Recent History
Noctoria used to be a Monarchy known for oppressing minorities. The crown had an empire in the south and the west, that is no longer existant. After the monarchy got overthrown a democratic government ruled for half a century.
The problem with this Democratic Government is that it was puppetted by corporations, to the point where one Corporation (Lead by Regalia Bilson) sweeped in and declared itself the government. being the leading weapons selling company, there was little to no resistance

Geographical
Noctoria is a temperate land, along the coast. it is sorrounded by the nations
(not player controlled) of Javed, Graston, Thayle, Azir, Makabath and Mostof. Noctoria claims governance of these lands, and have been trying to regain them after losing it when the monarchy was overthrown.

Government and Nation Living
Noctoria is an opressive Corporate Police State Dictatorship. Anyone who opposes the government's interests is Jailed- if lucky. The rich generally have more rights than anyone else, and some even get granted half-governance of small areas.
except those who were alive in the days before the Dictatorship, Most Citizens of Noctoria don't know what they're missing- they think that Noctoria is not too hard on them, and that they are the land of liberty.
