Non-Legislative Proposal 3/2022This proposal is voting on Friday 1st of July in the General Diet. If it is aprooved it will be voted by the people in a referendum, which must be, between the 15th of July and the 16th of August.

Plenary General Diet 1/7/2022
The last ordinary plenary session before the start of the politicians' holidays was held on 1 July 2022. The government and the parties brought to it the full load of legislation they had been accumulating for some time.
Journal of sessions:
9:30: The plenary begins with the closing of the 1h debate on constitutional reform. Governor General Jose Miguel Orato appears, defending the yes vote for the last time.
10:30am: Voting begins
Approved by 226 votes in favour, 69 against and 5 abstentions.
11:00 The plenary continues with the debate and vote, on the proposal of the Liberal Party, on the so-called "Enterprise Law" (Proposal Ordinary Law 14/2022). The Liberal spokesman, Hugo Darío Mendoza, comes out to defend the law.
12:00 Voting begins
Approved by 149 votes in favour, 146 against and 5 abstentions.
12:15 The Liberal spokesperson requests a recess in the parliamentary debate. It was rejected as there were no further items on the agenda and the sitting was adjourned.
The government announces a referendum to approve the reform of the Constitution on 24 July.
