Ministry of Defence announces call for tenders to provide Defence Force with new vessels
The Ministry of Defence is announcing today that the Defence Force's naval capabilities will be expanded with the incorporation into the Maritime Force's fleet of a series of new units:
- 14 frigates
- 8 destroyers
- 4 cruisers
- 12 support vessels
- 2 amphibious assault carriers
- 1 standard aircraft carrier
- 1 supercarrier
- 5 nuclear attack submarines
Given the limitations facing Ineland's naval manufacturing industry when it comes to the construction of armed and military vessels, the Government of Ineland is therefore calling for international tenders to apply for contracts to provide our Defence Force with the necessary equipment to face the challenges of the next decade.
All applications -which may be aimed at fully or partially fulfiling the needs expressed in this call for tenders- may be directed to the Ministry of Defence's Office for Procurement and Maintenance at 35 Bingstraat, 12030 Kapstad.

Response to the address by the Spanish Prime Minister
In light of the aggressive and threatening remarks by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Jesús Aguilar, with regards to the Ineland-sponsored Freedom of Navigation Act that is currently being debated in the European Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has adopted the following measures:
- Recalling of the Ambassador of the United Principalities of Ineland to the Kingdom of Spain for consultations for an undefined period of time;
- Partial suspension of all economic cooperation with the Kingdom of Spain;
- Cancellation of all negotiations on military hardware acquisition from the Kingdom of Spain.
On behalf of the Government of the United Principalities of Ineland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to express its utmost shock at the attitudes expressed by the Government of the Kingdom of Spain. The Government considers that membership of an organisation such as the European Union entails a series of obligations, such as proper debate and democratic handling of disputes through appropriate channels, which the Government of the Kingdom of Spain doesn't seem keen on abiding by.
