Markup: Article I, Section 1: Anthem Clause
7. The anthem of the European Union, to be played in all official occasions, is ?Ode to Joy? from Ludwig van Beethoven?s 9th Symphony.
Proposed change to:
TBD, let all member-states vote on an anthem. Perhaps selected through a special, Eurovoice-style contest held on neutral ground in Europolis.
So it would be:
_7. The anthem of the European Union, to be played in all official occasions, is _"Contest Winner's Song" by Contest Winner's Artist.
That sounds like a good idea.
There's an idea. I'd hold the contest before editing the Constitution, though.

I support the change of dropping Beethoven's 9th Symphony, 4th Movement as the regional anthem and holding a contest for the new regional anthem.
A contest would be more representational of the people of Europe as a recent poll in Corelia expressed a consensus dislike for this anthem
This proposal is approved 5-0. A contest open to the public shall be created.
