[Kingdom of Reitzmag]

The Central Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is the state-owned broadcasting network of the Kingdom of Reitzmag that delivers entertainment, news, and broadcast media through different platforms. Its international news division, CBC World News, is the largest provider of both local and international news to various parts of the world. Broadcasts by the CBC are available in multiple languages, and are delivered with state-of-the-art multimedia and graphics.

The CBC operates under a royal charter, with the current one having come to effect on October 18 2014. The charter sets the provisions and arrangements for the management of the CBC, and protects its editorial independence from government intervention. The company is managed by the CBC Executive Board (replaced the CBC Council of Governors in 2003), and is regulated by the Commission on Media and Telecommunications under the Department for Information and Communication. The current chief executive of the CBC is Director-General Timothy Douglas Davie CRE, and the current head of the CBC Executive Board is Chairman Richard Simon Sharp.

Breaking News: Coun. Hufton passes at 45

Mr. Ben Hufton, councilor of the European Union for the United Reichs of Reitzmag was declared dead at 3:45 pm February 9 ,2020 GMT+8. The councilor had suffered Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and was admitted at the Humperies Reichmic General Hospital since January 20, 2020.

Europolis, Feb. 13 2020 GMT+8 - After the death of Coun. Ben Hufton, his successor by law is Dep. Coun. Friedrich van Allen. Yesterday, he went to the EU Council chamber not as deputy but as an official EU Councilor. He is expected to also attend the funeral of the late Coun. Ben Hufton by tomorrow.

Royal Rail Transit under construction, will use Magnetic Levitation

Parliament City, Feb 19 2020 GMT+8 - The Cabinet of the United Reichs of Reitzmag as headed by PM Mark Johnson launches a new transportation project. A new railway system would be built with 121 Stations around the whole country which would run through all reichs and cities. The project is called Royal Rail Transit and would have 23 different lines and 40 common stations including the Central Hampton Station. According to Engr. Robert Swinder, the project had been planed since August of 2019. Now, the project had started with 68 construction sites around the country that would build 40 of the 121 stations simultaneously. The project contractor that won the bidding is the Surplus Power Construction Co. A final diagram and map of the stations will be published next week by the newly established Royal Rail Transit Authority.

Rumors had also spread that the government will connect 12 stations of the Royal Rail Transit to the proposed Schengen inter-European Railway after the Treaty of Victoria is finished and enacted.

URR partners with Spain, starts trans-European train project

Europolis, Feb 23 2020 GMT+8 - Coun. Friedrich van Allen of the URR and Coun. Alfonso Rodriguez of Spain secretly met last Feb 22 2020 at the Office of the Reitzmic Councilor. In an interview by the CBC News with the two councilors, the agenda of the meetings was primarily about the proposed Treaty of Victoria which will be discussed this week at the EU Council. According to Coun. Hufton, he was the main proponent of the treaty and he proposed that it be signed at Victoria City, Reich of Zucheibstein, URR. CBC News had an exclusive access to the initial draft of the agreement which includes a trans-European railway system.
Spain and the URR analyzed immediately the theoretically extraneous variables that could affect the project. And as said by the Cabinet of the URR, the Royal Rail Transit will be linked to the EuroStar. It is also announced that there will be 10 common stations shared by the EuroStar and the RRT.

URR to give 40 customized Airbus A340-300 for EU Councilors' use

Arkinson city, Feb 27 2020 GMT+8 - HM George I orders 40 customized Airbus A340-300 with a livery of the European Union. In a speech at Europolis last Feb 25 2020 GMT+8, the king said that these 40 customized planes will be given by the URR for transportation of each Councilor of the EU including that of the URR. He explained that 39 of the planes will be under the ownership of the EU and that will be under the responsibility of the EU for maintenance. One of the planes will remain under the URR's ownership and responsibility.

HM George I shows support to EU; praises councilors from Spain, Inquista, and Vayinaod

Montreal Estate City, Feb 29 2020 GMT+8 | HM George I on his recent speech this morning at the Royal Assembly is filled with support to the European Union. According to him, the EU became an instrument to better international relations between the URR and EU member-states. He also emphasized the integrity of the councilors from Spain, Inquista, and Vayinaod. The councilors will be awarded the Order of the Blue Eagle which is given to people from other nations that helped boost relations between the URR and their country of origin.

Reitzmic Government to provide aid to Dromund Kaas refugees

Brewnest City, Feb 29 2020 GMT+8 | The Grand Royal Air Force of the United Reichs of Reitzmag Chief of Staff, Sir Malcolm Fenderson Granger, announced that HM George I and PM Mark Johnson had approved his request that the URR would send military aid in the refugee deal between Gallorum and Angleter. The Kingdom of Spain already announced that they would also be sending aid to the Refugee deal.

Grand Royal Armed Forces to replace 31 military vehicles for better nuclear technology

Brewnest City, March 1 2020 GMT+8 | The Grand Royal Armed Forces released a statement this morning that they will decommission 31 vehicles in exchange for nuclear technology development and weapons of mass destruction. Activists against WMDs marched in front of Camp Col. Quint to object against this move. But this motion had already been given a go signal by HM George I.

URR Ministry of Information Communication and Technology launches official website of the nation

Parliament CIty, Mar 1 2020 GMT+8 | Min. Raymond Osborne of the MICT announced recently that the URR now has an official website. According to him, the website is still under further development though already accessible by the public. The main purpose of the site is for information about the URR which is mostly seen in the factbook page.

The king refers to an article released yesterday by The National Observer. He also objected on PM Isla's statement against his airplane gifts to the European Union which according to him is a "self-indulgent" and" out-of-touch" nature of the EU.

Embraer signs defense contract with Grand Royal Armed Forces

Victoria city, Mar 2 2020 GMT+8 | After the arrival of Coun. Tusk and Min. Dastis of Spain, crowds had gathered around the streets to celebrate the first spanish delegates to a summit in the URR. In a phone call with Coun. van Allen, he said that the two delegates were delighted to be here and to also receive the news about adding Spanish as an official language of the nation. EuroStar-RRT linking system gets official map for Main Trans-Reichmic Line

Parliament City, Mar 5 2020 GMT+8 | Min. Herbert Boyle of the Ministry of Transportation released recently in a press conference at F. Humperies Palace the official map of the linking system between RRT Main Line and the EuroStar project, the number of stations were increased and so as the linking stations. According to Min. Boyle, the maps of the linking system for the RRT West Line, RRT North-Northeast Line, and RRT South-Southeast Line are to be released by the following days. Breaking News: Missile explodes off the coast of the Riech of Pantoria, traced trajectory coming from Dromund Kaas

Brewnest City, Mar 9 2020 GMT+8 | Locals living near the coast of Pantoria Bay are disturbed by an explosion. Local authorities found that a small missile had landed off the shore. The Grand Royal Armed Forces immediately was alerted and found that the missile had a trajectory originating from the rogue state of Dromund Kaas. This raised the emergency level to 4 for areas under a 14 km radius away from the explosion site. The Grand Royal Armed Forces said that they are ready in case of an impending attack or if HM George I gives a declaration of war with the said rogue state.

Brewnest city, Mar 10 2020 GMT+8 | Grand Royal Armed Forces raised emergency level 5 at the Reich of E. Moreland after a surprise attack last night that captured the entire region. HM George I announced a while ago a declaration of Martial Law on the whole eastern portion of the nation. Troops immediately were sent from their base at the Reichs of S. Moreland and Harmock through air-drops. Coun. Friedrich van Allen immediately left the nation for Europolis to call for an emergency meeting to ask for military aid against the rebels.

Brewnest city, Mar 11 2020 GMT+8 | Grand Royal Armed Forces recently reported that the Communist Rebels had started to take over the Reichs of Phantiodon, S. Moreland, and Harmock. Meanwhile, Coun. Friedrich van Allen confirmed that Inquista would send troops to fight against the rebels. HM George I announced that this would be considered now as a Civil War.

Breaking News: 5 missiles detonated on Communist bases in E. Moreland, URR secures all borders and forms of entry and exit


Brewnest City, Mar 11 2020 GMT+8 | Grand Royal Armed Forces detects 5 missiles launched from outside the URR that was detonated on a Communist Base in E. Moreland. As seen from images caught by a spy plane, one of 23 Communist Bases were destroyed in the incident. HM George I declared full Martial Law on the entire URR with accreditation from the Royal Assembly. All borders and forms of entry and exit are fully guarded.

URR may declare temporary isolation from all nations, only foreign aid could enter

Parliament City, Mar 11 GMT+8 | Min. Nicholas Harris of the Ministry of State Borders announced a travel ban between the URR and other nations with a major Communist Party. He also added that the URR may have temporary isolation except for Military Aid from accredited countries such as Icholasen and Inquista. Flights would automatically be re-booked to other dates that would be announced by the Ministry of State Borders.
