STATEMENT FROM THE CAUCUS CHAIRMAN ON THE DEATH OF COUN. PETTERSEN
The European Liberal Democrats had successfully been established as a new political group in the European Union. We have witnessed the successful exercise of democratic power of our dear Europeans in the recent European Elections. Sadly, none of us have achieved a position into the European Commission.
After the recent events that occurred, a new challenge is faced by our political group. And we are sad to be informed of the death of Coun. Mariann Pettersen, a founder and Internal Affairs Secretary of the ELDR. Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Coun. Pettersen.
We may have not known how much Coun. Pettersen was dedicated to her work, but in a short time she had proven that she is fit for the job.
The caucus will always remember you and love you, Coun. Marrian!
