Prague was going through its normal busy day, but inside The Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of The Charles University everything was getting ready for the arrival of foreign delegations. Students were given a break on that day, they however were decorating a the halls of the faculty yesterday at the evening. Taking part in decorating was voluntary, but list of the students who took part, or didn't took a part were marked in a list and it was hinted that students not taking part would not be allowed to go study abroad.
A prestigious chefs were also present at the faculty, ready to cook a traditional Czech foods, but also foreign foods for the acclaimed guests.
The Czech delegation was already present and everything was ready for the arrival of Nicoleizian, Fremetian and Ottoman delegations.
-
And so the delegation from the UNSR arrived at Charles University, they remarked how beautiful the buildings were and how especially clean they were. They were more than happy to be seizing the opportunity to discuss the spread of Socialism across the European Union and how best to go about it, with ideas from all major leftist parties in Europe gathering here. The Nicoleizians had many ideas they were ready to discuss and share with their fellow leftists to spread their ideals on the European and on the national level, such as the support of a Eurogroup or a Europarty that could push for what the members of the Institute of the European Left wanted. The delegation finally arrived among the Czechs and waited for the other countries' delegations to arrive.
-
The Fremetian delegation had arrived in Prague the night before to escape the smell of capitalism as it reeked in Trondheim. They were ecstatic at the opportunity to commune among like-minded peoples and learn from the successes of their comrades to better the lives of Fremetian workers.
Arriving at Charles University, they were filled with pride at what their counterparts had achieved. Jakob thought it fitting that they were meeting at such a beacon of higher learning. After all, the Fremetian delegation was there to learn how to best apply these high ideals to the Kingdom (gag) of Fremet. -
The Ottoman delegation arrived in Prague in the morning. The delegation was lead by Ahmed Nacar, the deputy leader of the Red-Green Bloc followed by Alexander Xinidis and İsmet Yılmaz. The delegation ascended up the numerous stairs that elevated the University as the morning fog shrouded the city.
"This is a big day, gentlemen", spoke Alexander with a hint of excitement. "Our bloc will finally no longer be ignored in the Chamber."
Yılmaz let out a cynical chuckle, "Heh! Oh we are not ignored now, the Tefvik made that clear."
Nacar veered over at Yılmaz and simply said, "Power both attracts friends and foes. And the closer our foes wish to come to us, all the better."
"Great, now you got Ahmed going again. Good job, İsmet "
As the delegation approached the ornate buildings that materialized from the morning fog, the bickering died down. Soon after, they found the delegations from Czech Slavia, Fremet and the UNSR waiting in the meeting room, appearing mildly anxious. The three men greeted the delegation and did some small talk while they awaited the start of the meeting.
-
After exchanging pleasantries with with each guests prof. Hudeček official began the meeting. "Dearest comrades, it is a great honour for me and my colleagues to welcome you in Prague. We hope you will enjoy your stay here and that the debate will enrich all of us. I raise a toast to your work comrades."
After his speech prof. Hudeček gave the word to prof. Rottová, she stood up, thanked prof. Hudeček and said: " Comrades, I believe that in the past few days all our eyes were set on Icholasen and our hearts were with the Nicoleizian workers. Our eyes were lighted up and our hearts were pleased, when we learned of the Nicoleizian revolution. And despite hardships that the imperialist world causes for the UNSR the Communist Party of Icholasen and its leader comrade Jirluchuz are leading the masses from victory to victory! For that reason we would like you to sing the anthem of UNSR to celebrate the revolution and express our solidarity!"
After singing both the anthem of UNSR and The Internationale, prof. Hudeček once again began to speak: "Now it is time to confirm our plan for this meeting and the yearly plan of meetings. This is time for you to propose any amendments." -
Jakob stood up.
"Yes, we would like to motion to add an amendment to the docket. We call for a motion to append the docket at item number 8: 'Other Topics' to include a plenary session to discuss and establish a position and strategy on normalising the relations between Fremet and the UNSR. This issue is of paramount importance to ensure the longevity of the efforts of the proletariat in Icholasen and abroad."
-
Alexander says in a softened voice, "I second the motion"
-
Françoise Jardin said "I wholeheartedly accept the motion."
-
Hudeček looked at his colleagues who both nodded and proclaimed: "Our delegations agrees with what comrade Jakob Müller has proposed. Four votes are for his proposition, zero are against it, no delegation abstained, The motion was accepted, when we get to Other Topics you will be invited to speak first comrade Jakob."
"Now I would like to invite our comrades from UNSR to make us familiar with the election strategy of CPI and if they could share their ideas on the election strategy of CPI." -
Françoise got up to speak. "Our national policy is to push for our candidates in the local elections and the national elections in Icholasen coming up this April via old and new medias. Both online and paper and billboard advertising will be poured in for our Communist candidates. In addition, CPI is prepared to help smaller leftist parties in Europe with money and contacts for advertising agencies that we have grown to trust so far. I also think out strategy should be a European one, we are trying to get recognised in the European Council, but I am unsure as to how it will pan out. If not, we should caucus around someone for Premier and Internal Affairs Commissioner so that we can have the best chance of having a leftist represent us in the European Commission."
-
"Understood, perhaps comrades here would like to hear more about your political system to better understand it and to help them make any advice. Nevertheless it is time for other delegations to propose their advice to the UNSR delegation on how to help CPI achieve victory and convince the imperialist bloc in the EU to finally recognize the UNSR" Hudeček proclaimed.
