Article IV Section II: Verdicts Clause

  • Original text included in Article XIX (see Article IV Section I: Definition Clause

    **Proposed text:

The European Court of Justice shall, upon giving a verdict in a trial, give a suitable sentence and/or course of action to be taken. The maximum sentence it may impose is one of life imprisonment, and it may not compel any action that contravenes the Constitution.**

    Self-explanatory, I think.

Sounds good I vote YES although we need something about where imprisonment would take place

  • YES. I think the issue of imprisonment is probably best left to legislation - or indeed to the ECoJ itself.
