KC: Well, and with that, all of this Edition's contestants have performed! We are about to open the voting, but before we do that, Luis wanted to say something...

LM: Indeed, Kelly! Twenty years ago, one of the most famous Christmas films was released, The Polar Express; a Spanish film that a whole generation of kids has grown up with. I am not going to spoil the film to you, so as the contest takes place, why don't you join RTVE and us in celebrating its anniversary?

KC: Christmas is really a special season to all of us, but during this times, many people work to make this festive season even more special. One of those are orchestras, and tonight, we are welcoming the Málaga's Philarmonic Orchestra, playing the famous song from the Polar Express... 'When Christmas Comes to Town'!

(When Christmas Comes to Town is played by the orchestra and, surprisingly, Kelly and Miguel sing together. After the performance, Lyndra Woodruff appears on stage)

LW: HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO! IT'S MEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm Lynda Woodruff and I am the European Union Broadcasting Corporation's spokesperson, ready to serve Mr. Paco Paco Pacoooooooo Karrrrrrrrrlikoooooos. ¡HOLA PACOOOOOOOOOOO!

(The camera shows the Executive Supervisor smiling, he waves back at Lynda)

I love you Paquitooooo. Just for you to know, I'll be at the Tejeringo's next corner eating some churros when the show ends. Maybe you want to come? Think about it, you know...

I am here, as I said, as a spokesperson for the EUBC... And because Kelly and Luis have a costume change. I have not said this, but you know how much of an honour it is to me to share the stage with them... I wish I could be underneath Luis' tree this Christmas! Oh, sorry Paloma!

(The crowd laughs and applauds)

Well, during the last few days, you have been able to ask me some of your doubts about EuroVoice, and the first question comes from Mister John Keyless... "Why are we in Spain?". Well John, that is a question Spaniards ask themselves every summer when hordes of tourists invade their beaches... Basically, Ineland won, but they forgot they had to host, so we ended up here!

The second question is from Sam... Would you like a discount in Scandalo tonight?

(The crowds laughs loudly)

Oh, IT'S SPAM! Nah, I am going to delete this... I am spending the night partying in Torremolinos with my fellow LGTBIQA+ community members...

(The crowd cheers in excitement, Lynda starts walking to the edge of the stage)

LM: And now, while we get the votes from the contestants' nations, we are now welcoming a very well known artist to the contest. Born in Málaga, grown in this very same town, he is one of the most influential artists in Spain and certainly, one of the most famous of the region...

KC: Nominated to several Latin Grammies and to one Grammy, he has released six albums and in 2011, he won the RTVE Album of the Year Award; and has 30 platinum and 3 golden discs. And one of the nominations he got was for the song he is singing tonight...

LM: We are a few moments away from jumping into the results, but before we proceed, there is still one performance left. He has been the Spanish artist of the year, and the song that he is performing tonight has been the most listened in Spain, in all platforms...

KC: Back in April, he released his first solitary album, under the name of 'Fireworks and Rollerblades', and tonight, he is here to prove everyone that he is here to stay. Ladies and gentlemen, I am very honoured to introduce you to... BENSON BOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!

KC: I think the Spanish gymnastics team might have found a new athlete for the Olympics! Thank you very much to Benson, to Malmö 040 and to Pablo Alborán for their awesome performances, you were simply amazing tonight.

LM: With that said, it is time to go to the very demanded Executive Supervisor of the EuroVoice Song Contest, who also happens to be the Executive Supervisor of the European Union Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Francisco Karlikos! Boss, are we good to go?

(The crowd cheers in excitement)

FK: Good evening Luis and Kelly, good evening Europe! Firstly, I would like to thank RTVE for organising the contest, as well as to our competing nations for their participation in another edition of this wonderful contest. The European Union Broadcasting Corporation is pleased to have found a solution to the inactivity on the preparations that the competition requires, and we apologise for the delay on the celebration of this Edition. Anyway, I can confirm that we have received all the votes, so Luis and Kelly... Take it away!

KC: We are halfway through the results, and I believe it is time to make some sort of review to check on how this is going. On first place we have Istkalen, leading comfortably with 51 points...

LM: On second place we have the Joint Nicoleizian EuroVoice Team with 43 points; and on a tight fight for third place, Red Croatia wins that fight at the moment with 37 points in their pockets. Nonetheless, it is still too soon to call anyone a winner, so stay tuned for more!

KC: Now comes the turn of one of the contenders for the victory of this Edition... Good evening Istkalen!

RJS: ¡Buenas noches Málaga! This is Istkalen and Pope Tabitha calling. The competition remains fierce tonight, and now it is my time to reveal who has gotten the maximum points from us. Our 12 points go to... the NICOLEIZIAN JOINT EUROVOICE TEAM! Thank you ladies and gentlemen, Jesus is Lord!

KC: Red Croatia still on the lead with 64 points, keeping that three points distance with the 2nd place, now held by the Nicoleizian Joint EuroVoice team. And in an epic comeback is Elthize, which is now only 4 points away from first place. Two juries left!

LM: We are heading out of the European Union for the next round of votes. Good evening to the Conch Kingdom!

(The EUBC signal connects with the Executive Supervisor, Francisco Karlikos. The crowd reacts surprised)

FK: Excuse me, Luis; but the Conch Kingdom has not sent any spokesperson to deliver their votes, so I will be the one taking them away.

LM: No worries, Francisco. You are good to go!

FK: Thank you, Luis. The Conch Kingdom's 12 points go to... Reitzmag! Back to you guys!

KC: REITZMAG, twelve points! ¡Reitzmag, doce puntos! Thank you very much, Francisco!

(The crowd is more excited as the results update)

KC: Luis, with only a single jury left, we should make a brief summary of how things are looking, shouldn't we?

LM: Very much indeed! RED CROATIA on the lead with 69 points, but just 6 points behind stand ELTHIZE and FREMET, with 63 points each. MISHAR and SPAIN are also still contending for the victory, with 60 and 58 points respectively. The Nicoleizian Joint EuroVoice Team is the next nation to vote, so they are sadly out of the race. Kelly, what does every single nation need to win?

KC: That is a great question, Luis. Red Croatia needs to score more points than any of the named nations. Elthize could win with 6 points if Red Croatia scored 0, but if Red Croatia scores, they need to have one more point scored than the Mediterranean nation, as well as Fremet to score less than them. Fremet can also win with 6 points if Red Croatia does not score, but if they do, they would need one more point than our neighbours. However, if Red Croatia scores 7 points or more, it's game over.

LM: Mishar needs 10 or 12 points, Elthize and Fremet to score less than 6, adding that if Red Croatia scores a 4 or more, they are out. Finally, Spain needs a miracle: 12 points, Red Croatia not to score, Elthize and Fremet to score less than 7 points and Mishar, to score less than 10.

KC: That was a lot of info, but the Eurofans are really strong, intelligent people! Okay guys, let's do this. Luis, are you ready?

LM: I am. MÁLAGA, PALACIO DE LOS DEPORTES MARTÍN CARPENA... ARE YOU READY?
