An Introduction: Who is Jean-Claude Juncker?
Extracted from the EPA's October 2021 Election Manifesto
Ever wondered who is Jean-Claude Juncker? What did he study? What has he done during his life? We have tried to answer all those questions on a 3-paragraph text. It's been quite complicated, it's hard to describe Juncker in 3 paragraphs. But we tried our best:
-
Campaign Launch Rally - Spain
8th October 2021
Luxemburgo - Spain
The crowd gathering at Luxembourg City CentreIt was a nice autumn day in the Spanish town of Luxembourg, in Germanium, the city where Jean-Claude Juncker was born nearly 67 years ago. The crowd arrived to the city centre from all around Spain, expecting to see former Internal Affairs Commissioner and nowadays, the European Progressive Alliance's candidate for Premier Commissioner. There were two things that were not normal on the Campaign Lauch for Juncker: first was the venue, which for the first time in Juncker's campaigns history, was different to Europolis. And secondly, there was more than one guest in the rally. Donald Tusk, the EPA's Chairman and Deputy Speaker of the Council; and Jesús Aguilar, the President of Spain; both close friends of the Luxembourgish and, consequently, Spanish candidate. What other surprises would they have for him? Nobody knew except Donald, who would help the EPA candidates during their campaigns all around the European Union.
The time was getting closer, and the crowd was just getting bigger as it approached to the expected starting time. Of course, the rally was in Spain, what could Juncker expect from his own country, where he was supported by the 70% of the population according to polls? Finally, the bell from the closest church to the square could be heard, and rang 7 times. Everyone became silent, the whole plaza did. And suddenly, Run for Cover by the Killers started to play and the Spanish President appeared on the stage with the song playing and the crowd cheering, while Jean-Claude and Donald were behind the stage.
The President dared to dance and waved the crowd, that cheered even more when Aguilar danced over the stage.
"¡Buenas tardes Luxemburgo, and welcome to the first rally of Jean-Claude Juncker's campaign!
Today is a very special day for Jean-Claude, for Donald and for me; not just because we have finally been able to meet together for the first time in ages (The crowd laughed) but because this rally marks the start of a very exciting campaign around the European Union for my dear friend and your compatriot and neighbour, Jean-Claude Juncker. And I had to be here today, supporting him, because he deserves my endorsement and my support after all he has done for this Union, for this country, for this region and this town. I will be always pleased for everything you have done for me Jean-Claude, and this country owes a lot to you.
I have been asked not to extend myself so much, but I will ignore Donald and describe Jean-Claude in five words: hardworking, committed, honest, humble and simpathetic. Those 5 words describe perfectly what my friend is like, so lay back in your chairs and enjoy this rally. Together, we will help Jean-Claude to become Europe's next Premier Commissioner, with a great platform and a fantastic running mate that I have no doubt that will be an excellent Internal Affairs Commissioner. And speaking about mates, please give it all for the European Progressive Alliance's Chairman... Mister Donaaaaaaaaald Tuuuusk! Thank you very much!"
(The crowd applauded Aguilar and cheered for Tusk's appearance on the stage)
"Evening Luxembourg! What an honour to be here today accompanied by 2 of my best friends, Jesús and Jean-Claude.
Before the man you have been waiting for, obviously not me, (The crowd laughed) appears on stage, I wanted to say some words about the hard work not just me, but the whole of the European Progressive Alliance team is doing. You know, many people around the European Union want to see the EPA on fire or just dead. When we lost the election 4 months ago, I said there was a lot of damage, but that we had 4 months to revert all of it. Today, I can affirm the Eurogroup has changed, and we have headed towards a new vision of the European Union, a new vision of our planet and our region as a whole. When the European Progressive Alliance gets pushed to the edge of the cliff, we always manage to defend ourselves and forget about the cliff to focus on the peak of the mountain. And that mountain, ladies and gentlemen, is just in front of us.
These elections are key for Europe's development, for your countries' development and for the survival of the European Union. You, the Europeans, have to choose between trustworthiness or inactivity, effectivity or slackness. And let me tell you something: we have learnt from our mistakes, and we are back stronger than ever before. Together, we will fight against lies and misinformation, against those wanting to push us back to the edge of the cliff, because the EPA never dies, but protects and sacrifices for the Europeans. When the Council was a desert, we found an oasis and got it rolling. When we had to face horrible crisis in this region, we always were there to offer coherent and reliable solutions; and despite we are a new team, we still have the same compromises and purposes.
To all of you listening to me, there are three different kind of eurogroups: those who want to destroy it, those who do nothing for it and those who are sick of both and want the best for this admirable project called Europe. Let's fight, let's believe and let's give a, how did he call it... THUNDERSTORMING APPLAUSE FOR JEAN-CLAUDE JUNCKER! Thank you very much!"
(The crowd stood up to give a standing and thunderstorming ovation to Jean-Claude Juncker, who hugged Donald and waved the crowd)
"Bonjour Luxembourg! Bonjour Espagne! Bonjour Europe! Thank you very much for coming!
It's been four months since the last time I spoke to such a large crowd, full of people that think differently, but all of them have the same feelings towards the European Union: we want it to survive, to grow and to be stronger and overall, United in Diversity. But everything you are looking at right now wouldn't have been possible without the support of my friends and bosses, Mr. Aguilar and Mr. Tusk. You don't know how much they have helped me to prepare this campaign, along with the fantastic European Progressive Alliance's team, full of professionals and tireless people wishing the best for the Eurogroup and the Union.
Four months ago, I also lost an election, something that is actually good. Remember the other candidates arguments saying the European Progressive Alliance managed European affairs terribly? That there actually was a better choice? Well, four months later, I'll say it again, but louder: there is no better choice than an EPA's Commissionship. This camapign, will be special, but different, because we needed to adapt to the new times and much more things Donald has been able to fix and keeps working at; but it will be special. Why? Very simple, because Europe doesn't need personalist candidacies or reproaches between candidates, they need effective solutions and outstanding proposals to move forward.
If you look carefully, I have chosen 'Dream, Do, Succeed' as my personal slogan for this election. And now, you will all be asking yourselves this question: 'why on Earth, Jean-Claude, have you chosen this slogan? What does it mean?' Well, today we are here to explain its meaning and the reason why we have decided to choose this slogan. When you aim to do something, you dream about that thing; when you sleep, you have dreams. We all, in some way, have dreams during our lifes: when I was little, I wanted to end with Franco's dictatorship, when I was a young adult, I wanted to change my country and now that I'm Europe's grandpa, my dream is to leave a better European Union than the one I found to the future generations.
But, how do we achieve that dream? Doing things. Alright, this is pretty obvious, but that is how dreams are accomplished; but also one of the best developed skills of the EPA: doing useful things for the Europeans. Under our several Commission mandates, we made this region better, we pushed forward Green Deals, international transport systems... We even drafted several key acts! What am I going to do during this campaign, and if I win the election? I will work for this Union and its citizens, no matter what they think, what God they believe on, suggesting benefitial proposals for all of them.
And incredibly, we have reached the end of our slogan, which is the word 'Succeed'. This word is just simple Maths and the satisfaction of having done an incredible work. Let's first go for the Maths: if you dream about something and you sum up doing things to accomplish that dream, what do you get? Success, indeed. Once, someone said 'success is the sum of small efforts - repeated day in and day out'; and that is when the work part comes in. To succeed, you need to work hard, to resist every blow your opponents and even life gives you, never surrendering despite the massive difficulties you find on your way. And I'm never certain of many things, but there is one I know it's true: when the European Progressive Alliance gets to power, we never surrender.
Ladies, gentlemen, kids: this election is about the future of our region, of our properous Union. I wonder if we didn't have this amazing Union, what would this region be. Some would be surprised of the chaos and the massive restrictions of freedom they would find in some countries of this continent. The Union makes those people wishing to destroy and restrict our freedoms to back up; protects us from several external threats, but more importantly, keeps up United in Diversity. And those 3 words, that are so simple but yet so big, are the ones we shall never forget. I want to be the candidate that helps you to move forward, to unite in diversity. And along with all of you, no matter your religion, nationality, your appearance or your opinions, I want to be Europe's next Premier Commissioner.
Let's do this together Europe, let's do it for the future of this Union and its people. Thank you very much and have a nice evening!"
(The crowd gave a standing ovation to Jean-Claude Juncker, who waved the crowd accompanied by Aguilar and Tusk and, in the background, the new European Progressive Alliance's anthem playing)

Rally 2 - Nofoaga
9th October 2021
Port Beauharnais
Visiting via hologram Gadalland & Aspern and Mennrimiak; streaming online to all EU countriesJean-Claude Juncker arrived to Port Beauharnais by boat after landing in Gadalland and Aspern, where he engaged with the locals taking the ferry to Nofoaga while waiting in the port. When the ferry arrived, the Spanish candidate saw a breathtaking landscape, something that was really different to what he remembered from the astonishing Nofoagan capital city. He decided to go by foot towards where the rally would take place; being easily recognised, true, but also to explore what was left of Port Beauharnais, of the people. But there was something he couldn't believe: that the European Union hadn't activated the mechanisms to send aid.
He finally arrived to the rally, and compared to other campaigns, this one was very different: no gadgets, no Junckchairs; just the necessary things for his rally and some staff to make everything possible. He then greeted and spoke, one by one, to the people that was attending to the rally, and gave his deepest condolences to those who had lost any friend or relative in the volcanic eruption. The atmosphere was incredibly striking, nobody could have ever imagined that a volcano could do as much damage as it did in Nofoaga. But there was a common request from a majority of the attendants, to make this a normal rally, just like any other. And at the planned hour, I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas played and the rally finally started.
"Bonjour Port Beauharnais and a very good evening to those seeing my hologram at Gadalland and Aspern and Mennrimiak! Thank you very much for coming today, as well as for being involved with this campaign.
Before we start, I must say something. First, we all must agree that Mennrimiak, Gadalland & Aspern and Nofoaga are three of the most ignored countries by the European Union policies, and why not to confess that this is provoked by their location. These countries aren't just awarded with a special and priviledged climate, or amazing landscpaes: they are also forgotten and even ignored by the Europeans when we propose new legislation or new proposals, something that must stop happening. The Kingdom of Mennrimiak, Gadalland & Aspern and the Republic Nofoaga are European states and should then be treated as such by those working in Europolis. Because if they are not treated equally, if we keep forgetting about them, they will believe the European Union isn't useful for them.
But the people from Nofoaga, from Gadalland & Aspern and Mennrimiak especially, need reasons to keep trusting on the European Union. And today, I wanted to mention some of them, because the European Union is a great place and under my point of view, leaving it would be a mistake. Thanks to the EU, the people from these countries as well as any other member state receives international health coverage if they fell sick when travelling, they have a guarantee to be helped in times of need, they get to have a voice in our regional affairs and be able to decide what is done in our region, but overall, if I had to justify why a country should stay in this Union, my answer would be: "because we are stronger and we can go further when we are United in Diversity, when we cooperate instead of isolating ourselves and when we help each other". That's the main reason why you, citizens of Europe, of Mennrimiak, of Gadalland & Aspern and Nofoaga, should always believe in the European Union.
Now, getting onto the European Progressive Alliance proposals for this election, we need to speak about Nofoaga. As you know, Nofoaga suffered a destructive and very cruent volcanic eruption last summer, which killed 92,287 people, or what is equal to a 90% of the total population of Nofoaga before the eruption. 4 months later, Nofoaga has only received individual international aid, or in another words, the European Union has not cared enough of such a disgrace, apart from being 'affected'. And now I ask everyone, wherever they are or what they think: is being affected enough to help this people that have lost everything they had? Of course it is not, and this must change as soon as the elections are over. We should prove taht the European solidary and sympathetic spirit still exists, but overall those things, all the available mechanisms to help the Nofoagans as soon as possible, with loans and financial help, as well as talking to the Nofoagan Government beforehand to let the Nofoagans voice be heard. This is, ladies and gentlemen, what real action is about.
Then, I am aware there is a topic that concerns the Nofoagans, the Sertians and the Mennrimians, and that is Climate Change. You the people from these countries are really lucky and priviledged, but also an example for all of us in the continent. Just look at Mennrimiak, for example, which hosted the first ever European Union Climate Conference, that has always been involved in and concerned about the protection of this planet. Or the Nofoagans, that have set and still set an example for every eco-warrior around our Union, protecting their turtles and helping to protect their environment. To be honest with you, we must remember every candidate running in this election that as there is no Planet B, something must be done with Climate Change.
And the European Progressive Alliance and myself are focused on the fight against Climate Change, and we have decided, along the fantastic candidate we have for Internal Affairs and surely one of the most loved people here in Nofoaga, Paul-Gabrielle Muzhare, to include an entire section about Protecting our Environemt. And I'm going to speak about the Energy and Other ideas article of this section, which is composed by 3 main ideas: Promoting the use of solar energy, tidal, wave, wind power; biofuels and biomass as the future’s sources of energy, creating special “Green Areas”, requested by member states, which the European Union must consider a priority to protect, which can be large masses of trees, highly valuable environments or current natural reserves and having the European Commission to encourage countries to fight against Climate Change. These proposals will be included on the new and renegotiated European Green Deal, that we intend to agree at Mennrimiak and before the end of this upcoming term.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are getting closer to the end of this rally, but I want to speak with huge frankness about what is at stake in this election, using my own words and those of our Returning Officer back in January 2011, which are quoted before opening the nominations for the Commission: 'I want our European Commission to consist of Commissioners who are active', and that will only be achieved by those who are experienced enough to run this region. There are many Europes to choose from, but one of them stands out over the rest, and that is the one Ms. Muzhare and myself are proposing. Don't let other candidates lie to you with void promises and incoherent words; think by yourself, analyze our region and choose what's better for us.
Good night, and thank you very much!"
(The new European Progressive Alliance's anthem plays in the background at the end of the rally)

Rally 3 - Inquista
10th October 2021
Saint Dominico
Visiting via hologram Czech Slavia, Gania and Yosai; streaming online to all EU countriesIt was day 3 of the campaign for Jean-Claude Juncker, and Saint Dominico was the next stop in his agenda. He arrived on the first flight from Nofoaga to Inquista, which was full of people travelling to the warm and welcoming Mediterranean country for leisure or tourism purposes. When Jean-Claude finally set foot on Inquistan soil, he could feel that he was home. Inquista was a country where he could feel he was loved and Jean-Claude could prove that while he awaited for his transport to the rally to arrive: he was asked for photographs, autographs... even to show up at a videocall with a family from Gallorum; and he said yes to everything.
The transport finally arrived, and Juncker hopped on into the van that would take him to Sundance Square, where the rally would take place. There, former Foreign Affairs Commissioner, one of his best friends and support for this rally, Antoni Reynels, was waiting for him. So was his Junckrazor Scooter, a new gadget that he was advised to buy because Inquistans loved them, and how would he say no to some jokes about himself? He also brought a gift for Mikaela Kliengberg, a DDS necklace with his face, made of silver and a pink diamond over Juncker's face, which would be given to Antoni in order for the archbishop to receive it. Jean-Claude arrived just in time, as when he hopped off the van and took a seat, the rally started.
(VIBEZ by DaBaby echoes from the the speakers as Bishop Secretary Antoni Reynels makes his way behind the podium on the centre of the stage. Members of the crowd holler and shout in excitement.)
"Good afternoon my brothas, sistas of other mistas, and my non-binary gangstas! It’s such a pleasure to be gathered with you all here today, for a very special visit from a very special someone. I had the absolute honour and privilege of servin' in the European Commission with this absolute mad lad, who I am proud to be able to call one of my homies. I served my term as Foreign Affairs Commissioner durin' both his terms as Internal Affairs Commissioner; it’s my boy, your boy, our boy… Jean Claude Juncker!"
(Members of the crowd cheer, clap, and wave around placards that have the acronym ‘DDS’ written on them.)
"Yes, amen! Give our brotha a warm Inquistan welcome to Saint Dominico!
Juncker, my man, we are all so excited to have you, especially here in Saint Dominico, and we are so excited about your campaign for Premier Commissioner. We’ve all missed the Junckinator, haven’t we? I’ve definitely missed you, and I’ve missed our lil’ Commission posse with Korojaunu Eilidh Whiteford. That was such a dope ass Commission. Good times, dude.
One thing I can tell you about workin' with my man Juncker: this dude never rests, and he never sits still. He be everywhere, and he be up to everything. He be chairing a meeting with European leaders about infrastructure in the morning, making some sort of climate agreement in the afternoon, and then in the evening he’s suddenly on the other side of Europe tryin' to make peace between two leaders about to go to war… and he still makes it home in time for dinner. This dude, by the way, makes the meanest gazpacho. For real, on God. Tastiest damn thing I’ve had in my life.
There is no other European leader I can think of that has the drive, determination and relentlessness to get things done that Juncker does. This man always be chasing new projects, new agreements, and be comin' up with new solutions to our problems. When it comes to the activity game, no one is as busy as he is. When it comes to developin' projects, no one does it like Juncker. He will get Europe movin' again, and he’ll get Europe’s institutions busy again. The dude never misses. No scopes, all of ‘em.
The man has a great motto, which he simply refers to as ‘DDS’. Where I grew up, in Swanridge Heights, we all known what DDS means: drugs, danger, sex. But not for Juncker! Oh hell nah! He’s reinventin' the game. Under Jucnker, DDS will mean ‘Dream, Do, Succeed’! That’s right, it’s time to carry our asses to success. Juncker had two of the most successful Internal Affairs terms in history, and I have no doubt he would do the same as Premier Commissioner!
Just as he serves a mean gazpacho in the kitchen, Juncker is servin' up a hella fine vision for Europe. The only thing more fly than havin' your own God damn tank, is that tight ass platform. The other people, man, they wild ‘n out. We are not about that angry, divisive life that some of these people be preachin’. We about that positivity, that unity, that solidarity. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with a strong, progressive, green and innovative Europe. Y’all feel me? Who’s with me?"
(Members of the audience cheer and clap in unison.)
"Now that’s what I like to hear. So please, without further ado, keep your hands together for our solid G, Jean Claude Juncker!"
(The crowd goes wild as Industry Baby by Lil Nas X starts blaring through the stage speakers. Jean Claude Juncker takes to the stage riding his Junckrazor Scooter. Once Juncker gets off his iconic razor scooter, he and Antoni perform their elaborate secret handshake.)
"Good afternoon Saint Dominico and also to our Czech, Ganian and Yosainese friends! Thank you very much for coming today and being so involved with this campaign!
Before we start, I wanted to thank Antoni Reynels, former Foreign Affairs Commissioner, the best Secretary of Trade (&) Secretary of International Aid and Development, one of my best friends, that you can always trust and rely on when you need him. I have missed to work with you since I left the European Commission Antoni, and I'm very happy to see you today in this magnific Sundance Square, with such an amazing crowd and giving me all your support for one of the most decisive electoral races in this Union's history. You have spoken about me, about how I work, my personality and my attitude, even about my gazpacho! But Inquistans, you aren't aware of how lucky you are to have Antoni Reynels as your compatriot: he established the European Corps, he was and still is the most active Foreign Affairs Commissioner the Europeans remember, he never rested and was always looking to establish new ties with other regions, and he is one of the most amazing cookers I have ever met. He is, in other words, the best.
(The crowd cheered and clapped in unison along with Juncker)
And after this words as an introduction, let's finally get into this rally's content, in which we will talk about the Union of Nicoleizian Soviet Republics, one of my deepest concerns and the biggest challenges the European Union will need to face during the next term, as well as about youth and work opportunities that the European Union can offer to the young people of our region, and every campaign I outline the importance of guaranteeing jobs and stability, as well as saying that we need to look after what we offer to them, because they are the adults of the future, the ones that will pay your pensions and those that will need to look after this planet and make it a better place during their lifes. It is our responsability to take care of them, to offer them new opportunities and make them believe that the European Union is useful.
The European Progressive Alliance is aware of this, so are our candidates and so am I. That's why we have a whole section called "Equality and Youth", with proposals concerning their education, their future, culture and, as the name says, equality. But we are focus on the "Youth and Work Opportunities" article today, describing and also explaining the proposals we have for our young Europeans, some of them have even come to this rally: Wassup' guys? How you doin'? (The crowd laughed and the young people there applauded) Yeah, many say I am old and unupdated, but whenever I want I can speak like a teenager, I do this with Donald Tusk's children all the time!
Anyway, going back to the proposals, here is the first one: We will push forward the 1st European Youth Week, where young people will be able to discuss relevant topics for young
people, showcase EU opportunities in the field of youth and celebrate success stories. This 'Youth Week' would allow young people from all around of Europe to make new friends, to know what the European Union has to offer and listening to the experience of those adults that, when they exited university, managed to get a job in Europolis. But I want to stand out the social part of this event, because if there is something politicians never know how to do correctly, that is thinking what the young people want. And what the youth wants is going out with their friends, meet new people and have a good time, as well as getting to know new cultures and traditions from other countries, and that is our purpose with this European Youth Week. The second proposal is the creation of an European Union Traineeship programme, with working opportunities for young people in the European Commission, the European Court of Justice or the European Council. Educational, language and previous EU-working experience re-requisites will be established to give as much opportunities as possible to the European Union’s young citizens. This traineeship programme will help young university graduates to get more working experience and being able to add that to their curriculum when asking for a job. These Traineeship programmes will last between 3 and 5 months, and there will be three requisites: the first one, having completed a standard 3-year higher education degree (180 credits); secondly, having no prior work experience of any kind, in excess of 6 weeks in any EU previous traineeship and thirdly, having a very good knowledge of, at least, two European languages. This guarantees that we give chances to those interested on knowing how the European Union works.
And now, we are going to talk about the Union of Nicoleizian Soviet Republics or UNSR in its abbreviated form, a topic that concerns many in Inquista, but also all around the European Union, like in Fremet, where they live with the uncertainty of what is going to happen the day after or at night. We have been lucky and the Union of Nicoleizian Soviet Republics has been peaceful towards Fremet, Inquista and other European states, but something needs to be done, we cannot just ignore what is happening. I believe that the European Commission should play an important role in mediation and negotiation with the Union of Nicoleizian Soviet Republics and along other political actors of the region to allow a fair and equal mediation and that dialogue should always be the first way, no matter our stance or the side we support. And the Europeans can relax and lay down if I get to be the new Premier Commissioner, because I won't have a rest nor I won't stop until we get an agreement, with the mediation of the Commission and other actors if requested, to descalate tensions and bring a solution to the current power and legitimacy crisis both Icholasens have. We cannot look aside, we need to be brave and face our problems.
To sum up, this candidacy to the European Commission and to become your next Premier Commissioner wants the best for the Europeans, the best for the member states and the best for this project called the European Union. Some will pop up in your Instagram feed and say that this Union is stupid, that it needs to be widely changed and turned into something testimonial, and that we are governed by an elite that only represents a 1% of the Europeans, which on the whole, is just a summary of **misinformation, lies and absurd statements . We need an union that represents us all, that as our motto says, keep us United in Diversity, no matter what we think or what we believe on; I want an Union that includes everyone, that doesn't let anyone behind, where you can be free, love whoever you want to love, feel as you to feel; in brief, be who you want to be. If you also want this type of Union, then I am your candidate, and I will be here for you no matter what.
Thank you very much and have a nice day!"
(The crowd gives a standing ovation to Jean-Claude Juncker, who is joined by Antoni Reynels at stage will he waves the crowd with Seremos Grandes playing on the background)

Rally 4 - Fremet
12th October 2021
Trondheim
Visinting via Icholasen, Ruthund, Montenbourg, Gallorum, Brickston and Europolis; streaming online to all EU countriesAfter a day break, Jean-Claude Juncker arrived to Trondheim as part of his campaign tour around some European Union countries. It had been a while since Jean-Claude had been on the Atlantic island, cold in winter, warm in summer. And even if the worst face of the Fremetian winter hadn't arrived, Juncker could already feel the low temperatures and the rain, that welcomed him to the island when he arrived on a flight from Saint Dominico the day before. Hopefully for him, the weather for today would be great, therefore his rally could be celebrated on a public square where FKEM chairs would be all over the place. If Juncker wished an advice in furniture, he just needed to travel to the Republic of Fremet and he would get the best in Europe.
Jean-Claude left his hotel and hopped on a van that would take him to the place where the rally would be celebrated, a public square in the city centre where there was enough space for the stage and the people that wished to attend to his rally. The chairs and everything was ready, and when the van arrived, the European Progressive Alliance's candidate could see a large crownd waiting for him at the plaza. At the rally's start time, Queen Latifa's I know where I've been started to play and Juncker appeared on stage with the Fremetian EuroVoice winning star playing in the background.
"Good evening Trondheim as well as to our friends in Icholasen, Ruthund, Montenbourg, Gallorum and Europolis! Thank you very much for coming today and keeping track of my campaign around the European Union!
Ahead of starting with this rally, I wished to say some words about this country, about the Republic of Fremet. Because this country has always been welcoming to me, no matter when I came and no matter for how long I was going to be here. The first time I came here, I visited the FKEM's Furniture Materials Research Centre, where I could see and prove the nice quality the furniture 'Made in Fremet' has; and since I visited this country for the first time of my life, I have always believed that the European Union is really lucky to have Fremet as one of its members, and we are even more lucky to count with its personalities. But I also want to speak about Ruthund, a great country with a mysterious culture that always intrigues you, Montenbourg, whose citizens are always thinking on how to make their society better, Bricston, a newcomer to our Union which I am willing to explore and discover or Icholasen, that really needs an agreed solution with Commission mediation, something Fremet has been waiting for years. Let me sum up what I propose concerning the Union of Nicoleizian Soviet Republics, which is no other than a fair and equal mediation between both sides, including neutral political actors, until an agreed solution is reached. And believe me when I say that I won't take a rest until a solution is achieved.
Moving on to the rally's content, today I wanted to speak about one the Sustainability section of our Manifesto's Article II, 'Protecting our environment' as well as about the mismanagement of the European Union, something that concerns many in this country and that I have been able to check by myself, when some people have spoken to me on my hotel or in the park. I want to speak about the recent term we have had and that we are finishing after these elections: during its duration, we have only seen the Premier four times, two of them to do statements and the others, to propose bills to the European Council, which were the European Development Agency, which I support and find useful; and the European Union Budget. But what about the rest of their promises? Have they "ensured a successful end to the current crises"? Has Sophie Cikarová done something to "strengthen the economy of member states, increase employment, reduce supply chain length and reduce CO2 emissions"? Has she turned Europe into a "free and inclusive region"?
Of course, the answer to all of these questions is the same, no. And about their promises, all they know about it is that they existed, but never remembered or tried to accomplish them. That is where the main of this Union is at, the systematic unaccomplishment of promises from the elected candidates, than happens many times. When they get to their Commission seat, they put their feet on the table, try to be as much confortable as they can in their chair and that is everything for four months! To be honest, no European, no Fremetian deserves to have a disengaged leader that doesn't care about the main problems of this region. But many of the Europeans still remember my two terms as Internal Affairs Commissioner, and the compromise I made with Europe: not leaving anyone behind and serving it until I die. The Fremetians, those that didn't come to this rally and those that have come, also our friends from Montenbourg, Ruthund or Brickston watching this rally live thanks to technology, have my word: if I am elected as your Premier Commissioner, I will not stop working or caring about this Union. And the same applies to mismanagement: if we want an European Union that lets everything happen and just not cares about anything, then let's keep voting the same; but if we want an European Union that cares, that acts, then I am your best choice. And as a guarantee, I do promise to sign a public compromise to not stop working for this region until my term is over, and publishing it on the Commission webpage.
Moving on, today I am going also going to explain one of the sections in the European Progressive Alliance's manifesto, this one about Protecting our Environment and more exactly, about Sustainability. We have four different proposals about what we believe on concerning sustainability, and thus are: firstly, promoting longer lasting products that can be repaired, recycled and re-used. This is very easy to explain: what we are proposing for the European Green Deal, or maybe as an Act that gets into the Acquis Communautaire is to make companies compromise about the duration of their products, as well as the guarantee about thus being able to be repaired and recycled, even used by other people if its owner does not want it anymore. Secondly, as part of the European Green Deal we must finish and agree on this upcoming term, we are going to encourage member states to have more public transport services to reduce CO2 emissions; and we are doing this because it has been proved that if we stop using individual vehicles as much as we do now and start using public transport, CO2 emmissions decrease. But for this to happen, we need to compromise to a path of agreements, of common work to agree on a Green Deal in Bergen, Mennrimiak, that we are all happy with. That is the only way this union will work and so will the European Green Deal.
Thirdly, we will continue to develop the Eurorail project, exploring new expansions and services to cover much more countries and distance around the European Union; but I want to do some remarks about it, one of them being that Fremet or any country which is neither involved, nor interested won't pay a single Euro or cent to the project. The European Union needs to reform, to make those who want to benefit from pan-European projects pay for them and let the others pay what they want with their money. Some, of course, will say that everything I have said are lies and more lies, but you the Fremetians cannot pay for something they want somehwere else in Europe and that you are not getting any benefit from. But second, and this is linked with what I have said before: what happens with Mennrimiak, Nofoaga, Fremet, Icholasen or Gadalland and Aspern for example? They never get a benefit from the continental projects and they need to be represented and heard. That is why I am announcing a new proposal that is not in our manifesto: if I am elected Premier Commissioner, I promise to set up an EU- Non Continental states forum to have a better communication, promote a better management or strenthen ties between the Union and these countries I have mentioned. I do indeed believe on an European Union that does not leave anyone behind.
Going back to our sustainability proposals, here is the last one that would be discussed on that 'EU - Non Continental states forum' and that we want Gadalland, Nofoaga, Mennrimiak, Fremet and Icholasen to benefit from: we are going to explore new ways with non-continental countries, such as Mennrimiak, Gadalland & Aspern, Nofoaga or Fremet; to promote sustainable means of transport between their countries and the continent, but always with the support of member states and their request. The days when the European Union acted alone are over, and now more than ever before, we need to enhance cooperation and unity. We will explore any kind of alternative, from ferries to researching for a 0 emmissions fuel with the help of the European Development Act, and with its management either shared or totally owned by participating states. We need to look forward to including non-continental states into the EU's agenda, and this could be a great first step.
Ladies and gentlemen, kids from Fremet, Montenbourg, Ruthund, Gallorum, Brickston and Europolis; this election is key for the future of this union; and I want to warn you about the many lies you will hear during the upcoming days, with a tensioned political debate and no real proposals for the people. If you want mismanagement to be gone forever, if you want this Union to include non-continental states and strength ties with them, if you want a Commission that cares about Climate Change; then I am your candidate. I will work for the Europeans until the very end, I give you my word. Let's dream, let's do, let's succeed, together.
Good night and thank you very much!"

Rally 5 - Duxburian Union
13th October 2021
Dairghazburo
Visinting via hologram Leagio and Angleter, streaming online to all EU countriesJean-Claude Juncker arrived to Dairghazburo in the first flight of the morning from Trondheim, in order to do his firth rally. Coming to the Duxburian Union was always a pleasure, but there was always this uncertainty about how many people would attend to his rally. The Duxburian capital did not feel welcoming or beautiful, it was not designed for that, but rather cold and intimidating; something Juncker admired from the Duxburian cities. He arrived to his hotel, where his team and himself would prepare for one of the most important rallies on the campaing tour around the European Union, where he needed to win more voters if he wanted to have higher chances of winning a very divided election, in which second preferences would be key if nobody got the required majority to win the election without needing a second vote.
After everything was ready, the Spanish former Commissioner and now Premier candidate left his hotel and headed towards where the rally would be celebrated. On the way to the public square where it would take place, Juncker decided to read a touristic guide about the Duxburian Union, in order to know more about the country he had visited several times already. The van arrived, and Juncker waved the crowd that decided to attend his rally in his way to the stage, while In Your Eyes by The Weeknd played on the background. He got to the stage and the music stopped playing, finally his rally could start.
"Good morning Duxburian Union, and also to out friends following this rally thanks to my hologram in Angleter and Leagio! Thank you very much for coming today and being so involved with this campaign, as well as for deciding to come here and hear my proposals for the European Union.
But before I start, I wanted to speak about the major relevance southern European countries have for our Union, because they are often ignored or not consulted when the European Union starts projects that include a money-lease, something I am aware that many of you disagree with. Just as some orientative data, according the Duxburian Union gives 13,859,167,606.20 Euros to the budget, the second highest of the whole of the European Union; Angleter gives 8,558,606,447.40 Euros to the budget, which means that two of the nations that give the most to the budget are in Southern Europe, and while we just ignore them and play with the devil until we realise the risk for our Union it causes that one of these nations could leave, and completely blow up the European Union budget, its functionment or even how we believe the European Union should be ran. On the last election, the Duxburian people voted for the current Premier Commissioner, aiming for change and activity, demanding something different from the past terms; but they did not get anything back, just inactivity, no chage and no difference. It seems that every Premier Commissioner that wins an election becomes inactive. And when do the Duxburian Union citizens get what they demand? The answer for the past terms and that we now have the chance to revert is 'never'.
Today, I am going to talk about two topics than include indeed what the Duxburians have been aiming for during the past elections: change, activity and something different, as well as about the European Union I believe on. When this union was founded, our founders believed on diversity, on being united through it and working together with other people from Europe, leaving our differences apart and achieving great things. But all of that has dissapeared with the time, nobody else talks about this spirit, this aim, nobody. But why? Because their only aim is to let the European Union die and turn it into their personalist project, because they want to win at all costs. If any of you let them choose between a fairer union where the Duxburian Union, Angleter or Leagio were listened and we were all united, or a testimonial EU, they would choose the testimonial one; as they are not interested in uniting the region but making a profit form division, and we cannot allow that to happen.
Moving on, as you know I always try to speak about some section or article of the European Progressive Alliance's October 2021 Election Manifesto, and yes, I know the name is really long (The crowd laughs, so does Juncker) but its content is key if we want to change the European Union. And that is what we are going to talk about today, changing this union, which are defined in Section I of our manifesto, which is called 'Our European Union proposals', more exactly we will discuss the article named 'Modernising Europe'. But why have we chosen the word 'modernise' to name a whole article of our manifesto? Because that is what the Europeans are demanding, also the Duxburians, they are all demanding change and progress, they want more or less sovereignty, they want the European Union to work differently from how it does right now. And we are making four different proposals within this article to modernise our region: First and foremost, We will push forward a Constitutional reform by sections, negotiating and listening to everyone’s voices: European Councillors, leaders and citizens. As a proud European, but also someone that understand the many requests of the European society, we need a massive change to our constitution, which adapts it today's thoughts and views about the EU, with every single article being over the table. To do that, the European Commission will first start a dialogue with the European leaders and the Council in order to organise meetings and sessions to hear from our member states and Councillors. When many say that 'the EU does not listen to its citizens or member states', they are right, we do not, but if it happens the same as it happened this term, then they will not listen to you either. And what is my personal aim for this European Constitutional amendment? To have, at least, amended a section of the European Constitution before the end of the term. If I am elected, these four months will be instense but I will try my best to accomplish this compromise as I have always done.
Then, I am going to do an attempt to find the perfect balance between sovereignty and integration by hearing member states’ governments. As many around Europe, and you too know, I stand for cooperation between member states as well as in supranational level decisions taken by the EU; but we need to change this concepts a slightly. Many member states complain about how the union works, about their representation or their decision-taking power, the Council's inactivity, that I will mention soon in a future rally; or all of the things I have mentioned. And the European Commission, with the advices of the EU's member states, needs to find a balance and make changes if needed to integrate as much people as possible to this project. Many people doesn't believe on how the union works, how it acts, but if we bring changes to our region, if we work united in diversity, many of them will start realising that this project has more to offer than they thought it had. And finally, I will be opening the European Court of Justice’s reform debate, to agree specific measures and new reforms that can guarantee a better judiciary system for the European Union, and I want every member state, incluiding the Duxburian Union, Angleter and Leagio to have a voice on this and send the Commission their feedback. If we keep ignoring important countries, we will fail to achieve our goals.
Ladies and gentlemen from the Duxburian Union, Angleter and Leagio, if you are sick of being ignored, if you want this union to change and turn to a better place where you are included, if you want an active, responsible and different commission, if you want our union to be united in diversity again, then I am the best choice for this election. I have served as Internal Affairs Commissioner twice, never ever rested when the EU needed me, and if I am elected, this time will not be different. We need to dream, to aim high; to do, and once we have made all of this, we will succeed together.
Thank you very much and have a nice day!

Rally 6 - Inimicus
19th October 2021
Portus Inimici
Visiting via hologram North Diessen, United Duchies and GaniaAfter a few days break, to rest after the debate and prepare the campaign's last days, Jean-Claude Juncker went back to the road and arrived to Inimicus, one of his last stops of the campaign. With the rally at Portus Inimici, there were just 2 rallies left: one in Reitzmag, that he would held in the capital city of the Eurasian country and the campaign closing one in the capital of the European Union, the Free City of Europolis. The polls now projected he is due to win the election, but he didn't want to believe anything until it became real, so he didn't give the polls many importance.
Juncker decided to arrive by train to Portus Inimici, using the rail connection from Telum after arriving in the Eurorail, one of his star projects. It worked well for him to take the train from Madrid, where he arrived from Luxembourg, where he lived. It was fast and comfortable enough to prepare a good rally. The news were spreading fast, and the attack in North Diessen did worry him, more did the Reutland separatists. Of course, that should be a topic to speak about, and even more important to make his stance clear after the Premier Commissioner released a statement. Every candidate was socially pressured and by thus, mandated, to make their stances clear so people knew who they could trust for the next four months. Hours later, the Spanish candidate arrived to where the rally would be held, and Grace Kelly by MIKA started to play as it marked the start of the rally.
"Good evening Portus Inimici, as well as to our friends in North Diessen, the United Duchies and Gania! Thank you very much for coming to this rally, no matter if I am there in person or just as an hologram. It's a pleasure to be here today.
Just before we start, I would like to send my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the cruel attacks in Het Goor, the capital city of North Diessen. As a candidate, as someone who loves your country, I want to tell you these hard times will end someday, and North Diessen will go back to what it was, a great, peaceful country. And we will speak about what is happening there later, as I cannot ignore what is happening and how the European Union shouldn't answer to this challenge to the sovereignty of a member state, and the same applies for any other territory in Europe defying their country's sovereignty by violent means. Violence is never the way to achieve your goals, and I want to send a message to those terrorists. I don't care if you come after me, if you try to kill me after what I am going to say, but you don't scare anybody, you will not get Europe's help to achieve your goals. Stop killing people and cease your attempts to make more damage to your country.
And why have I brought this topic up to start the rally? Well, you know that the current Premier Commissioner believes in national sovereignty, even she defended to stay away from the Copala City's affair, something I do agree with. During the debate, there was a question about the sovereingty boundaries each candidate had, and Sofie Čikarová answered the following: "the EU shouldn't concern itself with the internal affairs of its member states"; "the EU should also not aim to establish a unified foreign policy". Something many could agree with, I am sure some of you watching from the United Duchies for example could. But now, when North Diessen requests Inimican help to tackle this terrorists, something normal and that the EU, according to the Premier's own words, should respect, the Premier Commissioner changes her criteria and says: "I also call to any outside actors to refrain from conducting military operations in the region without prior consultation with the rest of the European Community and to immediately cease any ongoing military operations in the region that were not consulted with the rest of the European Community." For those that yet don't understand: Ms. Čikarová aims for a unified foreign policy and concerns itself with the internal affairs of its members. Is this really the European Commission we want? The one that hides the truth, does nothing for our region and contradicts itself? In my opinion, this is not what Europe deserves, nor do the Diessan people.
With that said, let's move on to the main topic of this rally. Today, we are going to speak about Chapter I of the European Progressive Alliance Election Manifesto, also known as Ms. Muzhare's and my agenda. And I am going to focus on the first section, which is called "Modernising Europe". There are 4 proposals on this section, and I am going to make an attempt to explain all of them as much as possible today, so the Inimicans, the Diessans, the Duchians and the Ganians can have some clear ideas about what I propose for them. Firstly, I propose to push forward a Constitutional reform by sections, negotiating and listening to everyone’s voices: European Councillors, leaders and citizens; something we do need. Let's be honest, Europe has a constitution that disengages many, the same happens with its structure. When you ask a Mennrimian about their opinion on the union, he is likely to answer this: "they focus too much on the continent and leave us apart". Why does that happen? Because we have had just a few Commissions that actually cared about what happened in the other side of the ocean. That is, ladies and gentlemen, a structural problem. But let's go a step further: if you ask a Duchian about their sovereignty, most of them believe the EU should have some sort of limit, a Spaniard says the EU works fine but needs minor changes. The truth is that the current European Constitution does not have a boundary and thus it legislates on everything. That's why I propose to set up an agreed, reasonable boundary in the Constitution, and such will be reformed by sections. Every section will mean a new negotiation, new brainstormings and opinion sharing, before taking the amendment to a discussion and then to the Council for its passing. And by the way, I am setting myself a goal: I aim to reform one section before the end of my term.
Some of you might be curious about what we are going to speak about in those talks about the European Constitution, and the answer is so simple you will not believe it: about everything. If the European Union wants to move forward, if we want to update ourselves, to imrpove the region we live in, to include those non-continental countries, we will then be unable to afford taboos. As a result, that means we will speak about how Europe works, and many countries will surely bring up their concerns: Inimicus, for example, will show concern about the budget, Reitzmag about piracy on the Caspian. And every single concern will be heard, considered and treated. If we want an united Europe, if we want a long-lasting Constitution, we will need to hear and respect everybody, along with reaching important agreements.
My third proposal is the perfect balance between sovereignty and integration by hearing member states’ governments. Before I get to explain this one, I want to make something clear: the EPA and myself stands for cooperation between member states as well as in supranational level decisions taken by the EU. But we need to make a difference between those areas we should let the European Union decide, like in Human Rights; and those that it should not touch, like a joint foreign policy or concerning with the internal affairs of its states unless they request it. And this also has a deep relation with the Constitutional reform we are proposing: sovereingty boundaries means more engagement with Europe. And finally, we will open the European Court of Justice’s reform debate. During this term, we have seen a very inactive, even inexistant European Court of Justice; and something needs to be done with it. The ECoJ needs new functions, but also to become active and effective. That is why, to my point of view, I consider we should open the debate and get a new ECoJ that works correctly.
And now, ladies anf gentlemen, we have reached the end of this rally, which has been very entertaining for me and also helpful. Today, I have been able to explain my proposals to change this Union and make it better than it is right now. But I need you to trust, and overall, to be aware of the challenges we will be facing for the next months. If we continue to have this kind of Commission, be sure we will not be able to succeed, not even to move forward. But if you vote for me, if you decide to believe in this humble and honest project, you won't be disillusioned. Soon, the polls will open, and I hope this time, we can get the European Union we deserve.
Thank you very much and good night!"
