Yosainese-Reitzmanic Summit
-
Secretary of State Maiyuko Sakai was waiting down the stairs of the escalators with her colleague Secretary of Commerce and Industrey Haiji Narusegawa along with 10 secret servicemen around them. There were also 30 staffers at the chosen terminal which they have booked out away from the sights of the media, all were tending to the needs of the officials and will also be tending to the needs of the Prime Minister when he arrives. They didn't wan t the Reitzmanic Prime Minister to be bombarded by the press just yet. that will be for the Press Conference after the meeting. Secretary of State Maiyuko Sakai was the first to greet him when he walked down to the terminal.
"Ah, Good Morning Prime Minister welcome to Yosai, I hope your journey was a good one." She said as she approached Simon Bridges as she politely bowed.
Secretary of Commerce Haiji Narusegawa also bowed but also chose to approach the Prime Minister to shake his hand. "Apologies Prime Minister Bridges, the General Secretary couldn't be here. Knowing him he is probably arguing with the Finance Secretary." He said with a gentle smile and a subtle sense of deadpan humor. -
Simon greeted the Secretary of State with a bow and a Supported Handshake to show extra respect before uttering..."Good morning indeed, I had a very pleasant and safe journey. Thank you for allowing me here in Yosai." He then proceeded to greet the Commerce Secretary the same way. "Don't worry, I presume he's doing some preparations before I meet him later." he said after giving off a giggle.
He then proceeded through the terminal and to the vehicle awaiting.
-
The two delegates giggled in jest. Staffers assisted Prime Minister Bridges with his belongings and left the rest to his staffers. and guided him to the cars and security detail that will be taking him there to the Executive Blue Manor. After an short drive they had arrived to the manor.
After arriving Prime Minister Bridges found himself at the front with General Secretary Junichi Watanabe.
He bowed and then approached with a handshake. "Prime Minister, how are you? I apologise I wasn't at the airport to greet you. I was on the phone to my Secretary of Finance going back and forth over budgetary concerns within an upcoming infrastructure project. You know it is I would imagine." He said as he chuckled lightly.
-
Simon is astonished at the beauty of the place, it gave the same feeling as Reitzmag but without the headaches of being a Prime Minister. He looked out the window as the convoy went through the city and to the Executive Blue Manor. As he disembarked out of the car, he saw the architecture quite similar to that of those pre-medieval architecture in Reitzmag. He knew that the only difference between Reitzmag and Yosai is that one is a well-developed anglo-sino-korean kingdom and the other is japanese city confederation. When he saw Junichi, he bowed and shook his hand before posing in front of the press for a shake-hand photo. He then uttered the japanese words "おはようございます" (Ohayōgozaimasu/Good morning) to give some impression of his diplomatic experience.

He shared a laugh with the General Secretary's joke, knowing that he also experiences the same problems but on a much bigger scale. "Thank you for inviting me to visit Yosai, Mr. General Secretary. I look forward to creating a much deeper relationship between our countries with you." he said.
-
General Secretary Watanabe smiled "Fantastic, well alright, please, this way." The General Secretary then guided Prime Minister Simon Bridges to the conference room. And then sat down
"Now Mr Bridges before we begin I just want to outline the agenda's that both of us want to address. My overall agenda's here will be laying the foundation of a free trade agreement, and the next thing is a possible ease of access visa agreement. Those are my goals that I hope to lay the foundation for with this conference. Of course we won't get into the full force of this yet but today is about laying foundations. Before we begin however I would like to know what your agenda would be today and what you think the League of Yosainese Republics can offer."
-
"I've prepared some key things I want to discuss, which is what I usually also discuss with other leaders I visit. My main points aside from what you have already mentioned are cultural exchange, student exchange, technological partnership, and extradition. And, to answer your question, I expect that the League of Yosainese Republics can offer a lot in terms of trade. I know that this country is developing very well and I am impressed, but I think that the partnerships between Reitzmag and Yosai would help both our economies further. Yosai would very much benefit from the help of a very well-developed country with a booming economy. A lot of Reitzmic companies had approached me prior to my visit regarding trade and investment in Yosai, and I told them that I guarantee they will be able to do it more freely soon with the partnerships we will establish." said Simon before smiling.
-
General Secretary Watanabe smiled "Ok then. Well lets start from the beginning with one of your items then. First I believe you said was cultural exchange. Can you elaborate on that please?."
-
"Ah yes, what I meant by cultural exchange is the organization of state-sponsored tours on the other country to help them understand their culture. It would allow us to enhance knowledge and understanding by our citizens to each other's cultures."
-
"Ah right. So sponsored tour groups with several travel agencies. I assume student exchange would be exchange programs and semesters abroad between our students with several universities?"
-
"Indeed you are correct."
-
General Secretary Watanabe smiled "Alright. Well I'll let you take the floor then for the rest of your agenda."
