Although European football -soccer- is Sildavia’s favourite mass sport event, rugby has also many followers.
The Sildavia Rugby Federation has been officially created, beginning its League and an “Eight States Cup Tournament”.
Her Imperial Highness Princess Teresa de Kronstadt, Heiress to the Crown, has accepted the honorary presidency of the federation.
It has been decided that the league will be a short one, played during summer months of the Sildavian calendar, and the Eight States Cup will be awarded to the winner of the final game between #1 and 2 of the league.
