Statement from the Citadel Concerning Recent Events in the United Reichs of Reitzmag
The Union of Duxburian Dominions is appalled by the kidnapping of a foreign government official in Reitzmag and hearby condemns this action. To ensure the safety of Duxburians abroad, the following measures shall apply immediately:
I. All flights to and from the URR are cancelled, except for the purpose of repatriating Duxburian citizens abroad.
II. All travel to the URR is heavily discouraged. A Red Warning level travel advisory will apply to this destination.
III. URR military units may not enter Duxburian territory, this includes any land, water, or airspace that Duxburian military units may exert control over on a temporary basis, potentially including territory that other countries might consider "international".
IIII. The Duxburian military is authorized to enforce this restriction using deadly force.
V. Any citizens of the URR currently in Duxburian territory for any reason have 48 hours to leave and withdraw their assets.
VI. All imports claiming the URR as the country of origin will be turned away, along with all exports with a receiving address in the URR.
VII. Duxburian air defense and submarine rapid strike forces are on high alert.These measures will remain in place for an indefinite period. The Office of State will monitor the situation carefully and reassess as necessary.

Follow-Up Statement from the Citadel on the Kingdom of Reitzmag
As the situation in Reitzmag improves, the Union of Duxburian Dominions shall ease restrictions in a phased manner.
I. Flights to and from the KoR may resume on a limited schedule.
II. Travel to the KoR remains discouraged, but the Red Warning is cancelled.
III. Military restrictions remain in place.
IV. All citizens of the KoR are welcome to return to Duxburian territory.
V. Imports and exports are free to flow again.
VI. Air defense and strike forces are no longer on high alert.We hope for continued progress toward peace and stability in the KoR.

Temporary Withdrawal of Duxburian Councillor from Europolis
Due to alarm over the security situation and repeated episodes of violent chaos in the European Council, we are recalling Councillor Wesley Greene to Dairghazburo. This is not a permanent move, although as of now there is no concrete return date. The Duxburian government will evaluate the conditions and determine when it is safe for Councillor Greene to return.

Statement on European Elections
The Domain of Elections regrets to announce that European Commission elections in the Union of Duxburian Dominions are temporarily suspended due to catastrophic drops in turnout below 5% in the previous election and below 5% projected in the current cycle.
The cost to hold a nationwide election can exceed half a billion kaels and the Domain of Elections cannot justify the expense for this type of election at these turnout levels.
Until projected turnout returns to acceptable levels above 5%, the Councillor-General is hereby empowered to cast European Commission votes on behalf of the Union of Duxburian Dominions.
All funds not spent during the suspension will be applied to future elections. In accordance with the Duxburian Constitution, all other types of nationwide elections will continue to be held regardless of turnout considerations.
