Provinces

Sildronia is made up of 8 major provinces, called regions with 7 counties in each region. The provinces are:

  • St Sildron's (capital city and smallest Provence)
  • Apostria
  • Vale of Lamrock
  • Mount Hanloy
  • Falonshire
  • North Welwick
  • Welwick
  • Platonbury

-Each region has a regional assembly which deals with local matters such as transport and policing.
-Each county has a smaller assembly which deals with matters such as education, welfare and rubbish collection
-Within the counties there are also numerous electoral constituencies, some of which have councils as well to deal with
smaller, much more local matters.

Political system

Sildronia has a Bicameral political system which consists of an non-elected and appointed House of Lords and and a directly elected congress.
Congree has a further three chambers in it - The Imperial House, the Cardinal House and the Senate.

  • The Imperial House is the oldest branch of congree and arose in the time of the empire. It has has 456 members - 1 for each region, 1 fore each county and 1 for each district (there are 7 per county). The only main function of the district is for the election of members to the imperial house. The job of the imperial house is to take part in the process of passing and repealing laws for the nation. It is headed by a speaker who is elected from the members, by the members. The three most important members are the ministers of law, democracy and international affairs, who are elected by the population after the regional MPs have been chosen. They are the oldest offices in the house and are considered highly important.
