allinson could only manage a respectable 14th, while TUI's Sebastian Fuchs struggled and lies 2:13 back on the lead. Lanterne rouge this time is Corelicom climber Kosh Vashur, who crashed and thus lost 4 and a half minutes on Keys.

    STAGE ONE: Neomantua-Amar, 178km, Flat

A fairly routine flat stage started the Tour proper today, with four riders (Karoly, Ramin, Jawijandan, Juan) breaking away to try and take the first red mountain jersey. Chris Karoly eventually edged out Bursam Ramin to take the short climb, with Pere Colom leading the peloton over to clinch the last two points on offer. The breakaway was reeled in and dropped shortly before the end, where Irish rider Ardghal Magan took off in the last 200m to take a convincing win and the green jersey from Xantos Areli in second and Roberto Breppe behind him. All GC leaders and favourites were safely ensconced in the pack, with few victims of crashes or mechanicals.

STAGE THREE: Istv?nsf?herv?r-Wells, 190km, Med. Mt.

Today the breakaway consisted of seven riders (Ui Niall, Anhon, Gott, Matthews, Richter, Kamutak, Janer), but with 40km to go, with the leaders' group seemingly about to catch the break on the day's second climb, Ui Niall and Anhon- by far the best climbers in the group- attacked and rode as a duo for the rest of the race, with Anhon eventually beating Ui Niall in the final sprint on the final climb, the leaders coming in 46 seconds behind. In that group, Hector Haedo of ONIC was able to deny Ui Niall yellow by two seconds, but Ui Niall will be satisfied with his red jersey.

    ANNOUNCEMENT

After accusations from the People's Liberation Cycling Revolution team reported in yesterday's Tamil Telegram, the whole Royal Air Maroc team is to be rigorously tested after Stage Three, and the team shall be investigated in general today and into tomorrow.

    OOC: APOLOGIES

It seems I lost Stage Two's records by editing over them with Stage Three's. The Amar-Damaszka stage was a flat run won by Kaliiya Gomanyat from Miquel Janer and Ardghal Magan, who retained his green jersey. There were no changes on GC from stage one, the lower favourites from stage one moved up in position but not on time, and there were no mountain points on offer.

    STAGE FOUR: Wells-Suthton, 144km, Flat.

This flat and short stage after a testing hilly ride yesterday was a golden opportunity for potential breakaways today, and Andreas Richter seized the chance to take the 30 intermediate sprint points on offer, taking each and every one of them (and the 10 mountain points). In the break, he was joined by Inquista's Williams brothers, Mann of the Dusseldorf Times team, and Esteve Juan from Banca March. It was touch and go as to whether the breakaway would be caught for the last 15km, with contact finally being made with 1km, with Calat Energy's Lawrence Enlich taking the win from Fr. Magan's green jersey and Dusseldorf Times rider Guus Amello. Richter held on to take 14th, and has won today's combativity prize of 3000 Tamil Rupees.

STAGE FIVE: Suthton-Mt. George, 216km, Hi Mt.

Today began the high mountains, and today's break consisted of 19 riders of all sorts who wanted to go for glory. However, the group fractured as it was reeled in near the end, and only Kreik and van Bouwten could finish in the leaders' group of nine at the end, with the winner being Kligenberg Motors' Sean Bishop, followed closely by van Bouwten and Tour of Corelia winner Jonathan Stark. All jerseys are maintained, although there is considerable movement below in the yellow and red jersey competitions, with Bishop and Allinson taking up 2nd and 3rd places on GC, and Yalli Kreik going 3rd in the mountains classification.

STAGE SIX: Mt. George-Cherton, 180km, Hi Mt.

Another mountain stage today, albeit a lighter one. The early breakaway, complete with struggling team leaders Fuchs and Maloudia, took the first two climbs, before fracturing on the third and final climb before the 25km downhill finish to Cherton. It was on this climb that Brecon's Lars Petersen attacked out of the leading group of 30, eventually passing all breakaway riders and taking the victory in a solo downhill effort. The leaders came in 1:15 behind.

STAGE SEVEN: Birborough-Maien, 201km, Med. Mt.

Today's rolling ride through the hills saw the breakaway ride to success with a fairly large peloton coming in 2:24 down. The group of six riders always looked like one that could be successful, and it all came down to a sprint that was won by Fr. Ailin Chidefidlear, who continues the Irish Catholic Church Pro Cycling Team's success in this tour, as they retain both the sprinters' and climbers' jerseys.

    STAGE EIGHT: Maien-Fiecen, 192km, Flat

Today's stage offered little by way of hope for breakaways, with the sprinters and their teams fully prepared to take to the fight in the final few kilometres. The three man break was reeled in with 20km to go, and it was Jaume Roig who seized the victory in the end, defeating Roberto Breppe and Najim Va-der-lood by a whisker.

    STAGE NINE: Cernovcy-Edessa, 220km, Flat

A stage with its fair share of climbs, this is the longest ride of the Tour, and so it was touch and go as to whether the climbs would be enough to stop a massed sprint finish. As it turned out, the pack had all come back together by the final kilometre, but in that last kilometre a number of climbers took advantage of the hill to go for the stage win, and it was Heston Klarin of Angleter who seized the day, denying Lars Petersen a chance at a second stage win. Only those two could break away from the pack, and gained 28 seconds over the leaders, with Lars Petersen thus going 4th on GC.

STAGE TEN: Edessa-St. Cajetan, 201km, Hi. Mt.

Today's epic mountain stage had three great climbs, and determined to go all the way were seven men, including German leader Sebastian Fuchs, who eventually only missed out on the red jersey today by five points, after Fr. Diarmuid Ui Niall summoned up every last ounce of strength he had to take the ten points from the peloton, almost immediately after collapsing and dropping into the grupetto. Eventually the breakaway was caught on the final climb, with the yellow jersey of Hector Haedo being dropped from the front group of seven riders with just over six kilometres remaining.

The seven- Bishop, Allinson, Anhon, J. Kalezny, Victors, Marie-Agatoui, and Kammensent- all continued, with both Corelians dropped 5km out after a series of attacks from Bishop and Allinson. Eventually, with 2.5km to go, it was Skelesstor Anhon who made the decisive attack, but only Allinson could go in pursuit, and it was he who took the stage win- the second in a row for Calat Energy. Bishop set a fierce pace in what remained of his group, but he could only limit the gap to 14 seconds, thus remaining 2nd on GC while Allinson took yellow. However, this Tour is far from over.

STAGE ELEVEN: St. Cajetan-Millard, 165km, Hi. Mt.

This stage was 165km with barely a moment's respite from the climbs and downhills, and we saw a breakaway of ten riders trying to go for glory on the final and toughest mountain stage. But there was another important issue to solve- the red jersey, and despite beating Fuchs on the first climb, Fr. Ui Niall cracked on the second climb and, despite Fr. Ailin Chidefidlear remaining in the break as a stalking horse, was unable to stop Sebastian Fuchs riding on to seal the red jersey.

On the final climb, as ever, the break was caught- although Calat's Tommy Yale and Maroune Fouladi of Royal Air Maroc remained in the lead group- only for Skelesstor Anhon of Whisky Wheel to go off on the attack once again- this time, he dropped everyone, and was able to take his second stage win and, with just the mountain time trial tomorrow to go, the yellow jersey. Leon Allinson and Sean Bishop rode over together after various attacks failed to materialise, with them now 8 and 18 seconds behind Anhon respectively. Will either take the win at the last on the time trial, or will Anhon pull off a surprise Tour victory?

STAGE TWELVE: Ft. Heinrich-Mt. Christopher, 43km, Mt. TT

Today's yellow jersey decider was won by Lars Petersen- who thus climbed to 3rd on GC- with a time of 1:02:09, but this was not the main issue at hand. Everyone was more concerned with whether Skelesstor Anhon, Leon Allinson, or Sean Bishop would emerge as almost certain Tour winner. In the end, it was Anhon who put in a barnstorming time to finish 3rd on the day, with his lead over Allinson extended to 1:07, and Bishop dropping to 4th. Thus it'll be long shot Anhon who'll wear the yellow jersey on the procession into New Birmingham, alongside Sebastian Fuchs' red, but who will take green on the final sprint?
