It was still early in the morning when the sun gave its warmth. President Romain Guichard looked in the mirror one last time before going to his cabinet. A quick glass of water and he closed the door of his private rooms in the presidential palace behind him. Mrs. Agnes Duprez, his head of cabinet, was already waiting for the president when Romain arrived with a quick step.
"Good morning Agnes" said the president. "Is everything ready to receive Jésus?"
"If you mean the son of God, there's still a lot of work to be done, Mr. president," she joked faintly.
"Sorry, Mr. president... Everything is ready to receive the Spanish president. Here's the agenda" she said with red jaws."Okay... Thank you..." said Romain without looking up. Agnes was just about to leave the president's office when Romain called her back to him. "Jésus arrives at Royaume-de-France INTL. Airport and is brought here by car, right?" "That's right, Mr. president. He'll be landing soon. The weather conditions are good today so there will not be much delay." she answered.
"Thank you Agnes" Romain concluded.

After the summit in Mennrimiak with the Nordic Prime Minister Sauli Niniisto, it was Nofoaga next on the "Western European Tour" list. When asked about Nofoaga, Jesús Aguilar always said Nofoaga was a strategical ally for Spain, which was very kind with the Iberian country and would be always there if needed. It is true the relationship was great between them and both governments worked closely to keep it like that: Nofoaga relied on Spain for defence purposes, while Spain wasn't going to give the Nofoagan bases up so easily. And even if the Mennrimian offert was tempting to install new bases in the Artic, he would lose control and influence on the Caribbean, a bad thing for the Spanis geopolitical strategy. He needed to look to the North, but which country to choose? He would need to think about that a little bit more.
The Falcon departed from Mennrimiak towards Royaume-de-France International Airport, in Nofoaga. Jesús decided to work with his team in how to face the very important summit with Nofoaga; while at the same time a small delegation of the Spanish Army would greet him in the Airport, incluiding General Carlos Brown, head of the Army in Nofoaga. Of course, the Spanish Army was going to welcome his President, as he was always very interested on the foreign missions all around the European Union, which included Leagio, Inimicus and the very same Nofoaga. "Jesús, we will be arriving soon at the Airport. We have followed your advices and adapted them to the strategy" "All fine Marcos, this is great. Thank you, as always, for your hard work" Answered the President.
The plane landed in the Nofoagan Airport and the President came off the plane to be welcomed by the Nofoagan delegates who would take him to the Presidential palace and the Spanish Army delegation, who talked with the President for 5 minutes before having to leave towards meeting the 3rd Nofoagan President during his term as the Spanish President, Romain Guichard.

Knock, Knock... "yes" cried Romain Guichard towards the door of his desk. Pierre Dudamel, the president's chief of staff, stuck his head in and said that the Spanish president would enter the driveway of the presidential palace within 2 minutes. "Thank you Pierre" the president replied.
Romain got up and walked out of his office, went down the great staircase and went outside to wait for Jésus. The Nofoaganese and Spanish flags flew in the wind.
Not much later, the escort accompanying Jésus Aguilar entered the domain of the presidential palace. The cars stopped at the entrance and the Spanish president got out. Romain Guichard, who met a foreign leader for the first time since he was president of the Republic of Nofoaga, approached him, shook his hand and said "Welcome Mr. Aguilar. Welcome to nofoaga. I hope you had a good flight."

The motorcade arrived to the Presidential Palace and came to a stop. Aguilar put his book back on his suitcase and waited for the Presidential Guard to open the door, as stated by the protocolary procedures in Nofoaga. When he first arrived to the Presidence of the Government and during his first days living in the Palacio de la Moncloa, he was taught the Spanish protocols and instructed to follow the foreign protocols aswell. Of course, the protocol didn't apply to certain countries like Inquista, where Mikaela Klienberg was the one setting up the several procedures, but he was said where to stand and where to lead the foreign visitor when it came to the photos in front of the door.
The President's car's door was finally opened by a guard who was thanked by the Spanish President and Jesús exited the motorcade. He headed towards the new Nofoagan President, Romain Guichard, smiling. When he was next to Romain, both shook hands and the Nofoagan President was the first to speak, then the Spanish President did so: "Mr. Guchard, nice to meet you! Thank you for your welcoming, how are you doing today? I have had a very good flight indeed, I can feel the summer is near and the weather in this side of the European Union, as in Spain, gets better and better despite the hurricane season being due to start. Also, congratulations for your appointment as the new Nofoagan President."

"Yes, the sun is indeed good." replied Romain Guichard. Meanwhile Pierre Dudamel met both gentlemen and made the sign to pose together briefly for some pictures. Following the protocol obligations, the president led Jésus inside the presidential palace.
The summit between Spain and Nofoaga would take place in a friendly and loose way. The day before, President Guichard had therefore asked Agnes, his chief of cabinet, to prepare his personal office for this meeting instead of the usual wooden room.Once inside, Guichard offered a seat and asked with exaggerated enthusiasm " So... What do you want to drink?"

Jesús Aguilar seated on the designated chair and said: "I'll take some coffee this time, Romain, thank you." The Spanish President then got his notebook and his pen out to write important things during the summit and left them over the table. The President spoke again: "And how are things going over here, Mr. Guichard? I've been following the news recently but I always like to be informed about the current situation in Nofoaga from the President's words." He smiled.

"Well, everything is actually going well" said Romain as he poured the coffee for Jésus. "But we are concerned about the fight against climate change, and as a country we are taking steps forward", he continued. Romain Guichard sat down.
"I must admit that we are extremely grateful to the Government of Montenbourg for co-financing the mangrove forests on our coast. Without their intervention, we would never have had that opportunity" he said with a concerned look. He took his notebook and took a deep breath...
"Well, Jésus. Let's talk about what really matters for Spain and Nofoaga right now. I would have liked to talk to you about a few things about our mutual relations, but before I start, I would like to talk about something that concerns me greatly. It is no secret that my country is a great supporter of the European Union and we are champions of freedom, democracy and Human Rights. I will allow myself to express once again my displeasure at the attitude of the EU and some member states towards governments of certain member states who repeatedly trample on these rights and hold the whole Union hostage because of the unwillingness to reverse the negative spiral."
"I would very much appreciate it if, after being together, we could launch a joint call for positivity and cooperation. Can I count on you for this?" Romain Guichard sounded convincingly.

The Spanish President listened to the Nofoagan President carefully, and instantly knew which countries he was referring to: Reitzmag and their constant trample on human rights at Istkalen. Of course, the Spanish position when it came to human rights was exemplary, but Aguilar needed to be careful with any compromise or comment, because that could risk Donald Tusk's range of action in the European Council. He answered back to Guichard:
"It is true that Spain is concerned about the trample of human rights in some territories around the European Union, with a special mention for the always conflictive east of Europe. You can count with me, but if you mean would like to condemn the Reitzmic occupation of Istkalen, I think we should cope with the Joint Transtional Authority for Istkalen as long as the Vardics are involved. Any other foreign or sole power like Reitzmag won't be trustworthy or fair with them."

"I ask no condemnation Jesus" said Romain while drinking his coffee. "I am only asking for a strong position on human rights."
Romain Guichard put his cup of coffee on the side table, folded his hands together and leaned forward towards the Spanish president.
"Jesus, I'd really like to talk about something else. About the economy of Nofoaga. It is no secret that our economy is not the strongest in Europe. Little natural resources, small territory... We're actually building on what our grandparents and great-grandparents worked on: fish. I'll get straight to the point. I would very much like to obtain a tax exemption for the fishermen flying the Nofoagenese flag in Spanish waters. And... the same rights as Spanish fishermen."
The president of Nofoaga leaned back. After a few seconds of silence he shouted: "Oh, your coffee is up! Another cup?"
