OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON ICHOLASEN, REITZMAG, AND INQUISTA
The Archrepublic of Vayinaod will officially support Inquista following the democratic protocols instilled its laws as well as union law. The matter concerning Cllr. Firoux is entirely an internal matter for Inquista, and as such the Archrepublic will remain committed to its official neutrality in the matter. The Archrepublic hopes for continued peace in the situation. I will continue to offer this advice to the Archkonsul until the situation has changed.
The Archrepublic is continuing its efforts in organizing a successful peaceful resolution to the crisis evolving in the area concerning Reitzmag. The talks have thus far been fruitful even with its issue, I still believe they are the best chance for a lasting peace and thank all parties for being involved.
On the matter of the coup in Icholasen, the Archrepublic remains committed to following a peaceful resolution in the matter. I and Cllr. Falk both agreed to enter the Condemnation of the coup as it was illegal under then Nicoleizian law. We hope if the alleged 'United Nicoleizian Socialist Republics' wishes to be recognized as a legitimate government they adhere to the terms of the condemnation. The Archrepublic primarily wishes for the denuclearisation of the Island, and if that is accomplished the Archrepublic will support total recognition of the United Nicoleizian Socialist Republics.
Myself, the First Konsul, the Archkonsul, and the Council of Seven are closely monitoring the situation and are gravely concerned by the lack of action by the government-in-exile of Ms. Whiteford. Therefore, the Archrepublic is suspending all active support for them, and is from now one to officially refer to them as the In-Exile Previous Government of Icholasen until such time that the matter has changed.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE RECENT EVENTS IN REITZMAG
I was truly hoping that the situation in Reitzmag had turned for the better, apparently it has not. We are still trying to ascertain the entire full story as to what occurred, but what we do know was that some elements in Reitzmag kidnapped a foreign diplomat in hopes of generating military equipment for themselves. This goes against the principles of the Nyetthem Accords we had worked out just last week after days of talks. Diplomacy is the only way to continue peace, but force is necessary to protect it. That statement was rather proven last night.
I have advised the Archkonsul and the Director of Bureau of Immigration and Homeland Security to take the following actions to which they have agreed too:
- Travel between Vayinaod and Reitzmag will be limited to essential travel as verified by the Directorate of Homeland Security
- The Reitzmic Embassy in Vayinaod will not be removed at this time, we invite other nations to communicate via this embassy if they have removed theirs.
- Economic assets of all Reitzmic officials shall be frozen at this time, and their travel to Vayinaod is banned pending an official exemption from the Archkonsul
- Vayinaodic Armed Forces have been raised to Threat Level Bravo, with Air Defense Squadrons put on Threat Level Alpha.
- Any and all military assets of Reitzmag that enter Vayinaodic waters and air space shall be immediately detained pending a formal investigation of their intent. Personnel shall also fall under this detainment.
- All Vayinaodic Citizens in Reitzmag not conducting essential travel are advised to leave the nation.
Pending the evolution and response of Reitzmag the Archrepublic will respond accordingly.

ARCHKONSUL OF THE ARCHREPUBLIC -
OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE EVENTS IN INQUISTA
I am deeply disappointed that Inquista devolved into violence over the last few days. I am appalled and feel betrayed as a human being by the actions of a select cartel of alleged "Crusaders" and by the former Archbishop of Inquista, Paul Craticus. I stood by one of these men, Jordyn Finsch, at peace talks not even two weeks ago.
That said, the Archrepublic feels very much the same. We hereby condemn all acts of violence, and hope that the transitional government currently in control of Inquista works to prosecute all those who committed completely unlawful acts of violence. We stand ready to support the provisional government in anyway they need. The laws of their nation, among so many other nations were violated internally by these Crusaders. The provisional government must work to ensure that it respects its laws.
I have already been in contact with Caudillo Juan-Bernardo Fernandez-Velasquez and he has ensured me even under the declared state of martial law that all Vayinaodic citizens can make plans with the local embassy to ensure their safe passage back home. I offer the same support to any Inquistan who wishes to rush home during these times. The Office of the High Representative is opening up a voucher program to assist Inquistan or Vayinaodic citizens attempting to conduct travel back to their home nation.
At this time, the Directorate of Homeland Security has been notified of all wanted persons by the provisional Inquistan Government. Vayinaod has no extradition treaty with Inquista at this time, but will handle these cases appropriately. The economic assets of said individuals in Vayinaod have been seized and are being using to fund the Return Home program I mentioned earlier.
For now we are evacuating non-essential staff from our embassy in Inquista along with all families, but will for now keep that embassy open.
Just for clarity the Archrepublic does recognize the provisional government lead by Caudillo Juan-Bernardo Fernandez-Velasquez as the current governing authority in Inquista. I am maintaining daily contact with both our Ambassador in Inquista, as well as the Inquistan ambassador here in Vayinaod.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE EVENTS IN VALHALLA AND EASTERN HAANE
I was hoping to keep these events for High Representative Eriksson, but myself and the First Konsul have both agreed the escalation in the United Stars of Valhalla and the Confederation of Eastern-Haane deserves outright statements from myself.
To reiterate the long standing policy of the Archrepublic of Vayinaod, we believe that internal processes of a country must remain legitimate, protected, and peaceful. We support peaceful resolutions to all matters, and if the interested parties in Valhalla and Eastern Haane would like outside moderation I am extending invitations to come to Nyetthem to achieve some sort of talks over their respective domestic situations.
The Archrepublic of Vayinaod condemns the storming of the legislature and taking all the members into some form of custody. Democracy is done at the ballot box, not through a barrel. The Archrepublic understands that Eastern-Haane has a complex, and often times informal form of government. All parties must come to the table, and form a clear and concise peaceful direction for the nation. This must happen with the release of all the members of their 'General Council', and it must have the stipulation that the territorial integrity and unity of Eastern-Haane remain.
As Archkonsul I have ordered the following actions:
- Travel between Vayinaod and Eastern Haane will be limited to essential travel only as verified by the Directorate of Republic Security
- Economic assets shall be frozen for any party committing any form of violence, and those who took part in the mass arrest in the General Council. Travel for these individuals shall also be banned to Vayinaod unless officially exempted by myself. The Directorate of Republic Security shall work to provide an official list of these individuals.
- All products and services made or offered by individuals taking part in this coup are to be embargoed from the Archrepublic.
- Any and all military assets of Eastern Haane that entered Vayinaodic waters and airspace shall be immediately detained pending a formal investigation, personnel shall also be detained.
- All Vayinaodic Citizens in Eastern Haane are urged at this time to return to Vayinaod.
Onto the subject of the United Stars of Valhalla. I hate violence, the Archrepublic hates violence, Europe hates violence. The use of the term, Civil War, is an oxymoron to me. How is a war civil.? Violence and war is never an answer to civil issues. The Archrepublic stands by the principles of self-determination, and the respect of the processes of law. These processes are being violated on both sides in the conflict in Vahlalla.
There were Vayinaodic citizens in Valhalla, but the Office of the High Representative, in conjunction with the Office of the First Konsul and the Directorate of Foreign Intelligence managed to organize their evacuation. All known citizens have been evacuated, all remaining flight and maritime travel to the United Stars of Valhalla has been suspended.
I can not stand idly by while there is trench warfare causing casualities in whole percentage points of their entire population. With the advice of First Konsul Henningson, I am ordering the 1st Fleet of the Vardic Republican Navy to depart from their current exercise zone in the Atlantic to be stationed off the Valhallan Isles pending approval by the Storting for military action.
Currently the 1st Fleet is comprised of:
- The VRNS Adeler (namesake of her class) with the 2nd Naval Combat Air Wing embarked. The 2nd Naval Combat Air Wing is currently composed of fourteen AV-8B Harrier Jump Jets, six Kron NH-45 Helicopters for Anti-Submarine, Anti-Electronic Warfare, and Search and Rescue functions.
- The VRNS Erik the Red (second ship of the Ivar the Boneless class) with the 1st Tactical Marine Division embarked at the moment.
- Two Norling-Class Cruisers
- Three Larsen-Class Destroyers
- Six Akselsen-Class Frigates
- Three Hjort-Class Replenishment and Transportation ships.
For Security concerns I can not confirm how many specific ships, but there is a submarine group forward deployed at the moment with the 1st Fleet.
For the moment, the 1st Fleet will be conducting operations to ensure Vardic trade is not interrupted. The Fleet will be working to protect the freedom of navigation and maritime guidance in the area. If any attack is brought against the fleet, it will be met with quick and decisive retribution.
When given permission by the Storting, the 1st Fleet will be in a ready formation to take action in Valhalla at a moments notice if required too. I want a peaceful resolution to this crisis as does the First Konsul. We are inviting both parties to the table for a peaceful resolution here in Nyetthem. Requirements to be met must be the release of all government officials as claimed by both states immediately and if possible unharmed, release of all officers to the side of their respective commission.
If Civilian rights are at risk and targeted by either side, the Archrepublic is not afraid to immediately and decisively intervene against both sides in the conflict. If war crimes are committed by either side we will act. If any European laws or if the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is violated the Archrepublic will act.
If both parties refuse to find a peaceful resolution, the Archrepublic prepared to make them come to the table. If a ceasefire is declared by both parties the Archrepublic along with specific nations who may wish to partner with us are willing to peace keep the situation.
Until the situation is resolved I have the following orders:
- Travel between Vayinaod and the United States of Valhalla and the so-called Communist Stars of Valhalla will be banned.
- Economic assets shall be frozen for any party committing any form of violence. Travel for these individuals shall also be banned to Vayinaod unless officially exempted by myself. The Directorate of Republic Security shall work to provide an official list of these individuals.
- All products and services from the United States of Valhalla and the so-called Communist Stars of Valhalla are embargoed until further notice pending approval by the Storting.
- Any and all military assets of the United States of Valhalla and the so-called Communist Stars of Valhalla that entered Vayinaodic waters and airspace shall be immediately detained pending a formal investigation, personnel shall also be detained.
- All Valhallan citizens unless declared permanent residents in the Archrepublic, or are seeking asylum shall be sent to their country of origin.

STATEMENT ON CONCLUSION OF EVENTS IN VALHALLA AND EASTERN HAANE
I was asked today by the Archkonsul to release my office's new guidance for the United Stars of Valhalla and People's Confederation of Eastern Haane.
Starting with Eastern Haane, due to the nature of their recent comments. It should be noted due to national security concerns I can not divulge the entire nature of how the Directorate of Republic Security comes to denote which individuals are travel banned or have their assets frozen when ordered too.
I can definitively say that the Archrepublic does not take part in active espionage in the Confederation. It utilizes to the best of its ability public sources as well as willing and legal private sources. Obviously if persons were not verified or known, then the Directorate of Republic Security is unable to make a recommendation to freeze assets or institute a travel ban.
However, the Archrepublic will still consider the act of entering a legislative chamber and escorting elected officials out by gunpoint as a coup and will follow standard procedure in recognition of that fact. We will act based on all information gathered, both from primary sources and other means to achieve what can be considered a safe ascertainment of the situation.
Regardless, the following changes will be made to the status of Eastern Haane:
- Travel restrictions are hereby lifted, however a travel advisory will remain in place with all Vardic citizens advised to keep a sense of situational awareness and have a means of contact with Vardic officials if required.
Other measures are still being evaluated and any changes will be announced at a later date.
On the subject of Valhalla.
The 1st Fleet has remained in the area, and will continue to do so until it will be relieved by the 2nd Fleet when ordered to by the Archkonsul.
All economic sanctions shall be lifted unless the Directorate of Republic Security recommends continued embargoes for specific person(s).
The travel ban shall be lifted, but a travel advisory shall be put into place until further notice.

STATEMENT ON NEW EVENTS IN EASTERN HAANE
In conjunction with various partner nations, the following actions are being undertaken following the rapidly deteriorating situation in Eastern Haane.

In accordance with the travel advisories issued over the past few days, the Office of the High Representative hereby bans all travel to and from the area collectively known as 'Eastern Haane' as recognized by the European Union Cartography Department. Specific travel passes shall be afforded to passenger jets undertaking courier flights of Eastern Haane nations back to their home country, and that of Vardic citizens back to the Archrepublic.

Henceforth in regards to official communications from the Archrepublic, unless otherwise noted, when referring to 'Eastern Haane' this includes all entities within the area, including those yet to be declared.

All official documentation issued by 'Eastern Haane' intended for travel purposes shall no longer be recognized by the Archrepublic, and all agencies have been advised to no longer accept them at ports of entry.

All nationals from 'Eastern Haane' shall have 24 hours to declare their intent to the Directorate of Republic Security as to their intentions of leaving the Archrepublic or applying for a 'Refugee' status at their nearest Security Directorate. Failure to do so may result in deportation.

All economic assests of any claimed government of or within 'Eastern Haane' are hereby frozen within the Archrepublic, and shall be held until otherwise noted. All goods and services are hereby embargoed.

All 'Eastern Haane' registered aircraft and vessels, and those operated by 'Eastern Haane' companies shall be banned from Vardic air and maritime spaces. Any vessels and aircraft which violate this shall be intercepted, and impounded at cost to the operator, with the potential for imprisonment of the crew.

The Directorate of Republic Security, Office of Military Intelligence, and the Eighth Konsulate shall monitor the evolving situation, particularly in the realm of human rights violations. The Archrepublic will not tolerate any and all crimes against humanity, civil rights violations and will work within the laws of the European Union in conjunction with its partners to stop them at all costs if evidence is produced.
The Konsulate of the Archrepublic condemns the violence, and undemocratic evolution of the situation in Eastern Haane and pleads that all parties come to a table with no conditions to find a common ground to establish a peaceful future. The Konsulate offers its services as an independent arbitrator.

Assembled here today. the Four Assembled Powers to this declaration and agreement, the Archrepublic of Vayinaod, the Kingdom of Fremet, the Kingdom of Spain, and the Empire of Inimicus, hereby agree to the assigned declaration.
The Four Assembled Powers condemn the atrocities being committed in the area of the former nation-state known as Eastern Haane, and that without proper intervention these atrocities will continue.
While condemning these atrocities, the Four Assembled Powers also condemn the vigilante justice being attempted to be imposed on the former-nation state and the various factions vying to be its successor.
In the hopes that the European Council will come to a quick decision, that will offer an actual effective path to peace for Eastern Haane, and to prevent various state actors from adding more unnecessary complications to the crisis at hand; the Four Assembled Powers hereby declare their intention to establish a No Fly Zone over the area of the former nation-state of Eastern Haane.
This No Fly Zone shall be defined as the ban of any commercial, private, government, or military flights (including overflights) over the air space of the former nation-state of Eastern Haane. This No Fly Zone is conducted in the hopes of protecting civilians, and preventing more disarray in this inhumane crisis.
The enforcement of the No Fly Zone shall commence at 1200 Hours GMT+2, October 3rd, 2020, and shall continue until declared otherwise by the Four Assembled Powers.
The No Fly Zone will apply to ALL aircraft outside necessary enforcement aircraft from the Four Assembled Powers. Only aircraft intended to deliver humanitarian or medical aid shall be allowed through the no-fly zone. Any party that wishes to provide these materials must submit to an inspection at a port of entry as declared from any of the Four Assembled Powers.
The Four Assembled Powers shall have the undisputed right to enforce this declaration through any means they view necessary, and any aircraft attempting to violate the No Fly Zone will be attempted to be escorted to a port of inspection, out of the airspace declared to be the No Fly Zone, or if necessary eliminated from the No Fly Zone.
Any aircraft in the No Fly Zone must adhere to the Four Assembled Powers, and their forces enforcing the zone.
Any grounds or naval entities that attempt to interfere with the enforcement of the No Fly Zone shall be dealt with only a proportional response.
Any aircraft coming out of Eastern Haane must submit to an inspection at a declare port of entry after exiting the No Fly Zone.
Once the European Council has approved a measure and response to the crisis in Eastern Haane, the No Fly Zone shall transition to coordinate with this response in whatever capacity the Four Assembled Powers consider necessary and appropriate.
Any additional amendments to this declaration shall be declared through any of the defense ministries or equivalent of the Four Assembled Powers.
Any additional announcements following this declaration may be relayed through any of the defense ministries or equivalent of the Four Assembled Powers.
