Major Public Show of Support for The Democracy

Large crowds were drawn to central Sandford this morning as part of large gatherings marking 4 years since the founding of The Democracy and the realisation of The Lord High Protector as our national leader. Hundreds of Thousands came to the centre of the city to mark the occasion with a large crowd forming and waving national flags. The crowd stretched for miles down The Mall and the surrounding streets.

The Democracy was founded by founding father, our Lord High Protector Hubertus Heinze, following the 2017 national election and the removal of the traitorous King Hubert by Democratic Decree. King Hubert served the nation for many years until his traitorous behaviour was discovered and he was removed from office. The Lord High Protector has shown over the last 5 years the compassion and dedication to the citizens of The Democracy than our previous monarch ever did.

Following the large crowd reaching the Lord High Protectors residence, The Lord High Protector spoke directly to the people from the balcony saying,

‘The Democracy is as strong as ever and you, my people assembled here show the world that Davishire is as strong as it ever has been before’.

Following the gathering The Lord High Protector returned inside and provided food and drink to the people. What a great day for our nation.

In Other News...

A large fire broke out overnight in a tower block in the centre of Dandford. The death count is still not known however the Lord High Protector has vowed to ensure that no tragedy of this nature happens again. The Democratic Police are working to determine the cause of the fire and are blaming Hubert Era Loshwassereinspeisungen for failing at the key moment.

Following a great season Sandford Rangers were declared the winners of Division 1 of the football championship. The team started off the season with some difficulty winning only 1 of their first 4 games however they have not lost a game since Christmas. What a record!

5 males was arrested today for conspiracy to commit murder, they planned to kill The Lord High Protector and were caught following a tip provided to police by local people.
