Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Travel Ban to the Republic of Istkalen
28/6/2023
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Mishar Republic acknowledges the concerns and queries arising from the travel ban imposed on the Republic of Istkalen. We recognize the need to address the underlying reasons for this measure and provide a comprehensive explanation to our citizens and the international community.
The decision to implement a travel ban, with few exceptions, to the Republic of Istkalen has been made due to the prevailing extreme political climate, declaration of martial law, and the potential risks posed to the safety and well-being of travelers. The situation in Istkalen has witnessed a significant deterioration, with heightened tensions and escalating violence that have led to loss of life and the imposition of strict security measures.
Our primary objective is to ensure the protection and welfare of our citizens. The travel ban is a necessary precautionary measure in response to the alarming developments in Istkalen, including widespread civil unrest, armed conflicts, and an unpredictable security landscape. The safety and security of our citizens are of paramount importance, and this travel ban serves to mitigate the risks associated with traveling to the region.
Regrettably, the circumstances in Istkalen are such that exceptions to the travel ban are extremely limited. The imposition of martial law and the high level of uncertainty pose significant challenges in guaranteeing the safety of travelers, even in exceptional cases. We recognize the potential inconvenience and disruption this may cause to individuals with compelling reasons to travel to Istkalen, but our duty to protect lives necessitates this difficult decision.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains in close contact with diplomatic counterparts and international organizations to assess the evolving situation in Istkalen. We are actively monitoring developments and engaging in dialogue to facilitate a peaceful resolution and restore stability in the region. We emphasize that the travel ban is a temporary measure designed to safeguard our citizens during this critical period.
We understand the concern and disappointment among citizens who may have planned travel to Istkalen for various reasons, such as business, humanitarian work, or personal connections. We assure you that we are doing everything within our power to explore alternative means of assistance and support for affected individuals. Our consular services are available to provide guidance and offer necessary assistance to citizens impacted by this travel ban.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges all citizens to exercise caution and adhere to official travel advisories and notifications regarding the situation in Istkalen. We encourage citizens to maintain communication with our consular services and register their travel plans to receive timely updates and assistance, should circumstances change.
We recognize that this travel ban represents an extraordinary measure in response to an extraordinary situation. Our priority remains the safety and well-being of our citizens, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely, reassessing the travel ban as the circumstances in Istkalen evolve. We remain committed to working towards a peaceful resolution and a stable environment in which travel can be resumed safely.
For further inquiries, updates, or consular assistance, please contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through our dedicated communication channels.

The government of the Mishar Republic has passed new legislation allowing the establishment of the Ministry of Defence. The ministry will be set up in the following days and will oversee the newly founded Mishar army and war equipment including the state-owned companies that produce ammunition, guns, vehicles and
other equipment for the army.
Mishar Republic has an Army!
With the founding of the Ministry of Defence, the parliament also established the "Armaada Mishaarskee Republiky (Armaada MR)".
