STATEMENT ON THE STATUS OF THE REPUBLIC OF ISTKALEN

The Joint Transitional Authority for Istkalen sends greetings to everyone. Recently, our Transitional Council had decided on the status of the Republic of Istkalen through a session this morning. Upon the conclusion of the session, the Council had decided that the Republic of Istkalen shall be disbanded or be arrested for repeated violations of the Instrument of Surrender. This step is not to restrict democracy in Istkalen and force our ideologies to it, but rather to ensure a safe and genuine transition to a better state. The Republic of Istkalen had been identified to have conducted international engagements that are under the responsibility of the J-TAI, they have also been identified to have spread false information. In addition, individuals and organizations who have also been identified to spread false news both locally and internationally are now being hunted down. We would like to officially inform the general public that no Istkalenian had been tortured or deprived of freedom without reason. The claims of rape, murder, and other heinous crimes being committed by both Vardic and Reitzmic Military Officers and Personnel are not true.

Due to this, we urge that the people of Istkalen instead elect a new shadow government under the purview of J-TAI to serve as representation of the people to the transitional government. The European Councilor of Istkalen will remain in service, however he must note that continuous spread of false information may result in his recall.

Apart from this, we also have been informed of the engagements conducted by other countries with the now-defunct Republic of Istkalen. One of which was said to have been conducted inside Istkalen. We would like to ask you to verify any information you have received. In addition, due to the still running dangerous flights conducted by different airline companies, we had commanded the Coalition Forces to deploy a no-fly zone to prevent any civilian or military aircraft from entering the dangerous airspace without permission from the J-TAI. This shall be done for the safety and security of all people and to prevent the spread of misinformation and propaganda outside Istkalen. The borders of the country shall be tightly secured to prevent illegal border crossings and ensure the safety and security of both Istkalenians and foreigners.
