Victoria City, September 25 2021 | A joint venture company between Samsung Heavy Industries of Reitzmag and Tidis Technologies of the United Duchies called Samsung Tidis International had unveiled the first passenger aircraft powered by electricity named "Electra". The project was supported by more or less 5 other Duchian and Reitzmic companies such as aerospace manufacturer DAE and automobile giant Tesla Inc. The aircraft is based on the Samsung Caravan and fitted with a newly developed DAE Tesla E1 Engine. Transport Minister Herbert Boyle attended the unveiling ceremony at the Samsung Heavy Industries Headquarters at Victoria City and said that the development of greener transportation methods is key in the country's efforts to combat climate change and use renewable energy options. BA CityFlyer and other regional airlines have already stated their interests in buying the Electra. Currently, the aircraft is still set for further testing before being introduced into the market.
