STATEMENT ON THE BASELESS INCREASE IN SOUND TAXES

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is unhappy to receive news about the unilateral and baseless raising of sound taxes for Reitzmic and Moriagaru vessels in the Straits of Gibraltar and Adventuranza. We would like to remind everyone that the Reitzmic Government is not interfering with any of the proceedings in the Council, nor with the decisions of our representatives to it. The Office of the European Councilor for Reitzmag remains independent of the Reitzmic Government and that their opinions, stands, and statements in the chamber are not manipulated. Only information that we deem helpful to the Council proceedings are what we provide to our representative.

So we are asking the Government of the Kingdom of Spain to cease hostilities and aggression against the Kingdom of Reitzmag and the Kingdom of Moriagaru. We support the sovereign right of Moriagaru to at least 5km of territorial waters that are within their jurisdiction, and we condemn any form of harassment to vessels conducting innocent passage through whichever state's territorial waters. We would like to emphasize that peace and harmony throughout Europe would not be achieved with aggression and hostility and that this must stop to the most peaceful way possible unless such aggression poses threats to the sovereignty and national security of our country. Therefore, we invite the Kingdom of Moriagaru and the Kingdom of Spain to settle whichever dispute in their territorial waters and respect each other's sovereign rights to naval territory to the most peaceful and diplomatic way possible. For this moment, our country will not act unless that the actions are harming us and our allies in some way.

STATEMENT ON THE SITUATION IN STRATHAE

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag having received news of the recent events surrounding Reitzmics in Strathae decides to take action and protect the safety of its citizens currently in Strathae. Massive discrimination and violence had been observed and reported to be done by Strathaeans against Reitzmics. Therefore, the following measures are to be enacted immediately:

All Reitzmics are required to return back to the country within 48 hours of this announcement, free flights would be provided by the government at certain times. Strathaeans shall be banned from entering the country, all remaining shall be immediately sent back to their country within the next 48 hours. Failure to comply shall result in fines and/or other punishment.
Flights going to or from Strathae shall be banned, all Reitzmics are advised to avoid to travel bound the said country. These flights shall also encompass those who stop at airports in the Kingdom of Reitzmag.
All economic activity with the State of Strathae shall be banned until further notice.
All assets of Strathaean government officials in Reitzmag shall be frozen, diplomatic ties shall also be cut until further notice.

We advise the Government of Strathae to take action against these acts of aggression or we shall be forced to act accordingly for the sake of our people. Our state has been welcoming and acted positively with respect to all nationalities, and so we would not tolerate such unacceptable actions against our citizens who have done no wrong. Their freedom of expression and religion must be respected just as we respect the freedom of expression and religion of all foreign nationals visiting the country.

STATEMENT ON THE VIOLENCE IN COPALA CITY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its great disappointment to the departure of the United Dominions of Icholasen. However, we are very much angered by the unprofessional and rude way of addressing out nation. We have treated them fairly but received nothing but violence and pro-independentists who want to rob our nation of territorial land. In addition, the violence in Copala City which had been identified to be led by a group of Nicolezian Copalans who were supported by the Nicolezian Government. This act of violence and terrorism has led us to take the following measures:

National Threat Level is raised to 5 - CRITICAL which means that an attack is imminently expected.
A state of Martial Law shall be imposed in Copala City.
All forms of transit to or from Copala City shall be strictly monitored. Those who wish to exit shall be screened and scrutinized strictly. The Government will be happy to communicate with foreign governments on the repatriation of their citizens immediately.
The Reitzmic Coast Guard and Navy are tasked to patrol the waters for any attempt to escape.
The transit of Copalans to New Anastasia City shall be suspended until further notice.
Terrorists who created the situation shall be immediately arrested with a 100,000 RPS grant to those who could report and prove at least 5 people involved in the incident.

STATEMENT ON THE VOLCANIC ERUPTION IN NOFOAGA

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses grief over the recent situation in Nofoaga. Many people, Nofoagan or not, had been heavily affected by the unexpected catastrophe brought by a volcanic eruption. However, to cooperate and help in the international effort to tackle this disaster, our government must take action to protect the lives and safety of all persons in Nofoaga and help them in their recovery. The following measures shall be enacted:

Foreign Disaster Threat Level for Nofoaga shall be raised to 8 - SEVERELY DANGEROUS, therefore the area of the threat level's deployment is identified to be not safe for any activity.
In cooperation with the Spanish Government and the Nofoagan Government, we will conduct repatriation operations to evacuate all Reitzmic citizens stranded in Nofoaga back to Reitzmag.
All Nofoagans in Reitzmag shall be issued Refugee Visa under the Natural Disaster Category after the expiration of their visas. They shall be allowed to stay in the country and provided free accommodation granted they apply to the nearest Satellite Office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
All Nofoagans in Reitzmag are advised to not return to their country until the situation has returned to normal status and the Nofoagan Government has identified the entire country safe to begin recovery.
Flights bound for Nofoaga shall be suspended until the situation is deemed safe, flights may apply for emergency parking slots in the country's designated international airports and military bases.
The Kingdom of Reitzmag requests to the Government of Nofoaga to inform it through the best means of communication of any assistance that the country may provide for the rehabilitation and recovery of the country from this natural calamity.
All merchant and civilian vessels in the Kingdom of Reitzmag registered under Nofoaga shall be allowed to remain in the country's borders until further notice. Supplies such as food and water shall be provided by stranded ships.
All merchant and civilian vessels bound for Nofoaga registered under the Kingdom of Reitzmag are directed to suspend their journey until further notice and seek refuge in the borders of the nearest country relative to their location.

STATEMENT ON THE REBELLION IN COPALA CITY

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag is displeased to hear such violation of National Law by the people of Copala City in the form of rebellion as they declared unilateral independence from the state. It is recognizable from the statement made by the people behind this situation that they are armed to fight. Therefore, this forces us to act in proportional response. The said rebels are ordered to be arrested immediately, armed resistance may be met with violence. All military personnel deployed in Copala City must ensure that those who shall be transported to Anastasia City be safe, and they may use their weapons to defend themselves and the civilians. To tackle this, all Copalans who will move to Anastasia City outside of Bomballey shall be transferred to New Saint Regina for the meantime through a bus service to keep their safety. Non-rebels in Bomballey shall raise their arms and lower their weapons (if applicable) in surrender before approaching any military personnel to be kept safe. Bomballey shall also be locked from entry or exit from non-military personnel. Rebellion will never be tolerated in our state, and we are very disappointed of this response to our generosity to them by providing them their basic necessities.

STATEMENT ON THE NOVEL VIRUS IN BRICKSTON

The Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its concern over the spread of a new unknown virus in Brickston. This new virus may cause significant threat over the country's security and safety, as well as its economic and trade affairs. Therefore, it is in our capacity to ensure the safety of the people of Reitzmag through the following policies:

National Health Alert Level is raised to LEVEL 2 - CONCERNING (raised when a disease of concern has confirmed cases outside the country)
All flights to or from Brickston shall be suspended starting 12:00nn today until July 30 12:00nn. This shall include connecting flights passing through Brickston.
Issuance of visas for people in Brickston shall be suspended until further notice. However, our diplomatic missions in the said country will remain to operate.
All Reitzmics in Brickston are advised to return back to Reitzmag as soon as possible. Our Armed Forces will cooperate with the Brickstonian Government on repatriation efforts when the flight suspension is enacted. Reitzmics shall also be advised to avoid travelling to Brickston and other countries with confirmed cases of said virus.
Vaccine manufacturers and research laboratories in Reitzmag are encouraged to study and identify the new virus and begin the manufacture of possible remedies and vaccines. Envoys of these research facilities may request for secure travel to Brickston if necessary.

STATEMENT ON PIRACY IN THE CASPIAN SEA

It has come to the attention of the Government of the Kingdom of Reitzmag that there had been incidents of piracy in the Central and Southern Caspian Sea involving Kaasian Pirates. This had been confirmed this morning by HM Coastguard, which was met with violence by the said pirates. To this, we have decided to mobilize our Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Armed Forces of the United Duchies, to patrol our trade routes. The following measures shall take effect immediately after this announcement is published through the Government Communication Service:

A special task force called "Caspian Alpha", composed of the ships detailed below, shall be sent to conduct regular patrols in the Central and Southern Caspian in collaboration with our Duchian Partners.

The intentions of HM Government and the Royal Armed Forces for the operations to be conducted are purely for the safety and security of the region, we reiterate that we do not support any form of terrorism or piracy. In addition, our goals are to enforce international law with minimal bloodshed by refraining to fire weapons unless necessary. Any violation of the Armed Forces Code of Conduct, such as hostile and unreasonable firing, shall not be tolerated within the ranks of the Armed Forces (both within and outside of the Caspian Alpha.
Seafarers or fishermen from any country who have encountered these pirates may report the incidents to their local police or assigned government agency. These reports will be helpful in this initiative of the Caspian Countries to ensure that the Caspian shall remain peaceful and far from any conflict.
We request that the Governments of North Diessen and Pravoslaviya join the Kingdom of Reitzmag and United Duchies in this effort, and that the international community recognize that our actions are for the betterment of society.

Despite the size of the Caspian Sea, we believe that a joint effort will help us achieve our goals. STATEMENT ON THE DEPLOYMENT OF NAVAL SHIPS IN ADVENTURANZA

The Kingdom of Reitzmag confirms the deployment of Royal Navy Ships off the coast of the Federal Republic of Yosai. As an ally of said country, we are bound by treaty to defend and assist them in defending their maritime assets. In this situation wherein naval ships of two large European powers have been deployed in great readiness to assert their unacceptable imperialist claims, it is our duty to assist our friends in maintaining control over their sovereign territories. We will not be threatened and will be ready to fight, to the last man when necessary, in order to maintain peace and stability in the Mediterranean Region. The outlandish claims of the Kingdom of Spain and Empire of Inimicus are nothing short of piracy and terrorism. Our opposition does not come from the imposition of taxes on the said area, but on the matter of control and territorial rights in the Strait of Adventuranza.

Despite this, we assure that our ships are not present to escalate the situation but to assist in committing our responsibilities as set out by treaties prior to this time. We invite, the Empire of Inimicus to immediately halt any naval operations in the area in exchange for the immediate suspension of our operations. As may have been noticed, we have also acted too late to be considered hostile. We have judged that such operation was necessary only because of the recent actions from the Kingdom of Spain and Empire of Inimicus.

Finally, we call for all parties to cease any escalation in this misunderstanding. We hope that the Kingdom of Spain also cease their arrogant and unacceptable claims on territorial rights. It is only this way that we will be able to resolve this issue without the use of arms.

UPDATE ON THE DEPLOYMENT OF NAVAL SHIPS IN ADVENTURANZA

The Kingdom of Reitzmag reaffirms that its missions in Adventuranza are purely in assistance of the Federal Republic of Yosai. Our actions were prompted only in response to the presence of Inimician naval vessels in their territorial waters. And therefore, we reiterate our demand that the Empire of Inimicus withdraw all their deployments if they want us to withdraw our naval ships preparing for deployment.

In addition, the sizeable force of the Spanish Armed Forces are far superior to that of the Federal Republic of Yosai. Therefore, their operations in collaboration with the Empire of Inimicus, is clearly an attempt to exert unjust influence to our ally. As such, we will not withdraw our forces prepared for deployment unless the Empire of Inimicus or any party, other than the Kingdom of Spain and Federal Republic of Yosai, withdraws their naval deployments which we see as a threat to the sovereign right of the Federal Republic of Yosai to their coastal waters.

We respect the ongoing peaceful negotiations between the Federal Republic of Yosai and the Kingdom of Spain, and invites other nations to also respect these diplomatic efforts. This is unlike what the Governments of Inimicus and Spain have been misinforming the general public recently. Our intended deployment is strictly within the recognized territorial waters of the Federal Republic of Yosai (under the 50% rule) and for the purposes of freedom of navigation, unlike what the Empire of Inimicus and Kingdom of Spain which both are conducting operations extending to the shores of the Federal Republic of Yosai.

The Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its gratitude to the Empire of Inimicus for listening to our demands and requests. We reaffirm that our intentions for the recent deployment was for the assistance to the Federal Republic of Yosai in protecting their interests and sovereign rights. However, we are true to our words and promises. Therefore, the Prime Minister publicly orders the withdrawal of all ships of the Royal Navy tasked under Operation Blue Hydra and immediately return back to their respective ports of deployment. The Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its concern over the recent situation in Nofoaga and the sudden change of administration along with heavy restrictions on information around the country. The government wishes that the Government of the Republic of Nofoaga cooperates for the safety and security of all Reitzmic Nationals in the country. In addition to this, we also ask that the Government of the Republic of Nofoaga answer, with great truthfulness, our questions and clear our concerns that the situation may affect the country's national security. STATEMENT ON THE EXTREMIST GROUPS IN ANASTASIA CITY

The Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its concern over the situation in the United Duchies and has decided to take measures to prevent possible rise of extremism in the country. After further deliberation, the National Security Council had added 46 names of individuals related to the attacks in Copala City, now Caspian City, last year to the Terror List. The individuals' identities had been verified and investigated thoroughly by the National Intelligence Service prior to this decision. The investigations to be conducted with the Duchian Police may result in more names to be added to the Terror List.

As per protocol, individuals in the Terror List are immediately arrested and sentenced according to the charges proven against them in court. Terrorists who carry any deadly weapon are immediately shot to be immobilized and taken for hospital arrest before being sentenced in court. Individuals usually in the terror list are sentenced to lifetime imprisonment without bail.

STATEMENT ON THE RECENT SITUATION IN THE VATICAN

The Kingdom of Reitzmag sends its worries over the violent take-over of a terrorist group led by an anti-pope to the general public. Our nation has long been ruled by Catholic rulers and it is unacceptable to us how the Vatican is destroyed this way. We are currently cooperating with the Spanish Armed Forces on operations and joint efforts at retaking and securing the city-state, as well as the conduct of humanitarian and logistical missions in the Vatican. Such situation would have not been possible if the Istkalenian Government had not let these terrorists flee their airspace, and therefore also call for an investigation to be conducted on how these terrorists were able to gather arms and equipment to conduct such invasion. JOINT STATEMENT OF THE EUROPEAN COALITION

We, the Governments of the Republic of Brickston, the Kingdom of Reitzmag, the United Duchies, and the Federal Republic of Yosai, who form the European Coalition of Nations, express our condemnation of the irrational response from the members of the Treaty of Telum.

Our conduct of a practice bombing was an exercise of our capability to support our allies, and that no country without any intention of invading or threatening the sovereignty of our allies or our nation shall feel threatened. We also debunk that there is "environmental terrorism" during such exercises, especially due to the fact that such was conducted in an area specially designated for training. It is also concerning how the members of the Treaty of Telum has informed us of the existence of a "Southern European Sphere of Influence", something that clearly shows the still ongoing colonialist and hegemonic mentality from the said group. Our nations are independent and sovereign, and that we reserve the right to conduct whatever internal affairs within our nations' boundaries. The parties involved had authorized the conduct of such missions and that there is no intention of conducting any offensive mission against any of the members of the Treaty of Telum. Finally, we also clarify that the location of such exercises were clearly stated to be on the Duchian mountains and is therefore very far from the boundaries of the Kingdom of Spain and Empire of Inimicus unlike what they claim in their statement.

We hope that this statement clarifies the situation and shows how our nations are treated only as "underdogs" by the members of the Treaty of Telum.

ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE JOINT SHIELD PROGRAM

We, the Governments of the Republic of Brickston, the Kingdom of Reitzmag, the United Duchies, and the Federal Republic of Yosai, who form the European Coalition of Nations, express its greetings to all.

Following a meeting between the members of the European Coalition, through the Defence Council, the Joint Shield Program has been established. This program aims to establish a unified Air Defence System among its members to protect its assets from possible incursion and attacks. In addition, various Surface to Air Missile Systems, Anti-Air Artillery Systems, and Anti-Ballistic Missile Systems, have been considered and certified to be fielded and participate in this program. Through this joint program, members are given a significant increase in national defence against any aerial threats, including nuclear weapons. Apart from the deployment of ground-based air defence assets, members are also establishing a joint datalink system to allow sharing of intelligence from any possible sources, including sea, land, and air-based equipment. This will enhance our nations' capability in cooperating to protect the interests of each other, and ensuring the safety and security of our people.

This program shall form part of our joint initiative for enhancing our defence capabilities along with the Joint Procurement Program. We hope that our programs pose no threat to other nations unless otherwise such has intentions of aggression against any of our members. The intentions of these programs are for the defence of our nations and are not intent on aggression against any nation. To this end, we urge more nations to join the European Coalition to participate in our cooperative programs, that also reach to Economic and Civil Development Cooperation.

STATEMENT ON THE SVARNAN AGGRESSION IN THE CASPIAN

The Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses concern over the recent aggressive acts undertaken by the Naval Branch of the Armed Forces of Svarna Surya, specifically the seizure and captivation of the crew of two commercial vessels flying our nation's flag as a means to demand the forced deportation of political dissidents seeking refuge in the country. We greatly condemn these erratic acts by the Government of Svarna Surya and seek to peacefully put an end to this petty conflict. However, all our efforts to reach out and negotiate diplomatically have failed and thus left us with very limited choices. Having considered the past relationship between our nations, and the situations unfolding locally in the country, we have deemed that the regime in power in such nation as intolerable and must be removed with whatever means necessary.

Through long discussions and consultation with our allies and top experts and diplomats, we have arrived at the conclusion that we may only treat the recent event as an act of war from the Svarnan nation. As such, we are coordinating in every possible way the beginning of military operations to secure our citizens and bring justice to those that perished from the hostile acts of the authoritative militaristic regime that rules a nation that deserves peace and stability.

Due to this, we have placed all branches of the Armed Forces, the Coastguard, and the National Constabulary on high alert for possible retaliatory measures that may occur as a result of our operations. We also welcome cooperation from other nations, to join in aiding Svarnans take refuge from the war in their home nation and help in our humanitarian efforts. We assure each and everyone, that our forces will do their best to minimize civilian casualties and damage to property to easily rebuild the nation back when the objective is reached.

We have also placed Svarnan persons of interest that are seeking refuge in the country in high security to protect them from more attacks. Sanctions packages are also expected to be passed within the next few days on the Svarnan government, and against key persons such as President Neha Bhatavadekar and other top military and government officials.

STATEMENT ON FOREIGN HUMANITARIAN SUPPOR

The Kingdom of Reitzmag expresses its deep gratitude to all nations extending a helping hand in support of those who may be affected by this war, especially the civilian population of Svarna Surya, through Humanitarian Support. It is in our deep interest to protect the lives of those innocent people and open our arms to any aid that may be provided in supporting our humanitarian efforts during this war. Our nation recognizes that, because of current financial limitations and other factors, we are only able to support no more than 200 additional families that seek refuge in our nation.

We would like to confirm, that our nation is expecting the arrival of medical support personnel from our partners Gadalland and Aspern to help treat the needy as they arrive in Reitzmag if this war unfortunately further escalates.
