Said the President. Issola blushed, as Fabián Picardo didn't make those comments: "Thank you Mr. President. Despite being a Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party member, I will always give my support to those measures concerning us. We have raised the Mennrimiak's tax to a 4%, so we regain that benefit from somewhere we don't like to much." Issola laughed a bit, so did Cospedal and Aguilar. "Thank you very much Albert."* Aguilar answered. Both left Moncloa and the conversation wasn't heard by anyone but the 3 politicians. Another summit was over, and now Aguilar had to prepare his suitcases. The next destination was Nofoaga.

After that His Majesty Lawrence, King of Montenbourg offered a dinner reception where they talked with the respectives heads of state and representatives about the importance of promoting good relationship between Montenbourg and the rest of Europe. Do not fall for the tricks of the alcoholics, for their only wish is to have more and more alcohol as to satiate themselves, even if it brings them and those around them to ruin.

But of course, everyone knows this. Everyone knows that their 'promises,' of love, of future abstinence, and so on and so forth, are entirely false.

So, then, what is this election? If we do not satiate the desires of alcoholics, why should we satiate the desires of these power-addicts?

Ah, but of course, they are not power-addicts. They are entirely sincere in their promises, promises to bring fast transportation and internet to all Europeans.

If only this could be true. The reality is that these promises are ridiculous; at a European level, it would be entirely impossible for them to be accomplished; Europe is not integrated enough to support such an expansion, for every country, in everything, has entirely different standards. Even if this were not true, resistance from the people and the various collectives that make up society, whether they are the nations, the ethnicities, the cultural or linguistic groups, or even the professions would stop them entirely.

But this is of now matter, for they are not meant to succeed. These magnificent proposals; they are all a ploy, a ploy to gain power over the European people as to satisfy a terrible addiction that threatens to rip everything apart, from the air to the sea and to our very lives, as I stated in my previous broadcast.

Of course, I may be one of these addicts. I myself do not know that I am not; it is possible that I have become so addled in my in my desire for power, that I no longer can see things for what they are.

But even then, I have stated repeatedly that I, at least as far as I know, do not want power for myself. I want to give power to the people, both individually and through the many constituent groups of European society, whether they are national, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, political, or professional.

I want to end the addiction to power, as well, not by punishing the addicted but simply by removing the structures that allow and support their addictions, replacing them with a truly egalitarian system, a system based upon both democracy and logical discussion, a system in which the facts, undistorted by bias, are available to the people.

At the same time, however, we must allow for empowerment. We cannot simply have destruction, embodied a system in which people are brought down; we must have a system defined by creation; a system in which all are brought up, to become active participants in a new polity; a system in which all individuals and all societal bodies are entirely autonomous, with fair representation; but at the same time united in a fellowship where the strong help the weak so that the weak may one day help them, in which all may have true dignity.

Again, as I have said before, I cannot possible accomplish this all; such a thing may not even be accomplished in a hundred years. But one must at least begin, one must at least try.

People of Europa:

This is an important inflection point in the history of our Union. Just as these past elections here in Fremet will surely have groundbreaking consequences for years to come, these Commission elections come at a great time of change for the European Union and its memberstates. We have observed the renewed rise of communism. We have observed coups, overt political instability, and a general ineffectiveness of our institutions to address the crises we face. In times of great change, many will call for reactionary policies, pushing us back into our sandboxed nationstates or towards some sort of federal union— neither of which is a solution to the immense challenges facing us all. We must maintain a steady course and not stray down the garden path. And with that, I formally announce my campaign for Premier Commissioner of the European Union.

As a long-standing politician, I know how to remain focused to achieve sensible goals. It is my firm belief that one of the EPA's strongest tenets is its ability to develop policies with broad appeal, palpable to even the most remote of memberstates. We must take this great asset and use it to further the cause of this Union and pursue policy agendas that serve not the personal interests of memberstates and their politicians— or those that fail to serve some memberstates at all. Our immense diversity must be transformed into a true resource, not some liability or obstacle to reform.

We stand here today before one of this country's greatest symbols. A beacon of liberty and freedom that calls the free people of Europe to these shores.

We have seen first hand the consequences of not extending the freedoms enjoyed by the citizens of Europe to all. As such, I will seek to expand the UDoHR to include non-EU citizens. Every human being deserves for their natural rights to be protected, and nationality should have no bearing on what protections are afforded to them.

I will seek to establish a standardised maritime law, including the codification and standardisation of transiting tariffs and tolls. By establishing a set framework for nations and other entities to follow, we can better enforce national laws and create a more clear permitting system allowing for low-friction trade between memberstates. A codified set of maritime law will increase the efficiency of the European bureaucracy and the organisational efficiency of individual memberstates as a standard set of practices would be much more steady waters to navigate than the current jumbled mess of overlapping (and often contradictory) national laws.

In lieu of a broad transportation and education plan, I will instead seek to establish a special development fund. By giving memberstates access to a stable source of low-interest loans, the European Central Bank will be able to shore up budgets in times of need without offering outright subsidies.

Though I may not have a degree in pedagogy, I can say with upmost certainty that it is not the place of the European Council to implement a standardised curriculum across the continent. Doing so would require the reformation of the education infrastructure of dozens of countries and likely lead to years of lost productivity and incalculable losses involved in the loss of a coherent and quality education. All Europeans have the right to an adequate education, but the Union is ill-equipped to handle such a massive— and unnecessary— undertaking. Concerns over education in individual memberstates should be addressed at that level. It is unreasonable to expect that a shared curriculum can be implemented in such a culturally and systematically diverse continent.

I will seek to streamline the operations of the European Union and avoid extraneous programmes that would detract from our central goal:

We, the sovereign nations of the European Union, in order to forge more cohesive bonds between our peoples, to safeguard peace and improve diplomatic relations, to advance achievements of humanity, to promote democracy and good governance, to flourish in economic prosperity, to guarantee liberty and equality, forever united in diversity

There is no mention of 5G, sweeping education reform, or an overly complicated transportation infrastructure that would only serve to divide us on the minutia. The European Union is a powerful tool that must be used not as a broad, blunt instrument, but as the vehicle by which nations come together in the name of cooperation. By establishing this climate of mutual understanding, general peace, and accountability for actions taken, we establish the means for like-minded nations to go beyond that cooperative framework established in the European Union. The viability of broad, pan-regional programmes is certainly a tough nut to crack, but agreements individually tailored for memberstates that compliment existing lines of cooperation in the broader Union serve to create prosperous ties between memberstates. Integration cannot be rushed, or we risk losing the immense progress that we have made thus far.

It was in this great square that the liberation of Fremet from communist occupation was declared. Our revolution was successful. The success of this great project is yet to be determined. Let us continue to carry the shining light of Europe into the future. Thank you.

It was a nice afternoon in Antequera, the 2nd Capital city of Spain. Pro-European Union demonstration arrived to the rally, as everyone who supported the EPA was there. Juncker arrived sooner than usual, because there were many things ready for this last meeting. He did everything he had to do before coming. The place started to be more crowded, the assistance was amazing. The off-voice decided to spoke, and the crowd started to cheer: "ESPAÑAAAAAA. PLEASE GIVE A THUNDERSTORMING APPLAUSE TO JEAN-CLAUDE JUNCKEEEER" So they did. Juncker came to the stage and the off-voice said: "Now, please enjoy the show!"

No one knew what the off-voice was talking, but soon they would know. Tarzan boy started to play and everything started. 2 Junckjets crossed the sky with "God Save the Junckjet" written on the jets and painting the EU flag on the sky along with the Patrulla Águila. Behind them, a Junckopter and a Junckblimp were scorting the Juncklane. The aerial show seemed to be over, when a little plain with no Juncker things crossed the sky and a parachuitist came off the plane. When he opened the parachute, the crowd was able to see the new Junckchute. The crowd applauded the show.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you should look at your back, to the train stop and also the tram stop!" In that moment, Dancing Queen started to play and the Juncktrain and the Junckram were standing in their respective stops. In the streets, the Juncktruck, Junckvan, Junckcar, Juncktank float, Junckbus, Junckyle, Junckbike, Junckaxi and the Junckorbike were parked there. The Junckzip-line was installed and behing the stage, on the closer pier to the stage, the Junckboat was being parked. And to end with this, the chairs were the Junckcairs, the same used in Fremet. Everyone applauded the show and Juncker finally proceeded:

"Today, I bring no proposals, but I'm going to talk about what we have done from the Internal Affairs Commission during this term and every proposal that we are applying for this new term. During the last term, I met with 16 European Leaders thanks to the European Heads of Government or State meeting. We solved the crisis in Eastern Haane, reached a deal to help Leagio on green energies that I will be taking to the European Council after the elections. I met with the Prime Minister of Czech Slavia, and we set the baselines for the new projects that are coming to Europe in the future, we introduced the European Union Mobile App which is really useful and so have proven the hundreds of millions of downloads it has received since it entered in operation. But the best thing I have done during these months is being the Commissioner of Internal Affairs of this marvelous region, of every single European citizen. And I have worked for all of you, with no difference like where you were from or ethnic, sexual orientation or gender. I believe on a multicultural Europe, where everyone is free. And I'm fighting for getting that Europe against these elections."

People started a big round of applause

"This camapign we have also brought up proposals like a brand new project for the old Eurostar, the European Touristic Programme, the guarantee of not overloading the European Union's budget, protecting the young people, the new ERASMUS programme, the EUROPOL and the European Technological Crimes Unit creation, protecting equality, using diplomacy to solve conflicts, we are going to celebrate Europe Day, the 5G project, the new Green deal for Europe along with using eco-responsible energies and other measures to stop climate change, bringing the European Institutions closer, the basleines for a Free Trade Area, pushing forward reserach, development and innovation, protecting the environment and creating the European Oceans and Waters Agency and more things we left pending on the first term and we are getting done in the 2nd term if I get re-elected. There are lots of measures, projects and things we can do for Europe, and as I didn't surrender when we had tension moments in the European Assembly meeting, I won't surrender on this camapign, you have my word"

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a pleasure to campaign everywhere in Europe. We have been to Inquista, to Icholasen, Fremet, Reitzmag, Mennrimiak, Nocotoria, Nofoaga, Malborya, Czech Slavia, Duxburian Union, Pravoslaviya, Vayinaod and so on. Because that's what a candidate for Internal Affairs does, take its campaign everywhere in Europe to let the people know about their proposals. Now, let's go and win that debate to then win the elections and getting a better Europe.

Simon woke up very early and ate breakfast with the staff of 10 Downing Street. He is to fetch another delegate, this time from the Duxburian Union. He is very fascinated and has great respects towards the Duxburian Union and its leaders. The car went to the airport and Simon waited in the VIP Lounge. Some members of the press tried to ask him if he will conduct a trip to Spain to fix the crisis but he managed to avoid those questions.

"So in this rally here, i would like to talk a bit about my policies. Because i understand that you do might have heard of me, but do not know much of my policies at all. To some of you, you are rightfully ask questions like who is the woman from Leagio? What does she have to offer? How will she help my life when compared to the other candidates? Now, those are good questions to ask and i will answer. Well, first i am a member of Leagioan Senate and have passed policies that have helped the Leagioan Economy jump up recently since it joined this community of nations. Now the question on how i will help your life if you elect me is simple, i intend to provide better health-care benefits through the Health Insurance Card program. The program helps a good amount that need health insurance within this community of nations, but its needs to be expanded upon to provide more. Now, i am not talking about making it take up the entire EU Budget (i can almost hear Trympov typing on his phone about it right now)."

The crowd laughed at the joke that she had made.

"Now that is only one thing that i would like to work, but another thing i will work is giving the European Court of Justice against powers to provide justice and stability to the European Union. I want to provide the European Court of Justice checks and balances, but not to have any ability to take over the soverignty of nations like yours. Furthermore, I wish to see a new age of European Equality upon this world. I want to enact cut budget contributions to developing nations but also if i can, i want to also reduce contributions for nations like the Duxburian Union."

The Crowd cheered.

"The European Union is full of people from all sets of nations that want the same thing. The chance to build our lives the way that we see fit. If i am Primier Commissioner, i will see to that this dream will continue. Thank you."

Isn’t this election crazy, folks? Isn’t it ridiculous? All these candidates, there’s so many, I don’t even know who half of them are! And they’re all going round doing these speeches and rallies, which, by the way, I invented. Nobody gives me credit for it, and that’s OK, but I was the first to do that, OK? And now everybody does it, and to be honest, I don’t think they’re doing it very well, but that’s fine, they can do that.

So this election, folks, has so many people and so many speeches, and they’re so bad. The more they speak, the more places they go, the crazier it gets, folks. Now, I wasn’t going to run in these elections, OK? It’s not like I don’t have better things to do with my time; I have my business, I have my own country, I have the Make Europe Great Again Foundation, so I have so many things to do. But I’ve been watching the shows, all the shows, and the more I see these people talk, I think what the hell’s going on? Who are these people and why do they want to do all these crazy things?

Therefore, I am officially announcing that Dragan Trympov is standing for the office of Premier Commissioner of the European Union. Because it’s so important, folks, that we don’t let any of these other people in charge of the region.

You know, when Whiteford stood down, I was so glad, I thought, thank God, folks. Thank God. I told you she’d be a disaster and, well, was I right or was I right? Our region still has so much Communism, we’ve got the Emperor of Inimicus being shot out of the sky, we’ve got some real bad things going on in Eastern Haane and Nofoaga, and Whiteford has failed so badly. So the EPA tapped her on the shoulder and they said ‘Whiteford, you’re not going to win, time to go.’ Bye-bye!

So things are as bad as they were four months ago, and now these candidates just want to make everything even worse. The EPA have nominated Angela Merkel – remember her? That was days ago, and she still hasn’t got her papers in! Can you believe that? As of now, Merkel is not on the ballot! Maybe she’s having second thoughts. If you had the EPA, the globalist elites, come and say, you have to be their candidate for Premier, and you have to defend them, would you do it?

But while they’ve got Merkel, in a room, trying to convince her not to drop out, they’ve sent Juncker out there to tell you what they’re going to do to Europe. And oh, boy. This guy came here and said he was going to take your money, and give it to big corporations, big telecom companies, so they can do 5G. With TV aerials, which, folks, is not going to work, OK? You can’t do 5G with TV aerials.

But it’s OK! It’s fine, folks, because we’ll get some of the money back. Some. Not as an investment; he wants to get the money back in taxes. Isn’t that ridiculous? It’s a gift! He’s literally going to gift your money to big telecom companies, and there’s no return except in tax revenues. I’m a businessman, OK, and that is the single worst deal of all time; not for Juncker, because if he wins, that’s OK, you don’t get to vote him out in four months’ time because he can’t run. It’s the worst deal ever for you. The ordinary, forgotten people of Europe, and her nations, getting screwed by globalist politicians and their big corporate friends. That’s the EPA, people. They’re in a big globalist alliance against you.

So then I hear about the ELDR, and their candidate for Premier is a woman called Maria Kerstin, OK? She’s supposed to be 36, she looks about 50, but that’s OK, I’m not going to criticise her for that. And so far she’s fallen for a fake meme, can you believe that? If you told Kerstin that they’d taken ‘gullible’ out of the dictionary, she’d go running up the stairs, get the dictionary off the bookshelf, flick, flick, flick. And she’d find it in there and she’d say, well, folks, looks like we need to update our dictionary. It’s true!

And by the way, when she’s going round doing these speeches, she keeps saying ‘oh, I’m not completely ELDR, I don’t always agree with the ELDR, I think the ELDR is wrong on this,’ and you think, well, what do you agree with the ELDR on? She’s only in the ELDR to say she doesn’t like it, and you know what, I don’t like the ELDR either, so maybe that’s something we can agree on.

But her proposal to cut the budget contributions of poorer countries – isn’t that so crazy? She wants the richer countries – DU, Inquista, Angleter – to pay more. But no, she says they’re not going to pay more. So I’m like, how does that work? Maybe she wants the EU to run out of money, or maybe she’s lying, I don’t know.

But she wants to make the richer countries pay more, relatively speaking, at least; and those tend to be the bigger countries, and to really smack them down she wants to make sure they don’t get proportional, fair representation in the Council. That’s so wrong and it’s going to destroy Europe, folks. You pay more, but you don’t get more say. Those countries are already getting screwed, and this Kerstin wants to screw them so much more, it’s ridiculous.

And then there’s Winston! That guy is the single biggest snake in European politics, OK? He was all ‘oh, I love Dragan, I love Trympov’, because he wanted me to drop out and endorse him, OK? And then he turned round and said ‘oh, let’s have a federal Europe, isn’t Trympov bad’. Winston is such a mess, it’s laughable. And now he wants to tell all your schools what to teach, he wants to put your money into crazy projects that’ll never work, like this giant tube thing, and all these satellites in space, with lasers.

Folks, the EPA want to take your money and give it to their globalist friends; but the ELDR want to take your money, play with it themselves, and of course, give it to migrants, because these people are ‘Migrants and Minorities First’. They don’t care about ordinary people, folks. They don’t care about you. And the radical left candidates – well, folks, you don’t need me to tell you they want to take your money too.

If we’re going to Make Europe Great Again, then we need to stop taking people’s money. People are losing enough money, it needs to stop. I promise I will not increase the EU budget if I am Premier Commissioner. No more crazy spending projects, OK?

There’s only two other candidates who get this, folks. Many people have been asking me, Dragan, what do you think about Cocx? And I hear what he says about fiscal responsibility, and it’s great, but I haven’t heard much about Cocx. Some of what he’s been saying, I like, but I haven’t seen enough of Cocx. I can’t trust him to stand up and not flip-flop, OK? And folks, nobody with that name is getting elected – it’s so sad, but he has to change it if he wants to win!

The other candidate, of course, is the great John Oliver. That man, OK, he knows how to rattle the globalist elite in this region. He’s not afraid to say what he thinks; I hear he’s being a little more serious in his tone right now, and I think that’s good, he knows we need to unite this region. But he’s a good guy, and he’s going to work with me to Make Europe Great Again, and he’s going to keep calling out what’s wrong with our region, and that’s great, and I hope you all vote for him for Internal Affairs.

The problems our region has are basically the same it had four months ago, because our current globalist Commission has done such a terrible job. So I’m not going to go round telling you what you already know. Not this time. Because we still need common sense against coups and Communism. We still need to stop the crazy spending projects. We still need to put the member states first, and let them put their citizens first.

Four months ago we went from nowhere to 30% of the vote, in a rigged system, in the space of a few weeks. We hit the globalists so hard, they didn’t know what was going on. Europe, we need change, we need development. Nothing has happened to the EU in the recent EPA administrations and we've had enough. We need the truth, we need things that will happen and not promises that aren't fulfilled. Mr. Juncker is proud of the meeting he claims to be the first European Assembly. He promised to fix the crises here in Europe but he has not given Icholasen a place to call home. He has not fixed the diplomatic situation between Reitzmag and Spain. But I don't need to talk more about that. I want to focus on what I can and will do. Nofoaga, you have witnessed many things I planned to do if I win the Internal Affairs Commissioner race. But that is just the beginning of everything. There's nothing we can do to battle climate change if we're just doing summits. We need action. Modern technology can do the job for us if we will develop it. From biodegradable plastics to electric cars, those are what we need to invest in.

"It's been a few days since the start of my campaign, and I've come here in person to the Duxburian Union since I feel its important that I outline something that's been lost in some of the candidates. The purpose of our union, something that Duxburians can remember from over a decade ago. Our union is here to make our collective wills as nations far stronger than they would be individually, but it is not to overtake the purpose of why nations exist.

The European Union is not a nation, but some of these candidates are treating as such, some candidates are even treating as if it is your local government. A good Europe is one you don't notice in your day to day life, a good Europe should be there to set the rules for governments to play around in, and set the table for governments to play on. Europe should not be moving the game pieces.

It shouldn't be a shock then, that those candidates who seek to make Europe the new power player in your life, are the ones driving partisanship across the region. The last time that regional politics were quite as nasty was maybe in 2012, but it certainly never reached the levels of toxicity we see now. I blame that personally on some the candidates trying to overvalue the Eurogroups. I doubt most Europeans care if a politician is EPA, ELDR, MEGA, PEL, etc. Why? Because these groups don't have a day to day impact on your lives compared to your local political organisations, and they should not have an impact. That's what I am afraid is happening to Europe, politicization through these Eurogroups who then treat themselves as if they are parties with

Stating which countries should have nuclear weapons, that's a Europe project. Making some region-wide 5G infrastructure, meaning your personal data is at risk to either control from other countries or some inefficient European bureaucracy should not be a European project. Declaring that safe drinking water is a human right, that's a European ideal. Making some EU-branded transportation network, with a budget not designed to handle massive transportation infrastructure, that really isn't a European project. Neither is universal standards for education, I would not want my kids to learn Duxburian history as a requirement to complete Vardic high school as much as I wouldn't expect any of you to want to know Vardic history.

Sometimes, we try to make a Europe project happen, and it doesn't go over well. For example the Commission spent years trying to get involved in Dromund Kaas, when the Coalition of the Willing almost always said no aside from specific partners such as Gallorum or Pax Aurea. The commission tried, and historically failed, and failing is okay for the right intentions. They didn't waste billions of Euros on their failure like some of the proposed projects would. One of my opponents condemned the EPA for not going to help refugees there, and I say to that....why would they do that? I'm glad the EPA spent time on more worthy projects of their time rather than another failure of getting involved in Dromund Kaas. The Kaasian Crisis is example of something that is a European event being handled perfectly fine by individual member-states on their own without European involvement.

I am not going to promise you a better life, that is not my job as a potential European Commissioner...I am not going to promise fancy internet speeds, fancy trains, or other bloated projects. I am going to promise you that I will keep member-states in line, following the same rules as everyone else, and ensure that Europe works towards tangible goals.

I am going to make sure the EU can pick its own fights in court if thats needed,I am going to make sure more of your nation's money stays at home before Europe gets it by lowering contributions for everyone across the board. I will ensure that we will work to not regulate Europe, but harmonise it such as the work done in the EAA, and the work that should be done in the ESA but is not. I am here for a realistic Europe, and an efficient Union in the background of your lives.

My dream and goal is for you to never think about what the Union does in your day to day life, you shouldn't curse out your internet connection dropping, or some EU ran train being late. No Europe should be working in the background.

To my well intention opponents with all these grand ideas, I say that you should go run for local office in your nations...there you will make the difference you want, but I don't think you will make that difference at the European level and it is not what Europe needs.

If elected I will work for what Europe needs, and Europe needs definitions on how to handle coups, revolutions, and civil wars with definitions and a proper set of regulations to guide it in trying times. Europe needs to include governments back in the conversation instead of dictating to them what to do. Europe needs to extend its protections of patents into copyrights, and update patents to reflect the ever changing landscape of the software development world, as well as work in genetics.

I am not here to be a superstar. I am not here to be a celebrity poltician like the rest of them. I am here to get to work...working to Make Europe Great Again.

A staggering win for the Finest and their leader Duchess Simge, who, of course, was elected to her own seat in Terra Quaestoris.

CH: “All Terras have now reported their results in what will go down in history as a monumentally momentous election, which saw a brand new movement conquer three out of the five NIC seats up for grabs, the Green and Progressive vote all but eradicated, and only the ILA and CCU stand as traditional parties against the populist onslaught. To give you a short recap of the night’s events before we sign off: the Inimician Liberal Appeal and their candidate Alaina Kaach has managed to cling onto its Dominus seat, but narrowly lost the Centurio NIC seat to the Centre-Conservative Union’s Magnus Hern. The only People’s Movement representative on the Council was ousted (well, she was killed a month ago, but her party was ousted) and replaced with the Emperor’s Finest leader Duchess Simge Galanth (prompting, by the way, a Ducal election in Terra Quaestoris. The Finest also performed very well in Diutius, conquering both NIC seats.”

HS: “A truly momentous win for the cause of Imperial Support in this country, and a shattering blow to Quaestoris’s southern districts, which are so heavily pro-Movement. The ILA will be disappointed in its performance in Centurio, whereas the CCU will no doubt be celebrating its victory in the province. Remarkably, most left-of-centre votes seemed to have switched from the Greens and Progressives to the ILA and the Finest, which should be cause for worry in the CPP’s headquarters and Jeff Speller’s office. Speller, of course, remains on the NIC as Cllr for Terra Legatus.”

CH: “Indeed. Thank you, Hermann, for tonight’s results. Christopher Strathclyde's thoughts about how the club owner's trousers didn't match his jacket, how he had his blazer sleeves rolled up, and how he had described the venue Christopher was now entering as the best "disco" in Spain were rudely interrupted by the mention of champagne. "The journey was most satisfactory, Sir, thank you. Now, as for this champagne...", Christopher began. He walked up to Mr Ferrer, put his hand on his shoulder, and led him to what he had immediately identified as the bar area, leaving Max Barrington to fend for himself. Perhaps tonight would finally be the night when the Strathclydes would present themselves as the superior Inimician diplomats.

Max Barrington had not said a word, and had watched with a raised eyebrow as Christopher seemed to immediately charm the establishment's director with talk of drinks. He watched the two men go off into the distance, presumably towards the bar, and for a moment he felt as alone as he had done in the preceding months, in the Imperial Palace corridors. No one to protect him, his closest ally Sir Augustus Barrington far away in Europolis. He was left to fend for himself. He looked around and discovered the Inimician delegation had presumably arrived immensely early, as apart from table attendants and security staff, the only other guest appeared to be a masked weirdo.

Awkwardness struck him. He shouldn't be here. He was out of place. What to do next? He wasn't made for this. He had looked forward to this opportunity so much, finally he would have a chance to redeem himself, the weaker of the two Imperial Consuls, someone now suspected of the worst crimes it is possible for an Inimician to imagine. And now this. He needed -- no, he thought. He would not admit he needed a drink. He was Marquis Maximillian de Barrington, Imperial Councillor, Imperial Consul. He did not need a drink. But he would very much appreciate one.

Juncker was confused. It seemed than no one understood they couldn't build anything along with the ESA if that insititution didn't make a report before starting to build that spaceport: "His Majesty, I'm afraid that the European Space Agnecy can't fund anything if there no previous report that is given to the Premier Commissioner and the European Council, which would both have to give their approval. This is very important to allow the ESA to fund it. If not, it's technically impossible. I will tell the elected director, but he needs to accomplish the law. Else, he could get petitioned by someone for not accomplishing the law". He said.

Juncker appraoched to where the action was, while looking at the news. He hadn't had much to do, but at least, he was having some fun.

"Seems like a good Caribbean destination to spend half of your life. About Lula, I saw her in the news when all of these revolutions took place here. I was very concerned about that, and I think she is doing great to get Nofoaga back in competition. I also seemed really severe when people knew me at first, and now, look, I'm just 'un cachito de pan', which in English wants to me something like reallu friendly. Abiut my security, don't worry. People will strugle, on thinking where I'll have moved to, but I don't think they will find me. If I need something, I will just tell you George."

Erna stepped inside from giving her victory speech outside. She looked around the room: her friends, family, and colleagues had all gathered in her home to watch tonight’s results.

“Thank you all— I couldn’t have done this without the help of each and every one of you. There is still work to be done, but first: who’s thirsty?

Erna pulled out an absolutely ridiculously massive 8 litre bottle of Gallois champagne, and after some minor difficulty, opened it and overfilled everyone’s glasses.

Erna was absolutely floored. She had spent the rest of the weekend pouring over the countless binders that filled the shelves of her home. Today was the first day of the rest of her life. She was to be the Statsminister of the Kingdom of Fremet. Even saying it out loud filled her with an unsettling mix of fear and excitement. Today’s agenda was long, but Erna was ready for it. She gave her beloved feline, Sir Cuddles, a snuggle before walking out the door.

As Erna got into her car, she realised that this may be the last time she actually drives herself somewhere for the next 4 years. As she weaved her way through Trondheim’s morning bustle, she jammed to some of her favourite tunes, including the Inimican EuroVoice hit “It’s Raining Men.” As Erna neared the Staatsrat building, she noticed the crowds of people already packing into Republic Square to watch the inauguration.

She passed through the barricades that had been set up by the Statspoliti and went to park in one of the Staatsrat’s subterranean parking garages. As she pulled in, she noticed Jermias Corbychov in stepping out of his camper van. He was supposed to be getting a co-op flat in the south of the city, but maybe he enjoyed the camper life? He had always had a screw or two loose anyways, Erna thought to herself. She pulled into her assigned parking space and was greeted by 4 members of the Statspoliti, who promptly guided her to upstairs to the great hall of the Staatsrat, where countless aides, party officials, and civil servants rushed about, preparing for the upcoming session of the Staatsrat.

As she was making the final touches to her speech, Erik approached her. “Erna, we are all so very proud of you. You have managed to do what too many thought was impossible. You have proven that Fremet has a future, and you’ve given renewed hope to millions.”

“Thank you Erik. You and I both know it wasn’t just me. You, Michel, mother, Hans, Skei— even the interns —we did this together.”

“You are right. Is your speech ready?”

“As ready as it is going to be.” Erna said as she closed her coloured binder.

An aide approached them “Ms Solberg, it is time.”

Erik turned to her as Erna walked towards the door to the podium, “Seize the time, Erna. Live now. Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again.”

"Of course, we will have to include respect for the European Constitution and Acquis Communautaire when it comes to these agreements."
