Statement - Spanish Military Deployment & New Equipment for 2021

The Spanish Government has been negotiating with the Commonwealth of Leagio in order to keep security and increase the cooperation between both nations when it comes to the military. As part of the "Plan de Cooperación Atlántica - Atlantic Cooperation Plan", Leagioan Army will be trained in the city of Revo by Spanish officials and the Spanish Army will have access and permission to use Port Hilson military base. The Leagioan Government has also been invited to request any presence in Spain as part of this cooperation plan.

Along with that, the Spanish Army, composed by the Ejército de Tierra, the Ejército del Aire and the Marina are continuing their foreign missions in Inimicus and Nofoaga. Concerning Inimicus, this year a joint military training will take part as signed in the Madrid Pact in Spain this year. On Nofoaga, the military presence on the country will stay the same unless the Nofoagan Government requests the opposite. Also, we have received the Airbus A400-M which will be parked on Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) and will fly under the Nofoagan flag.

Lastly, the Spanish Army has bought new equipment which will enter operation between the first and 2nd trimester of the year. We are also looking forward to a common project with the United Duchies, further details will be given soon.

Statement - Concerning Foreign Embassies

The Spanish Government met last Friday in the weekly cabinet meeting. As a result, it was proposed by the President, D. Jesús Aguilar, to move the embassies into Madrid and close the ones being used in Antequera. The proposal was approved, and we are now going to start the procedures to move as many embassies as possible to Madrid. Still, the Spanish Government wishes to make clear that any country which refuses moving their embassy to Madrid will be able to keep their embassy in the city of Nueva Antequera.

Concerning the last news from the Union of Syndicates

After the breaking news from the Union of Syndicates of a huge crowd running towards the airport and trying to book flights with Spain as their final destination, the Kingdom of Spain has decided to take the following measures until the last flight from the Union of Syndicates, expected to land at Adolfo Suárez - Madrid Barajas Airport at 0:35 CET, lands in Madrid:

• Raising the Terrorist Alert Level (Nivel de Alerta Antiterrorista) to Level 5 - Maximum Thread.
• The deployment of the army in the international airports with programmed flights from the Union of Syndicates (Barcelona-El Prat, Madrid Barajas, London Heathrow, Antequera International).
• The deployment of the borders patrol and control in the listed airports, to deport those citizens with the Union of Syndicates passport.
• Only nationals coming from the Union of Syndicates will be allowed to enter the country. We are able to affirm around 134 nationals were in the Union of Syndicates until today, and they are all returning on the listed flights. A exception on Syndicates citizens will be made under the following conditions:
  a) The Syndical Police can affirm the citizen has no intention to attack Spain or the citizen hasn't got any links with Terrorist organizations.
  b) If the citizen is a refugee, businessman or has family here, after checking the prerequisites listed on section A.

Good evening,

Today, I'm addresing the million of Spaniards whom might be listening to this press conference, apart from you, the press and every European that could be interested on this statement I will read. The press conference today is about, as you might suppose, the current situation at the Union of Syndicates, the threads coming from several citizens and a woman who seems to be leading this dangerous movement apart from the repatriation of those trapped there.

Firstly, I would like to give further details on the security deployment we had yesterday in our airports. 13 Syndicates' citizens were arrested, after an advisory note from the Union of Syndicates' police. After registering them, we found several suspicious objects, along with bladed weapons made of clay, which are undetectable for the security gates. The 134 Spaniards that were in the Union of Syndicates came back on time and they are safe. As of now, I can affirm they are back with their families. Last night, we also received a call from the Nofoaganese Government asking to check if 5 Nofoaganese people had came from the Union of Syndicates on the last flight, which we can confirm. The 5 Nofoaganese people were allowed to enter Spain and they are currently on their way to Nofoaga.

Secondly, we are imposing the following measures to protect our country as the Spanish people security, which is our main concern right now. These measures are similar to those adopted by many European countries and similar to those the European countries have taken in the last 24 hours:

• All citizens of the Union of Syndicates are banned from entering the Kingdom of Spain.
• Travel to the Union of Syndicates shall be suspended indefintiely.
• All flights to and from the Union of Syndicates shall be immediately suspended.
• The Kingdom of Spain suspends the rights of abode and immigration to any citizen of the Union of Syndicates indefinitely.
• Spanish enterprises must suspend any business plans with any Syndicates' enterprise.

Apart from these measures, we have decided to keep the Terrorist Thread Level on 5, which means there a very high risk of attack. To those watching us right now, the Level 5 is just as the level 4 but it deploys the army on the critical infrastructure of the country. The army has received instructions to protect their bases as airports, train stations, bus stations, tourist attractions, embassies and Government's buildings. Apart from that, the police forces and the army have been allowed to shoot down anybody making an attempt on somebody's life.

I know these measures are critical and might seem really worrying, but I want to tell everyone, those thinking to visit our country, those visiting it and our citizens to keep calm. We have the most professional police forces, one of the most professional armies, and we are ready to protect every single person from these midless and crazy people. Today, I have received very bad news, as 102 Spanish have died in the massive attacks the United Duchies have suffered today. The Kingdom of Spain is working along the embassy team to repatriate the victims as soon as possible. The Spanish Government has enabled a special phone number +40-1-672-1465 in the United Duchies for Spanish people in the Kingdom and there to ask for their relatives. Our thoughts are with those affected by these cruel and infamous acts, as with the Duchies' society, which is going through a hard moment at the moment. You are not alone and you can count with your Spanish friends.

Apart from that, I wanted to inform the Governments of the European Union about the current situation in Spain: 5 people were arrested yesterday in the city of París, when they were transporting several gas cylinders of butane, bottles of oxygen and 3 jugs of acetone. We suspect they were transporting these materials to make some bombs to attack around Spain. We will continue investigating, as border controls will be established with every EU member state.

Statement - On the Nivel de Alerta Terrorista (Terrorist Attack Thread Level)

After the weekly meeting between the Minister for Local Government, Dña. Ana María Beltrán Villalba, the chiefs of the Spanish Police Forces, the Jefe del Estado Mayor de la Defensa, D. Miguel Ángel Villarroya, the Minister for Defence, D. Pedro Baños and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, D. Alfonso Dastis, have agreed to lower the Nivel de Alerta Antiterrorista to Nivel 4 - Level 4, as it was just before the Syndicates' events. The measures concerning the Union of Syndicates will be kept as they are, as the Kingdom of Spain can't guarantee the security of its nationals if they travel to the Union.

Statement - On the recent attack to the President of the Commonwealth of Leagio

The Spanish Ministry for Defence condemns the attack against the new President of the Commonwealth of Leagio, Ms. Ran Mouri-Kudo. The Kingdom of Spain considers Leagio as a very important neighbour and strategical ally, and so proves this point their participation in the Treaty of Finisterre's talks and the presence of the Spanish Army in Leagio for training and protection purposes only. After the attack, the Minister for Defence, D. Pedro Baños, has ordered the high ranks deployed in Leagio to provide and guarantee the security of the army personnel deployed in the Commonwealth, as well as to the military personnel being trained. The Spanish Army has been authorised to receive extra equipment from the Government in order to guarantee the security of the 2 military bases they are deployed at. The Government of the Commonwealth has Spain's full support and we can guarantee we won't do anything without their permission.

Summit with the First Minister of Copala City, George Maxwells

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation has met with the First Minister of the Autonomous Territory of Copala City, George Maxwells. During the summit, held at the office of the Foreign Affairs Minister in Madrid, Dastis and Maxwells have talked about the possible arrival of Spanish investors into the city, the latest political events and also the independence wish the Government of Copala City has. The summit has lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the First Minister has gifted a book to Alfonso Dastis. The Minister has then given a press conference to explain the summit: "We have been talking for a long time and we have agreed in many things, but we need to be cautious. Spain won't invest in Copala City right now, basically because there's a huge risk of that money not ending up well. About a possible recognition, Spain doesn't discard that if some prerequisites are accomplished by Reitzmag, and these are already known by everyone: Not pulling out from the Treaty, returning the autonomy to the Copalan Government and reaching an agreement on the Caspian. We hope we can see this things happening, but if something does not happen. then Copala City will be recognised."

Statement - Hespérides Research Mission on Antarctica

The Hespérides Boat has departed from Cartagena (Región de Murcia) to the Antarctic Ocean and Antarctica, in order to do new research missions about the South Pole of our planet and the impact global warming and by thus, climate change, is having over the ice caps on that area. The Hespérides boat is expected to come back to Spain in October 2021, and will send monthly reports about the findings the tripulation makes. Apart from climate-related missions, the Hespérides will help on the tracking and identification of penguins and other species living at Antarctica and will keep an eye on their reproduction, behaviour and relation with the environment.

President Aguilar Statement - On the Istkalenian-Reitzmic Conflict

The Kingdom of Spain has supported any proportional intervention from the Kingdom of Reitzmag in the Istkalenian-Reitzmic conflict, but the last informations about a possible occupation and annexation of Reitzmag on Istkalen will not be supported. The European Union has lots of mechanisms to regulate the situation in certain territories, and the Spanish Government will support a Vardic temporary occupation, a Reitzmo-Vardic temporary occupation or a joint European temporary occupation through the European Relief Force. As seen during the last year, Reitzmag alone is unable to manage an occupation because of certain things they believe they are correct but they are not.

I, as the President of the Kingdom of Spain, would like to send my most deep condolences to the Reitzmics families and friends of those who have lost their lives during this war. As a neutral party on this conflict, I offer myself as a mediator between Vayinaod, Reitzmag and Istkalen to put an end to this conflict after Istkalen surrendered. The European Union would also be invited to this mediation in the city of Madrid, and I would be giving a step to a side if the European Union wants to negotiate between the three parties involved on this war.

Hespérides Update - Arrival to Antactica and Settlement of Scientific Bases

As of today, the Spanish Government has received some news from the Hespérides research ship crew, which departed from the Naval Base of Cartagena (Región de Murcia) 22 days ago. The Hespérides has arrived to Antarctica and the settlement of scientific bases has started in order to research about the impact of Climate Change on Antarctica, the fauna of the massive continent as aswell to investigate more about the seas that surround the Antarctica and icebergs. As the Minister for Science, Innovation, Research, Digital Transformation and 2030 Agenda, it's with a huge feeling of happiness to inform about the success of Part 1 of the Hespérides mission. The Kingdom of Spain will not claim any piece of land in Antarctica, as it would be against the European Union law. Apart from that, the Kingdom of Spain will identify its bases in Antarctica with the Spanish Antarctican flag, designed exclusively for operation in the icy continent and bases over there.

Joint Statement between the GSSA, the ASMSA and the Minister for Overseas Territories and Missions and Straits at Gibraltar

The Minister of Overseas Territories and Missions and Straits, Teodoro García Egea; the Director of the Gibraltar Strait Security Agency, the Honorable Albert Issola and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency, D. Francisco Martín Gallego, have met today in the city of Gibraltar in order to decide what should be done with both the Strait of Gibraltar and the Strait of Adventuranza. The meeting, which has had a duration of 5 hours, has been very productive and all the parties have come to these conclusions:

1. The Kingdom of Spain considers the Strait of Gibraltar and the Strait of Adventuranza as Spanish waters.
2. The Spanish Government, in co-operation with the Gibraltar Strait Security Agency and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency, will deploy the Spanish Armada to enforce the current borders.
3. The Spanish Government considers that the lack of EU-level regulations on sea borders is more than enough reasons to stick to the "You claim what you can protect" principle. Apart from that, as the seas aren't regulated by any law, no sovereignty or territory is being invaded nor annexed by the Kingdom of Spain.
4. The Spanish Government, the Gibraltar Strait Maritime Security Agency and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency condemn the foreign intrusion of the Kingdom of Reitzmag into both Agencies' affairs in order to avoid a tax they have always been against.
5. The Gibraltar Strait Security Agency and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency will raise the Reitzmic tax from a 5% to an 8%. In case the tax is avoided in Adventuranza while the new borders are set, the tax of Adventuranza will be paid at Gibraltar.
6. The Gibraltar Strait Security Agency and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency, applying the competences given by the Spanish Government since their creation, impose a 7.400₠ mandatory payment to all non-cargo ships with Reitzmic flag. This payment doesn't apply to any other country in Europe.
7. The Spanish Government compromises to accomplish the agreements signed with nations and the current exemptions, applied to the following countries: Inquista, Icholasen, Vayinaod, Fremet, Montenbourg, Spain, Angleter, Duxburian Union, United Duchies, North Diessen, Inimicus and Gallorum.
8. The Spanish Government entitles, accomplishing with its principles, to protect their sovereign waters and keep the borders as they are for now. The silence from Moriagaru and their random appearance in the Council means nothing to the GSSA, the ASMSA or the Ministry.

PREAMBLE

The Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdoms of Mennrimiak, in the search of establishing a better relationship, co-operating for the well functioning of the diplomatic activity between both nations and putting an end to many months of bad relationships, compromise to the following.

SECTION I - Diplomatic Relationships

1. The Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdoms of Mennrimiak will re-open their embassies in both nations capital cities once the day after the treaty is signed.
2. The Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdoms of Mennrimiak compromise to look after their diplomatic relationships, giving preference to friendly attitudes, solidarity and empathy.

SECTION II - Referring to Gibraltar and Adventuranza Straits

1. The Spanish Government sets the maximum tax to Mennrimiak ships on a 3% over the cargo's total value.
2. Mennrimian-flagged ships will be taxed at 3% on both Straits unless the GSSA or the ASMSA decide the opposite.
3. This section can be repealed if the Spanish Government, the Gibraltar Strait Security Agency, the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency and the Congreso de los Diputados, with an absolute majority, vote to repeal it.

SECTION III - Fight Against Drug Trafficking

1. The Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdoms of Mennrimiak compromise to fight against Drug Traficking and will co-operate in order to achieve this goal.

Statement concerning the Republic of Istkalen

The President of the Govenment of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Jesús Aguilar, and the European Councillor for Spain and Deputy Speaker of the European Council, Mr. Donald Tusk, have both met in Europolis to talk about the strategies and guidelines to follow concerning the Republic of Istkalen and its provisional Government, along with the ongoing European Relief Force deployment in the Republic of Istkalen. Both, the President and the European Councillor, have agreed to follow the following guidelines:

I. The Kingdom of Spain considers the J-TAI (Joint Transitional Authority for Istkalen) as a reliable and trustworthy authority when it comes to the Vardic action. Nevertheless, we cannot feel the same with the Reitzmic action, as the past actions taken by Reitzmag aren't an example for the Kingdom of Spain or Human Rights within Europe.
II. The Kingdom of Spain supports the Vardic current action in the Republic of Istkalen, as well as we supported the response to Istlaken's acts of war. However, the Kingdom of Spain cannot support the current Reitzmic action in Istkalen.
III. The Kingdom of Spain believes the Government of the Republic of Istkalen, as well as the European Union, should be integrated into the Republic of Istkalen reconstruction. We will support the deployment of the European Relief Force as far as they stick to their Humanitarian Aid tasks after the instrument of surrender is changed. If the European Relief Forced is used as an instrument by any country to interfere within the J-TAI activities, Spain will withdraw its total support to the ERF deployment.
IV. The President of the Kingdom of Spain calls the parties involved to negotiate a joint and alternative solution which gives equal representation to Reitzmag, Istkalen and Vayinaod, and includes the Premier Commissioner and the Internal Affairs Commissioner of the European Union. Even if Spain cannot trust Reitzmag's goodwill, we believe Reitzmag deserves the right to be heard in the rebuilding of Istkalen.
V. The Kingdom of Spain, attempting to bring back the normal status to Istkalen, considers the Republic of Istkalen Government as the preferential interlocutor, along with the Vardic members of the J-TAI. Spain won't take sides or else show preference for one or another side, but will offer its mediation to reach an agreement between all the involved parties.

Concerning the Council bills to repeal the European Relief Force deployment on Istkalen and the proposal for Flag Commissioner made in the Council, Spain will support the repeal of the deployment and block any attempt to designate a Flag Commissioner until the J-TAI and the Republic of Istkalen both agree on a new Instrument of Surrender.

Statement concerning the Establishment of a Military Base in Mennrimiak

After some conversations and a long negotiation between the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Mennrimiak, both Governments have agreed to establish a Spanish Military base in the Mennrimian region of Trøndelag, while the taxes applied to Mennrimiak will decrease from a 3% to a 1%, after conversation with both the Gibraltar Strait Security Agency and the Adventuranza Strait Maritime Security Agency.

The President of Spain, Jesús Aguilar; and the Minister for Defence, Pedro Baños; have wanted to emphasize that this agreement won't affect any of the established bases and mission in the Republic of Nofoaga, and that the Kingdom of Spain keeps its compromise to cooperate with the Nofoagan Government to protect and defend their island and their citizens like we have been doing since last year.

The Government has appointed General Daniel R. Hokanson as the Chief of the Spanish Army in Mennrimiak and the Artic.

Statement concerning Nofoaga

The Spanish Government, as a main party involved on the protection and on keeping security in the Republic Nofoaga, wishes to inform the rest of Government on the European Union that it is impossible to evacuate any person from the island of Nofoaga due to the high risk the volcanic eruption involves. The President of the Kingdom of Spain, Jesús Aguilar, is in constant communication with both bases in Nofoaga and the military. The Ministry for Overseas Territories and Missions and Straits is woking closely with the President in order to protect the Nofoagans and the foreign citizens that have been rescued. More information about the current situation and the possible future of Nofoaga will be given by President Aguilar tomorrow morning, Spanish time.

Statement - Caspian Triumvirate

The Kingdom of Spain and, consequently, its Government and the Ministry for Defence note the creation of the Caspian Triumvirate, formed by the United Duchies, the Empire of Selvaris and the Kingdom of Reitzmag; and expresses its dissapointment with the United Duchies' participation and involvement with the Kingdom of Reitzmag on a defense pact and intelligence sharing without consulting any of the Telum Treaty members, a treaty the Kingdom and its allies consider critical and that deserves much more involvement from one of its main driving forces when it comes to sharing and offering defensive pacts that are as well reflected on the Telum Treaty.

We join the Confederacy of North Diessen and the Empire of Inimicus in their thoughts and opinions, and we as well believe that the non-consulation of the United Duchies is a betrayal to the principles of cooperation and communication the Telum Treaty has and was created with. The Spanish Military and Counter Intelligence is, as any other country's intelligence, really valuable and the share of military and other kinds of informations that the United Duchies could have got from us with the Kingdom of Reitzmag, known by its agressions to the Caspian estability, their unwillingness to negotiate a solution for Copala City with the Copalans and the Nicoleizians or the kidnapping of Mr. Bernie Sanders, is a risky move to the Telum Treaty estability as well as falling short for the signatory states.

Furthermore, we cannot explain the change of mind of the United Duchies officials concerning Reitzmag, and we share and endorse the words said by both the Confederacy of North Diessen and the Empire of Inimicus in their statement, released today. However, we have received an amended version of the Caspian Triumvirate, which would seem more acceptable to us. Until the new amended treaty does not come into effect, the Kingdom of Spain will no longer share any military, national security or economic intelligence with the United Duchies. Finally, concerning Selvaris, we welcome them into the European Union and hope a fructiferous relation can be established between both nations.

Statement - Evacuation of Tourists from Nofoaga

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation wishes to communicate that the evacuation of the 3000 foreign citizens visiting Nofoaga at the moment of the volcanic eruption has been conducted successfully in two Airbus A340 that were leased by Iberia and previously bought from the European Union Council. The citizens from America have and the North of Europe were boarded on a first flight with landings in Gadalland & Aspern, Mennrimiak, Ruthund, Montenbourg, Brickston, Vayinaod and Reitzmag; while the rest of the tourists were boarded on the 2nd flight. We thank all the countries for their cooperation and patience concerning the evacuations, as well as Iberia for leasing the planes.
