Opening Rally - Inimicus
3rd July 2022
Portus Inimici, Inimicus
Visiting via hologram North Diessen and the United DuchiesAnother day had started in Portus Inimici, the sea capital of the Empire of Inimicus. However, the citizens knew that something special would happen, something they could have been waiting for a year, approximately. Jean-Claude Juncker was runing once again in a Commission election, once more for the same position that resisted to become his: Premier Commissioner. Juncker arrived to the Inimican city a few days earlier, to explote the town while he prepared the rally with excitement. Meanwhile, his team was setting up the stage, the lights, the music... everything their 'boss' needed to shine once more over a stage, even if he was not a singer.
The crowd started to gather around the port of the Inimican coastal town, where the team thought it would be better to held a rally at. The Junckyatch had arrived the day before, so now everything was ready. The time arrived, and Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes started to play, while the crowd started to clap at the rhythm of the song. A presentator appeared on stage: Ladies and gentlemen, he is back. Please welcome your maaaaaan, JEAN-CLAUDEEEE JUNCKEEEER!. He then left the stage, and some pyrotechnics started to come of as Juncker appeared on a screen, coming out of his yatch and waving the crowd until he finally arrived to the stage. He waved the crowd once again, the music came to a stop; and there he was: a stage, a microphone, and a crowd.
"Good afternoon Portus Inimici, and also hello to our friends in North Diessen and the United Duchies, as well as for those watching this rally's livestream on YouTube and the many other choices social media offers! I can say it louder if you want, but not clearer: Jean-Claude Juncker is BACK.
Now, let's get into the matter that we came here for. As you might already know, I want to become your and every European's Premier Commissioner. This is no joke, ladies and gentlemen, that position is the highest of the European Commission and, therefore, someone who is committed, prudent and knows how to handle the region should occupy that place, common sense after all! However, these four months have been... er, how to say this... different from what you or anyone would expect from a Premier Commissioner. I remember Corinna's debate in which she said that Mr. Biden would keep being that sleepy man he was; and even if I was aware of the many qualities of Ms. Larsen, I did not know or I could never imagine that predicting the future was one of those... (The crowd started to laugh and then applauded) However, we all wish him a good retirement and I can say that being retired is sometimes better than being in politics, so he will have a nice time.
Nevertheless, we are not speaking about him at all today, but about the candidate I have just heard I am running against. His name is Calvin Kühnert, which could perfectly be the cheap replacement of Calvin Klein that you would find on a Spanish street market, that are amazing by the way; and his slogan is "Use the Budget". Okay, hold on there for a second: there is many work in the European Union left to do, and the Solomonic solution he proposes is using the budget? (Juncker opens his arms, to pretend he is like some kind of Messiah) 'Hello people of Europe, I am Calvin Klein, I mean Kühnert, and if we use all the budget we will save this region, just listen to me, I am smart and ready to make the highest budget you have ever seen! Vote for me, your new God and saviour!' (Juncker closes his arms, the crowd laughes and applauds) I do agree with him that we need to raise the budget, the European Development Agency needs more funds and if I am a Commissioner, I will guarantee that; but I want you to know how of a bad idea it is to get all of the European Union's problem sorted with money for everyone. (Juncker clears his voice) Alexa, what is the worse solution for all the EU problems? 'Using the budget'. See? Even Alexa says it!
(The crowd erupted in a thunderstorming applause)
Let me continue reading through his four platform points, and despite not having revealed mines, I swear I have got more than he does. The second thing he proposes continuing the Biden's sleepy -- excuse me, I meant "reformist" -- spirit and reforming the ECoJ selection method and the Council, making it proportional to population and allowing several representatives, because we all know that changing the way our judges are elected and getting more people inside the European Council is what both institutions need to become even more active! (Juncker then gets out a big poster with "SARCASM" written on it, the crowd laughs and applauds) I have quite a few rallies left to do, and I will talk and reveal my proposals later on, but this is definitely what we do not need. Nonetheless, this is a very Duchian thing, because let's make a trip to the past and remember what the United Duchies has given us as their candidates: Peter Leeson, who had some sort of an obsession with me and pretty sure he still does, who was the worst EPA candidate and who proposed, and this is no joke, "Europe-wide referendums to repeal or amend legislation if at least 1% of EU population equivelent signed a petition"; Desai, who also had an obsession with the EPA, shouted "NO, NO, NO!" on every rally and, within his many proposals that did not work with Biden, and would not work in Europe, we had "reducing the red tape and Euro-Dictats transforming the EU from a top down organisation dictating what nations to do to a Union of Co-operating nations"; and then Sarah Porter, who had "no instances or ideology apart from national sovereignty, and wanted to continue Biden's work". Sounds familiar, right? Cause all Duchian candidates are, more or less, the same. If you rejected them in the past, it's time to reject their fourth now.
(The crowd laughed massively and erupted in a strong applause)
Third... well, he will need to explain himself better cause I do not understand the third point, I believe it is about reducing bureaucracy and then alloting certain amount of money depending of your country's population, and surprisingly, wealth. And I thank him for this, because this gets me to the fourth point of his platforms and I hope that the people from Gadalland, Nofoaga, Lusitania and Vettonia are hearing me and have read his platforms. Mr. Kühnert believes he has the right to call 'developing nations' to these countries just because they do not meet a standart that himself has set, which is a 'GDP per capitas under 20,000 Euros'. I have had enough silly things for today, and I will now interpellate Calvin on this: who do you think you are to say who is a developing nation in this European Union under a standard nobody but you set? No nation in this region should be told what they are, no nation should be treated as poor on this region cause that is a huge insult to their people, to their Government, and more importantly, to their intelligence. Europeans, hear me out well, I swear to God I will never say that any nation of this region is poor, and I will not allow anyone to say so. Let those nations ask for help if they need it, and do not come in a messiah style to save them when they have not even asked for it.
(A massive applause took place)
Ladies and gentlemen, we have sadly come to an end of this rally, but it is, at the same time, the beginning of something bigger: a new campaign around Europe with me. It is time to stand up, to finally take on the changes Europe need, to show everyone what the power of Europe is, and I hope that I have convinced you to support me today. We can do this together, and I am the candidate the EU needs to evolve, to change, to become a better place than it already is.
Thank you very much for your attention, and have a nice day!"

- The European Court of Justice will be reformed so if any justice is deemed inactive, the Chief Justice could remove him and appoint another justice that had run for the election but hadn't been elected. If there are no extra candidates to choose, an application would be opened and the Court would vote on them.
- Raising the budget, providing the European Development Agency with more funds but without overcharging the budget, leaving enough funds for other agencies, the FIA and to return to member states.
- The European Council reform will be started during this term, opening a dialogue process with the Council Speaker to give priority to several measures that, under his view, the Council requires.
- I will personally protect and guarantee the cultural and economic sovereignty of every member state, that means the European Union will protect every member state culture unless found in an UDoHR violation and will not interfere on their economies by imposing laws and regulations that could change their economic system.
- The European Commission will resume works on achieving an European Green Deal that can be used as a guideline for national plans, or as nations' plan.
- I will make the European Union mean something, that means the EU will not lose relevance or power under my supervision. The Unions needs to be the necessary nexus between the multiple diversities of Europe and that place where freedoms can be protected.
- A common agricultural fund will be created by the European Commission in order to help and aid our farmers and other primary sectors like fishing.
- The European Commission will open a Conference on the Future of Europe in the European Council in order to listen to the visions and thoughts of what the EU should become in the next years.

Rally 2 - Gadalland and Aspern
5th July 2022
Hemberdale, Gadalland And Aspern & Port Beauharnais, Nofoaga
Hologram rally for NofoagaThe Caribbean, the forgotten part of the European Union for so many except when candidates had to campaign. Of course, the Caribbean people knew that when the campaign started, every candidate would soon rush into their islands, asking them to vote for more sovereignty for member states, calling them poor in front of them... Things they "surely loved", but then, being forgotten by those who won the election once more. Nonetheless, Juncker was different, he could feel the love of the Caribbean people. This time, he decided to do a little stopover at Nofoaga and then head to Gadalland and Aspern, one of the few countries he hadn't visited yet.
In Port Beauharnais, the capital city of Nofoaga, he walked around the streets, where he could interact with the nice Nofoagan people as well as observing the rebuilding of the island after the tragic volcanic eruption. Juncker took the required time with everyone, listening to their suggestions, their needs and more importantly, about their concerns. They feared "being ignored and excluded from Europe once again, not being taken into account". Juncker, in contrast, told them to keep trusting in Europe and him, as he would "put the Caribbean in the place they deserved to be within the Union". That was, mostly, the major concern in the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
An hour later he departed Nofoaga, he arrived into Hemberdale. Sertians seemed to be extremely excited about his visit, with quite a few waiting at the airport "Arrivals" gate. He waved the crowd, took some photos, signed some autographs and got into a black van that took him to where the summit would take place. When he arrived and got off the van, the crowd cheered and applauded the EPA's candidate, who got on the stage with Kokomo by The Beach Boys playing on the background.
"Good evening Sertian people and to our common friends, the Nofoagan people watching us via the 'Junckologram' live from Port Beauharnais! It is a huge pleasure to finally be here. I once promised I would visit your country, and once again, I have delivered what I have promised. Thank you very much for this welcoming, and now, let's get into business!
(The crowd cheered)
I would like to begin speaking about delivering the promises I make. You know, when a candidate goes all around the European Union campaigning to become their Premier Commissioner or their Internal Affairs Commissioner, they have to write down some platforms, or as I like to call them, said candidate's promises. However, when that candidate gets your vote, he ignores what he had on his agenda and either becomes inactive, does something way different to what he proposed or, in some really strange cases, the candidate actually delivers. That is why I am here to tell you that voting for Jean-Claude Juncker means delivering promises, voting for the European Progressive Alliance means that we deliver to the Europeans what we have in our manifesto and platforms. Of course, there will always be some reluctant people to believing this, so I have brought some personal example, like Eurorail. We also brought Europe Day, which we will celebrate in 20 days from now, I promised Czech people a trip to their country on my first term, I did it too. This Eurogroup is, therefore, a dictionary synonym for delivering.
(The crowd applauded Juncker's words)
Moreover, I want to address another problem that also the Nofoagans told me about, and that is distance to the European continent. Believe me when I say that if I had the necessary means to move an entire continent and get you all closer to Europe, I would; although not everyone can tell you the same thing. Spoiler, now they will. (The crowd laughed) Both of you, Nofoagans and Sertians, have told me and contacted me with the same issue, and that is the conception Europe has about you, how they have systematically forgotten about your existance and left you apart, even if you are as European as someone from Czech Slavia or the United Kingdom. Furthermore, when candidates come here, to this beautiful region, and they have no idea about your problems, they try to make things up, but what do they do? Instead of trying to help you, instead of listening to your problems, they come here and insult you. Some days ago I was talking to my friend Herbert, who is here today. His question to me, that I have no answer to, is: "why are some Europeans so obsessed with GDP?" He has a point, why do not we just let the Caribbean people ask for our help rather than come and assist them even if they do not want. Don't they have a Government to speak on their behalf in front of us? My Caribbean friends, set these words I am going to say in stone if you wish to, but with me as your Premier Commissioner, you will have the relevance you deserve to have in our region, and you will not be systematically insulted. You just have a different lifestyle, and the sooner we accept it, the better we will do for this amazing region.
(The crowd erupted in cheers and a thunderstorming applause)
That said, I would like to speak about one of my proposals included in my platforms, the eighth one to be exact. Recently, we have seen how many people have started to complain about the European Union, but in a postive way. They say we need to be clear on what we want for the EU of the future, and how we want to do it. As someone who is running for Premier Commissioner, I must address those suggestions, and that is why I am proposing the creation of a Conference on the Future of Europe in the European Council. Before someone criticises this idea, let me enumerate the reasons why this is benefitial for you: first, your country gets a direct voice in this conference through its European Councillor, that means every single country in our Union will be able to arise their concerns, give ideas, suggest, propose... We are not leaving anyone behind if we do it in the Council, and that is what takes me to my second point. My dear guests, if we want to keep the European Union for our future generations, we all need to be involved in this Conference, which will put over the table the flaws and issues of our current alliance.
Our regional motto is "United in Diversity", and it is worth reminding it from time to time, because some seem to forget about it when they propose their policies. This union was created to bring Europeans together, closer to each other; not to make them feel even more distanced with their neighbours and other countries around the globe. There will obviously be a diversity of thoughts in that conference, but that is what this Union has always been about: being able to get major agreements mixing different positionings, establishing a transparent, complete dialogue that never left anyone behind, and that is the true power of Europe. This conference will not only help to bring us closer again, to go back to that founding spirit we had years ago. It will help us to build the Union of the future, the project for our children and grandchildren. And how will it work? The European Commission will do a survey on major questions once a forum in the European Council is opened, then presenting those results to the Council while initial discussions take place. Not only your governments get a voice, but you the European citizens get a voice. The main goal of this conference is to come out with some outlines, ideas, to move towards the Union we all want for the years to come.
(The crowd applauded Juncker's words)
All in all, that is what Europe is about: cooperation, dialogue, respect. Those are some of the many European values we share, and which we will keep advancing with in the future if you vote for the European Progressive Alliance. Europe should not take the risk to choose someone who believes money is the solution to all your problems and make some EU citizens feel insulted. We need moderation, good judgement and activity for this Commission term, which will be key for European history. And if you vote for me, apart from not regretting it, you will see how I deliver, how I become one of the most active Premier Commissioners this region has had. Let's unveil the Power of Europe.
Thank you very much, and good night!
(A huge standing ovation accompanied with cheers took place, with Juncker waving the crowd)

Rally 3 - United Kingdom
8th July
Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Visiting via hologram Ineland, Fremet and both IcholasensIt was yet another campaign day for Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Progressive Alliance candidate for Premier Commissioner, and who had previously been the Internal Affairs Commissioner of the European Union running with the same Eurogroup. This time, it was one of the constituent countries of the United Kingdom, Scotland, where Juncker would visit the capital city and give a rally on one of the most symbolic locations of it. The rally would take place at Calton Hill, and Juncker was going to be joined by a very special guest: the Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon. That morning, he met with the First Minister to speak about several topics and also about the rally both were going to held.
The time arrived, and a massive crowd from all around the United Kingdom had gathered at the famous landmark. Juncker and Sturgeon arrived on time, walking up to the top of the hill, greeting the public there shaking their hands and taking selfies with them. Both were introduced by an off-voice, and the Skye Boat Song playing on the background. Both got on the stage and Juncker left Nicola speak first:
"Good evening Scotland, good evening Europe!
It is a huge honour for me to be standing here, next to the candidate that I endorse to become our next Premier Commissioner, Jean-Claude Juncker. He is not a simple man, not another sleepy politician, not even someone who only wants to make money. Europe is the complete opposite to that, with his commitment, his humble, honest behaviour and his will of forming a better European Union than the one we have now. And here, in Scotland, we love that kind of leaders, that kind of politicians that want the best for the people, for their businesses, that will guarantee human rights all across the region without any excemptions. We, the Scottish people, are thankful for being taken into account, as I guess everyone that lives on this country is.
Scotland, even if my speech on this rally will be brief, I would like to ask you for a favour. When the European Commission elections begin, we all need to defend this man and get our country to vote for him. This is not only a message for my beloved citizens, but also for every single inhabitant of the United Kingdom: if we do not get this country to vote for Juncker, there is no chance Europe will be even more damaged than it is now. But, let's get Jean-Claude to convince you first... Lads, please welcome the man, the myth... Jean-Claude Juncker!"
(Nicola and Jean-Claude kissed eachother's cheeks, while the crowd applauded and the EPA's party anthem played on the background. Nicola stood where Juncker was, and the Spaniard waved the crowd and started to deliver his speech)
"Good evening Edinburgh, good evening Scotland, good evening United Kingdom! It is amazing to be here, to visit your awesome country today and give you the opportunity to hear my proposals in person. I would have wished to have time to visit some other countries my hologram is visiting today, such as Ineland, Fremet and both Icholasens, cause any Nicoleizian has the right to hear what a candidate offers to the Union as you all do.
Before we start with the proposals I am going to explain here today, I would like to speak about something that concerns me, and that is the increasing disinterest about European affairs from the Commissioners that we, the Europeans, got to choose. I do not know if you are aware yet, there is someone going around the Union speaking about spending billions of Euros, because this is a key term. Whoever is elected will have the chance to distribute the European money for a whole year, but will also have to deal with several inheritted problems from this term, such as the huge inactivity from the European Commission, the need of substantial reforms in our Union that will clearly decide its future. Two days ago, I visited Gadalland and Aspern and I remembered that I am a Commissioner that delivers the promises I make. Today, I would like to remind you about another of my many atributes, which is being a hard-working politician. I do not know if you do remember my times as Commissioner, but I am one of the most active Commissioners ever in the Commission's history. I am not only a guarantee of delivery, but also the man that will change Europe top-down, because he will be active. If you want someone that will give a new perspective to this common project, that protects it and takes appropiate care of it, then I am your candidate.
(The crowd applauded Juncker's words)
Thus, it is time to get the proposals over the table and explain them. The first proposal I would like to explain everyone here today is the sixth of my platforms, which is 'making the European Union mean something'. Even if that sentence might seem void and just like a ridicolous proposal that I have included to enlarge my agenda, it is not the case of this candidacy. During the last year or so, we have seen how many pro-sovereignty candidates have emerged from some specific nations, asking for more and more competences for their national governments while leaving the European Union as a testimonial institution, some kind of powerless structure without the ability to pass laws or to protect people's rights. I have heard some regional politicians asking the EU to abolish the right to a free marriage, so they can ban LGTBIQA+ people marriages. Is this the European Union that we want, where you would not be able to marry the person you love, where working for it would make no sense at all? Absolutely not. That is why, if I am elected, I am able to compromise myself today and here, in front of my friend Nicola and the people from 4 different countries of this Union, that the EU will not lose power or relevance under my supervision. Some will ask for a reasoning of this decision, and I am going to provide it before they do: the European Union was concieved to be the nexus between all the region's member states, from those in the other side of the ocean to the ones in the border with Asia. What is the point of it if we blow up that nexus? We need unity in diversity, not more borders for our huge variety of cultures, languages and traditions. A vote for me is a vote for unity, freedom, delivery and activity.
(A thunderstorming applause took place at Calton Hill)
The second proposal I would like to outline here is my seventh on the platforms that were published a few days ago. If Europe needs to do something, that is helping its people, and more importantly, being able to help them by having a strong economy and a strengthened funds availability. On January 23rd, the nation whose candidate is telling you we now need to spend money to solve all the problems our region has, managed to decrease the contributions percentage, and it was an European Progressive Alliance Councillor and my Eurogroup chairman, Donald Tusk, the one that submitted the amendment to revert that. They only did not want to help the people out there, they also wanted to make the European Union less available to fund itself properly. Of course, the EPA thinks the opposite to those people, and apart from raising the budget, we are proposing a common agricultural fund. We are going to invest several millions of Euros to help the people from all around the Union that work in the primary sector, either as a farmer or a fisher, to carry on with their businesses. We know one of the paths our Union has to take, and we must try our best to do it as soon as possible and as better as we can. And I am going to make another promise, if I am elected, I will take this initiative to the Council before the budget, and it will receive funds during the 2022-23 economic year. Proposals like this, to help the European people, are the reason why we defended keeping the same contributions, and why we will defend it until the very end.
(An applause took place)
But now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to say goodbye to all of you. However, before we leave, I would like to remind you how crucial every single vote will be. Any wrong choice for Europe would mean an immediate disaster, so be aware of who is the best candidate for each seat. We, the EPA, have an amazing team running for the 3 seats up for an election this time, and I hope you give us the amazing chance to prove what we can do when we run this region, when we release the true power of Europe. Thank you very much, and good night!"
(The crowd cheered and applauded Juncker, who waved the crowd alonside Nicola. The rally ended some minutes after)

Rally 4 - Duxburian Union
9th July 2022
DairghazburoJean-Claude Juncker arrived at the Duxburian Union, a country that he had had several difficulties when trying to connect with in his campaigns. However, his agenda being clearer, realistic and moderate, and the advantage of experience, have him some extra knowledge about how to treat the Duxburians, who knew him pretty well. He knew what he had to do, he just needed to keep his line and exact about the proposals he wanted to push forward if he got the Duxburians' trust and vote.
He and his team arrived to the place that was holding the rally, where a large crowd had gathered, with their origin being as diverse as the Duxburian Union itself. Trumpets by Jason Derulo played as Juncker made his way to the crowd, cheered by the crowd and waving the attendants, shaking their hands. He then applauded them back, the song ended and he took the floor with a single objective. Convicing one of the most important nations to vote for him.
"Good evening Duxburian Union, and thank you for your warm welcome! Before I start, I would also like to say hello to the people from Yosai and Reitzmag, countries we are visiting through our campaign hologram; as well as to the poeple watching it through the livestream my team has organised. It is an enormous priviledge to be in your country today.
Throughout these months, the Duxburian Union sentiments have been ignored by an European Commission that has done nothing for change, whose members have not accomplished most of the promises they made. You once aimed for an European Union that was united in diversity, but all these new commissioners brought was less union and more borders between us. You might be asking yourselves right now: 'why should I trust you, Mr. Juncker?', or, 'why should we trust any candidate for the European Commission at all?' Well, it is about the person running rather than the Eurogroup they run with. When I was the Internal Affairs Comisssioner of this region, I delivered what I promised and the people of Europe, like you or any Yosaian watching this rally right now, could trust me and send me their requests if they needed it. Europe does not need commissioners that promise a lot and do nothing, they need fully committed people that we know they will work for us, the European citizens, and for our interests. Sadly, there is only one candidate running for thimeosition that fulfills those things, and that is me. If you expect another candidate to do this, you can stop think about it, that is not a possibility. Just look at Biden, he is the perfect example of what to avoid, a candidate that promises a lot but then does nothing.
(An applause took place)
But now, let's get into what matters, the proposals I would love to implement during these four months in the European Union. Today, I would like to explain and speak about two different proposals that I have on my agenda. First of all, I would like to speak about the one that, in my opinion, matters the most to all the Duxburians, and that is guaranteeing the cultural and economic sovereignty of every member state. Many people usually understand this as removing power from the European Union, but the fact is that before these sort of candidates appeared, we all lived in peace and harmony and the Union did not have these problems at all. My first compromise is that no more European integration will take place during these four months if it depends of me, so we can make the European Union to mean something for everyone, protect its citizens' interests and also your cultural and economic sovereignty. If you fear that I am going to propose pieces of legislation that will change the way your Government runs the economy, or your culture to westernalise it, you are wrong. A Juncker Premiership will not only protect these things, but also the Duxburian citizens interests in the European Union. And, to be honest with you, I am the only candidate who is running for Premier that has guaranteed this very critical point, so if you want this things to be protected by the European Commission, then I am the only choice you have for this to become a thing.
(A big cheer and another applause happened in the place where the rally was being held)
Secondly, I would like to speak about the European budget, that will have to be done in this term that will begin as soon as this election finishes. Let me be very clear with what I would like to do with the European budget, as someone has not yet got the message clearly or just does not understand my English accent, which could be comprensible at some point (the crowd laughes). If I win this election, the budget will be increased, but I will not risk to give a exact number of how many millions will be given to the European Development Agency, however it will be enough to give aid to big projects, keep the Future Initiative Allotment and keep the budget stable and safe from risks. The last time I looked at the data reported by the European Central Bank, the budget would now rise up to 102,131,129,244.37 euros. Therefore, I can promise at least 35 billion euros for the EDA without being wrong, nevertheless I am not a fan of doing maths without the whole data available. What is the point of promising 60 billion euros without knowing what the final contribution amount will be? If we want to promise billions, we need to set a minimum, and then time will tell. During this campaign I have defended the necessity of good judgement when running for a Commission seat, and it is also one of my values. Therefore, I will keep it until the very end of my political career, by not promising things that I will then not be able to accomplish because of the situation or because it would be damaging for the European Union.
(A thunderstorming applause took place)
Ladies and gentlemen, we are now getting to the end of this rally, but I would like to thank you for hearing what I have got to offer. I have got a message for the people of Azrekko, to whom I promise that the European Commission will be willing to help them if they need more funds from the EU to fund their project, and to the Duxburians, I am the candidate that will protect everything you have fought so hard to keep as it was for years and years. We can achieve these things, and I hope that you choose to unveil the Power of Europe, that you choose the alternative to the drift we have had to bear for these months of inaction. You have the chance to change that, and I trust you will.
Thank you very much, and good night!"
(A massive applause took place, with Juncker waving the crowd. The rally ended)
