STATEMENT ON THE TREATY OF TELUM

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is highly concerned about the nation's trade routes and our national security after the Treaty of Telum has been signed. Our Armed Force is committed to invest least on our navy, but with the threats of allowing only specific nations through the Kiel Canal has concerned us. Our Naval capabilities are not enough to defend our interests in the Caspian with such policy. Hence, the following measures shall be effective immediately:

The Royal Navy shall be prioritized by the defense budget until further notice.
The Royal Air Force shall remain in patrol of the area in collaboration with the Royal Navy and its Naval Air Service.
Military Ships bound from any of the signatories of the Treaty of Telum shall seek permission for access to enter Reitzmic waters. Failure to do so may lead to the destruction of the disobedient ship. Submarines shall be required to display their naval jack and navigate over the surface.
Sand-dredging operations in the Caspian shall continue its operations.
Vessels bound and/or registered from the Kingdom of Reitzmag shall continue its navigation to its specific destinations.

STATEMENT ON THE THREATS FROM THE UNITED DUCHIES

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag, in response to the threats from the United Duchies assures that all operations within the Caspian are for safety, security, economic, and defense purposes. We may not publish the entire outline of our project as there are classified parts that may only be accessible to our Government. Our main intention for the construction of such islands are for the safety of all ships passing through the Caspian to cater them if they are in need of maintenance in the middle of the Caspian or rescue if they are sinking or in such disaster that needs rescue. We have already published a map of the islands to be constructed on Phase 1. We have made sure that the place we constructed islands from do not contain any fish to prevent killing of those. During the project, we also constructed artificial coral reefs after the construction of every island. That is to help grow the fish population in the area to allow anyone visiting the islands to fish once the area is developed. Waters around the area will be regulated but we will allow all ships except otherwise sanctioned by the country to pass through and enjoy the tourist spots. We request that the United Duchies as well as other countries seize their worries on our operations that are mainly for the good of the European peoples.

STATEMENT ON THE USE OF EMU CURRENCY IN REITZMAG

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag greets everyone a very Happy New Year and congratulates the members of the European Monetary Union on the start of their unified currency's validity. The United Dominions of Icholasen, as a member of the EMU and has control over Copala City and New Saint Regina and as part of the Treaty of Buckingham, will implement the EMU as the recognized and used currency in the leased territories on a step by step basis. The Government had begun with the implementation of the devolution since October last year. And with this, we also want to make it easier for Nicolezians and Reitzmics in the leased areas to go to Reitzmag by allowing the use of the EMU Currency in the country with its equivalent exchange rate. This will take effect from February 28, 2021 in a step by step basis. Further information on the effectivity of the validity of the EMU Currency in the country may be found in the website of the Treasury Ministry and the Bank of Reitzmag.

URGENT STATEMENT ON EARTHQUAKE IN GRANADA

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is concerned about the recent earthquake that struck Granada. We would like to reach to the Government of the Kingdom of Spain and inform them that we are ready to send aid to those affected if necessary. All Reitzmic visitors will also be evacuated back to the country while we will allow Spanish nationals in Reitzmag who wish to see their families that are affected by this disaster to return to Spain with the help of our Royal Air Force and other private partners such as British Airways. STATEMENT ON THE THREAT FROM THE UNION OF SYNDICATES

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag after an urgent discussion regarding the situation in the Union of Syndicates had decided to take measures to protect Reitzmic Citizens and Nationals in said country. The Cabinet had seen that it cannot easily trust the "safehouses" where the Government of the Union of Syndicates had taken our people. With that, the following measures to ensure the safety and security of all foreigners in the Union of Syndicates, especially Reitzmic Nationals and Citizens:

National Threat Level will be raised to 3 - SUBSTANTIAL which means that an attack on the country's assets is a strong possibility.
All flights to and from the Union of Syndicates shall be immediately suspended, all planes within Reitzmic Airspace bound for the said country shall conduct an emergency landing at the nearest airport or air base. All aircraft on the ground bound for the said country shall disembark its passengers, unload its cargo, and be stored for the time being.
All Reitzmic Citizens and Nationals will be evacuated back to the country after further instructions in cooperation with the Government of the Union of Syndicates.
Governments of other countries who wish for help in evacuating their people may communicate with the Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag. The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag offers the country as a pitstop to collect all foreign nationals and citizens before heading back to their respective countries of origin.
Nicolezians who reside in Copala City that is currently in the Union of Syndicates will be automatically evacuated together with Reitzmic Nationals and Citizens given that they provide identification by presenting their passports issued by the Reitzmo-Nicolezian Joint Committee on Immigration from the Leased Lands.
Citizens of the Union of Syndicates who wish to remain in the country while visiting as of this announcement's publishing in fear of the threats present in their country of origin may appear before the nearest Foreign Affairs Office along with their passport and travel documents to request for protection status on or before February 20 2021 6:00pm GMT+2.
Citizens of the Union of Syndicates who wish to return to the Union of Syndicates or have failed to appear to the nearest Foreign Affairs Office to request for protection status will be transported back with the help of the Royal Air Force. Deportation will have no fees paid.
Citizens of the Union of Syndicates who have been granted protection status may only stay in Hampton City. Should they fail to find a place to stay, the Government will provide them with free accommodation. All protected individuals will also be provided a 300 RPS Daily Budget for their meals and needs.
Vessels registered under the Kingdom of Reitzmag bound for the Union of Syndicates shall not continue their journey and may stop at the nearest port area. We are cooperating with the governments of our fellow European nations to let you and your ship stay in the port until further notice even without a visa.
Seafarers stranded at ports shall appear before the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the Kingdom of Reitzmag along with their seafarer's passport to receive a 1500 RPS Initial Budget for food and daily needs while they stay stranded. Accommodation will also be provided by the Foreign Affairs Ministry through the consulates/embassies in cooperation with the governments of other European nations.

UPDATE AND FURTHER MEASURES ON TERRORIST THREATS FROM THE UNION OF SYNDICATES

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag had decided to take more measures after being updated with the following information regarding terrorism threats from the Union of Syndicates:

3 Citizens of the Union of Syndicates were arrested for attempting to bring assault weapons inside a mall in Hampton City, police reports show that there are 4 more suspects who also carry unregistered assault weapons and possibly IEDs.
4 Citizens of the Union of Syndicates were held for investigation after attempting to enter the country without proper travel documents.
A Syndicate woman initially identified as the Ueliohen Matriarch was found dead in front an apartment this afternoon Copala City.
2 Citizens of the Union of Syndicates were arrested and another killed after holding a Spanish woman hostage for more than an hour.
3 IEDs found in Hampton City Park, Newark Central Square, and Copala City respectively were disarmed and/or disposed by the Bomb Disposal Unit.
A cabinet filled with high-caliber guns and assault weapons were found in an apartment in Esserbrund City, the tenants are still being identified.
First to Fifth batch of evacuees from the Union of Syndicates had arrived in RAF Brewnest.

Due to the situations that had been reported above, the Government had decided to apply the following additional measures due to the fact that Syndicate terrorism had already reached the country:

National Threat Level will be raised to 4 - SEVERE which means that an attack is expected imminently.
All military personnel within the country had been deployed to patrol throughout the country as a security measure. Checkpoints have been established especially in urban areas.
All national borders will be under tighter security measures, only flights from Vayinaod, Inquista, Leagio, Duxburian Union, and Angleter are allowed by air traffic control to enter Reitzmic Airspace. Hence, all those who wish to travel to the country may book for a connecting flight that passes through any of these stop points.
All connecting flights that require a stop in the country will not be allowed until further notice. We have informed airline companies ahead of this announcement bout this measure.
Mass gatherings would be discouraged and strictly monitored to ensure that no terrorist may blend into the crowd.
No one other than police, military, and other frontline service workers may stay outside their homes from 9:30pm to 5pm. Night shift workers may present a valid ID and document that proves their working schedule.
- First Offence: Verbal Warning and immediate return to their home.
- Second Offence: Recorded Warning and immediate return to their home.
- Third Offence: Fine of 3,000 RPS and immediate return to their home.
- Final Offence: Detention for an entire day.
Gun shops shall be closed until further notice. Violations may result on revocation of business permit, a fine of up to 10,000 RPS, or a week of detention.
Bringing guns in public places shall be banned until further notice. Violations may result on a fine of up to 10,000 RPS or a week of detention.
Ships along with their cargo entering any of the country's Special Economic Zones must be subject to thorough inspection.
Tours of the country's highly important buildings shall be prohibited until further notice.

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag, with the help of the National Security Council had decided to update the current measures following the bomb explosion in Hampton City.

Hampton City shall be put under lock down and only those with important engagements may go out of their homes.
The entire nation shall be put under the state of Martial Law.
National Threat Level will be raised to 5 - CRITICAL which means that an attack is imminently expected.
Only selected roads hall remain open to easily keep track of those coming in and out of the country's urban areas.
All flights to/from the country shall be suspended. Foreigners shall be repatriated back to their respective countries to ensure their safety.
The entire airspace of the country shall be closed to all aircraft except those permitted by the Reitzmic Government.
All airports shall be closed until further notice.
All non-frontline services shall be closed until further notice.
All active personnel of His Majesty's Royal Armed Forces shall be deployed to patrol everywhere, including the country's airspace and seaspace.
The curfew shall be extended from 9:30pm to 8:00pm and from 5:00am to 7:00am.

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag had been dissatisfied by the recent incident claiming the lives of our troops and citizens in the Union of Syndicates. It is therefore decided that the following measures be applied:

The entire country of the Kingdom of Reitzmag shall be put under lock down and only those with important engagements may go out of their homes.
Combat personnel shall now be responsible for evacuating our citizens and troops stranded in the Union of Syndicates. Should the Union of Syndicates try to stop us from conducting our operations, the troops are allowed to use armed force. All fighter aircraft across the country shall be prepared to act immediately when and where necessary.

UPDATE AND FURTHER MEASURES ON TERRORISM ATTACKS TO THE COUNTRY AND ITS ASSETS ABROAD

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag being dissatisfied by the recent events that risked the country's sovereignty, assets, and security. The following events were recently reported:

Josephine Areai and a large group of civilians, some armed, were arrested for violating the lockdown at a heavy offense. The Refugee Visa, Permanent Resident Visa, and Citizenship of those caught are now revoked. Other violators are now being hunted down by our Armed Force and Police.
The 4 remaining suspects that carried unregistered assault weapons and possible IEDs were arrested after a 10 minute shootout.
The car bomb that exploded in Hampton City was confirmed to have been made by a citizen of the Union of Syndicates that illegally immigrated to the country through Pravoslaviya.

Due to the situations reported above as well as the increasing terrorist activity in the country and in the Union of Syndicates, the following measures are applied:

The autonomous status of Copala City and New Saint Regina are hereby suspended until March 31 2021 following a vote in the House of Representatives (A:480 N:136 AB:94). The autonomous territories shall be under direct control of the Kingdom of Reitzmag temporarily for security reasons.
All are reminded that the restrictions in the entire country also apply to the autonomous territories.

In addition, we also reach to the Union of Syndicates Government to stop their fake news that our Armed Forces did not evacuate our citizens and instead evacuated wrong people. To the terrorists who hold our citizens and soldiers captive, we urge you to stand down and release our people at an extraction area before midnight (UTC+3) of February 25 2021 or face consequences.

STATEMENT ON THE RECENT ATTACK IN LEAGIO AND THE TERRORISM IN THE COUNTRY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag condemns the recent attack against the President of the Commonwealth of Leagio. Our Armed Forces that are stationed in Leagio are willing to offer further protection for the Leagioan Government to ensure that these kinds of attacks are avoided.

In addition, terrorism in the country had somehow decreased in the past few weeks following the declaration of Martial Law. However, the following incidents happened:

A rogue Cessna had been shot down near Copala City for flying with explosives attached to the wings and for not identifying itself upon multiple contacts from Air Traffic Control. The government had already identified the direction of origin of the plane and is seeking help in identifying the aircraft's country of origin.
7 bombs from the town of St. Bernard had been diffused successfully by our Armed Forces and Police at St. Bernard Beach. The suspects are now being hunted down after a successful identification through CCTV footages near the areas where the bombs were found.
Marine Marchand, Josephine Areai, and other violent independentists are now being tried in the Crown Court. The Government refuses the request from the Union of Syndicates to extradite those arrested.
A motion to repeal the Treat of Buckingham is now being voted by Parliament under the third/final reading.

With the following happenings, the government had decided to take the following measures:

The state of Martial Law shall end on March 31 2021 unless otherwise stated in the future.
The demonstrators in Copala City shall not be arrested unless violence had started. The city had already been cleared and secured from the terrorist attacks in the country.
National Threat Level will be lowered to 4 - SEVERE which means that an attack is expected imminently.
Reitzmic Airports may now be partially opened for some International Travel. Trade boundaries of the country will start to reopen slowly to ensure that no threat will come with goods entering the country's borders.

STATEMENT ON MEASURES REGARDING A TRANSITION OF AUTHORITY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag regrets the recent decision to repeal the Treaty of Buckingham. However, in order to prevent chaos in the governance system, the following provisions will be applied:

Businesses registered under the Copalan Autonomy are guaranteed that they may remain operational under former Copalan business laws until the Third Quarter of 2021 where a Business Review will be conducted whether businesses complied with Reitzmic business laws by the time of the review's conduct.
Border checks will remain for both persons and cargo until further notice.
Only the Autonomous Government of Copala City will be removed until further notice. Laws and other resolutions will remain applicable until the Third Quarter of 2021.
No displacement of individuals shall occur, residents of the area may remain and freely move around, in, and out of the region.
Updated Anti-terrorism measures to be announced moments after this announcement shall be applicable to the formerly leased areas.
The Government of Icholasen in exile are guaranteed to be able to remain operating in the country along with Temporarily Displaced Diplomatic Missions of other European Nations to Icholasen.

STATEMENT ON THE ISTKALENIAN DECLARATION OF WAR

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag had been surprised by the recent actions of its northern neighbor. Therefore, in order to ensure the security in the area, the following measures are applied:

The country's borders will once again be closed, military personnel shall guard all borders (especially the north).
The National Threat Level is raised to 5 - CRITICAL which means that an attack is imminently expected.
Troops from all over the country are ordered to be on the highest alert level and shall prepare for any incoming attacks from the borders.
Patrols shall be conducted on the Ural Mountains to prevent defections and border crossings. Anyone who attempts to cross the border shall be intervened for identification, people who try to forcefully cross the border and refuse to identify themselves may be shot dead by the Armed Forces.
Economic activity shall continue on the southern and northwestern borders of the country, the Northern border shall be heavily guarded to prevent invasion.
Should any Istkalen Armed Force enter the country, we shall declare war with them automatically and military procedures shall apply.

STATEMENT ON THE CROSSING OF ISTKALEN ARMED FORCES TO THE BORDER

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag informs the public that there had been defections on the northern border and hereby immediately orders the following:

The Kingdom of Reitzmag hereby declares war on Istkalen and authorizes its Armed Forces to march to Istkalen after defeating the defectors within the country.

STATEMENT ON THE ISTKALENIAN ATTACK ON REITZMIC CAMPS

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is unhappy to receive news that some of our troops had died in the strike missions conducted by the Istkalenian Armed Force. According to reports, the Istkalenian Armed Force tried to ambush and seize our camps through guerilla warfare. Some of the guerillas also attempted to capture our equipment, especially the artillery. Due to this, we are asking that the Istkalenian Government secede in their hostile actions and surrender to our terms. However, we are increasing our terms after what your forces have done to ours. We will deliver our ultimatum to your government via private communique that sets out our demands for a true surrender and secession of hostilities. We do not wish harm to both of our citizens, as well as citizens of Europe, so we ask that you end your aggressiveness for the sake of peace and prosperity.

STATEMENT ON THE BASELESS INCREASE IN SOUND TAXES

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is unhappy to receive news about the unilateral and baseless raising of sound taxes for Reitzmic and Moriagaru vessels in the Straits of Gibraltar and Adventuranza. We would like to remind everyone that the Reitzmic Government is not interfering with any of the proceedings in the Council, nor with the decisions of our representatives to it. The Office of the European Councilor for Reitzmag remains independent of the Reitzmic Government and that their opinions, stands, and statements in the chamber are not manipulated. Only information that we deem helpful to the Council proceedings are what we provide to our representative.

So we are asking the Government of the Kingdom of Spain to cease hostilities and aggression against the Kingdom of Reitzmag and the Kingdom of Moriagaru. We support the sovereign right of Moriagaru to at least 5km of territorial waters that are within their jurisdiction, and we condemn any form of harassment to vessels conducting innocent passage through whichever state's territorial waters. We would like to emphasize that peace and harmony throughout Europe would not be achieved with aggression and hostility and that this must stop to the most peaceful way possible unless such aggression poses threats to the sovereignty and national security of our country. Therefore, we invite the Kingdom of Moriagaru and the Kingdom of Spain to settle whichever dispute in their territorial waters and respect each other's sovereign rights to naval territory to the most peaceful and diplomatic way possible. For this moment, our country will not act unless that the actions are harming us and our allies in some way.

STATEMENT ON THE SITUATION IN STRATHAE

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag having received news of the recent events surrounding Reitzmics in Strathae decides to take action and protect the safety of its citizens currently in Strathae. Massive discrimination and violence had been observed and reported to be done by Strathaeans against Reitzmics. Therefore, the following measures are to be enacted immediately:

All Reitzmics are required to return back to the country within 48 hours of this announcement, free flights would be provided by the government at certain times. Strathaeans shall be banned from entering the country, all remaining shall be immediately sent back to their country within the next 48 hours. Failure to comply shall result in fines and/or other punishment.
Flights going to or from Strathae shall be banned, all Reitzmics are advised to avoid to travel bound the said country. These flights shall also encompass those who stop at airports in the Kingdom of Reitzmag.
All economic activity with the State of Strathae shall be banned until further notice.
All assets of Strathaean government officials in Reitzmag shall be frozen, diplomatic ties shall also be cut until further notice.

We advise the Government of Strathae to take action against these acts of aggression or we shall be forced to act accordingly for the sake of our people. Our state has been welcoming and acted positively with respect to all nationalities, and so we would not tolerate such unacceptable actions against our citizens who have done no wrong. Their freedom of expression and religion must be respected just as we respect the freedom of expression and religion of all foreign nationals visiting the country.

STATEMENT ON THE VIOLENCE IN COPALA CITY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its great disappointment to the departure of the United Dominions of Icholasen. However, we are very much angered by the unprofessional and rude way of addressing out nation. We have treated them fairly but received nothing but violence and pro-independentists who want to rob our nation of territorial land. In addition, the violence in Copala City which had been identified to be led by a group of Nicolezian Copalans who were supported by the Nicolezian Government. This act of violence and terrorism has led us to take the following measures:

National Threat Level is raised to 5 - CRITICAL which means that an attack is imminently expected.
A state of Martial Law shall be imposed in Copala City.
All forms of transit to or from Copala City shall be strictly monitored. Those who wish to exit shall be screened and scrutinized strictly. The Government will be happy to communicate with foreign governments on the repatriation of their citizens immediately.
The Reitzmic Coast Guard and Navy are tasked to patrol the waters for any attempt to escape.
The transit of Copalans to New Anastasia City shall be suspended until further notice.
Terrorists who created the situation shall be immediately arrested with a 100,000 RPS grant to those who could report and prove at least 5 people involved in the incident.

STATEMENT ON THE VOLCANIC ERUPTION IN NOFOAGA

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses grief over the recent situation in Nofoaga. Many people, Nofoagan or not, had been heavily affected by the unexpected catastrophe brought by a volcanic eruption. However, to cooperate and help in the international effort to tackle this disaster, our government must take action to protect the lives and safety of all persons in Nofoaga and help them in their recovery. The following measures shall be enacted:

Foreign Disaster Threat Level for Nofoaga shall be raised to 8 - SEVERELY DANGEROUS, therefore the area of the threat level's deployment is identified to be not safe for any activity.
In cooperation with the Spanish Government and the Nofoagan Government, we will conduct repatriation operations to evacuate all Reitzmic citizens stranded in Nofoaga back to Reitzmag.
All Nofoagans in Reitzmag shall be issued Refugee Visa under the Natural Disaster Category after the expiration of their visas. They shall be allowed to stay in the country and provided free accommodation granted they apply to the nearest Satellite Office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
All Nofoagans in Reitzmag are advised to not return to their country until the situation has returned to normal status and the Nofoagan Government has identified the entire country safe to begin recovery.
Flights bound for Nofoaga shall be suspended until the situation is deemed safe, flights may apply for emergency parking slots in the country's designated international airports and military bases.
The Kingdom of Reitzmag requests to the Government of Nofoaga to inform it through the best means of communication of any assistance that the country may provide for the rehabilitation and recovery of the country from this natural calamity.
All merchant and civilian vessels in the Kingdom of Reitzmag registered under Nofoaga shall be allowed to remain in the country's borders until further notice. Supplies such as food and water shall be provided by stranded ships.
All merchant and civilian vessels bound for Nofoaga registered under the Kingdom of Reitzmag are directed to suspend their journey until further notice and seek refuge in the borders of the nearest country relative to their location.

STATEMENT ON THE REBELLION IN COPALA CITY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is displeased to hear such violation of National Law by the people of Copala City in the form of rebellion as they declared unilateral independence from the state. It is recognizable from the statement made by the people behind this situation that they are armed to fight. Therefore, this forces us to act in proportional response. The said rebels are ordered to be arrested immediately, armed resistance may be met with violence. All military personnel deployed in Copala City must ensure that those who shall be transported to Anastasia City be safe, and they may use their weapons to defend themselves and the civilians. To tackle this, all Copalans who will move to Anastasia City outside of Bomballey shall be transferred to New Saint Regina for the meantime through a bus service to keep their safety. Non-rebels in Bomballey shall raise their arms and lower their weapons (if applicable) in surrender before approaching any military personnel to be kept safe. Bomballey shall also be locked from entry or exit from non-military personnel. Rebellion will never be tolerated in our state, and we are very disappointed of this response to our generosity to them by providing them their basic necessities.
