Tarek for Internal Affairs Commissioner
I am Tarek running again in an election with competition and choice for voters which pleases me alot. I believe in Europe and the power it has but sadly so many of the latest commissions have done nothing and not engaged with member states as they should. This has led to a rise in euro-scepticism and threatens the Unions very survival in the long term. We need to make the EU relevent again , we need to unleash the power of the EU in partnership with nations and we need to engage with and listen to member states . Thats why if elected there will be no flash pizazz but simply a hard working commissioner who will listen to the nations and commit to the following promises:
1.Commit to holding a conference with the nations member states and European Councillors on what nations want , no agenda just listening
2: Commit to a new conference on our biggest challenge of this time , fighting climate change and environmental pollution. I will to this end organise a Green Europe Conference
3:Work to expand Green transport and Eurorail projects in Europe in partnership with any Premier commissioner. We have a great tool to fight climate change lets use it and unleash the power of Europe
4.Work with member states to ask where they want EU to help their nations more and what projects of cooperation they would like to see
5. Try to finally complete reforms and bring the European Union democracy closer to the people and reform institutions that need reform with the Premier Comissioner such as European Court of Justice and explore alternative voting and representitive models in the EU councilI will let the nations guide me and unleash the power of the Union. Statement on Svarna Surya
I call for peace and EU negotiations on the Svarna Surya situation. I believe Svarna Surya has issues of confidence in its electoral system and its human rights record reputation. These are issues that need fixing and it is concerning that on the international stage they are alleged to be using intimidation and assassinations and kidnap of crew and holding hostage of civilian shipping for political ends if true these are not correct ways for a country to conduct itself. However I also recognise conflict and war has its risks and is not a correct way to deal with the situation. We need dialogue with Svarna Surya and Europe and pressure to change the country in a democratic way if needed. I call for negotiations and compromise between all parties in fair and equal negotiations. -
Statement From Tarek
I today announce that just because I'm a Duchian doesn't mean I am the Duchies candidate. I am European and proud and will always support the majority of European nations interests. As such the Duchies shall be the last priority for me in Europe . I will listen of course but if there is a conflict between the Duchian interest and European or EU interests I will always prioritise the interests of the European Citizens and it's Union. I will also make sure on the Svarnan conflict any resolution in talks is balance if I end up being responsible for them.There will be no favouritism to the Duchies for I am not a blind pro-duchies fanatic or loyalist. I will challenge the Duchians and it's councillor when needed.I will not ever be a puppet of the United Duchies. -
Statemement
I welcome the latest moves from Duchies to drop all Sanctions towards Svarna Surya as well as offer some level of reparations as well as the apology. We must all recognise it is a mistake to rush into war without having exhausted months of negotations and diplomatic options and sanctions first. United Duchies must make the billions of Euros available in any package.I also announce my support for a voting system in the council that takes into account the population of the nations of Europe partially. I support the introduction of a new voting system where countries would have to have nations representing a majority of the population of those nations voting in the vote and also the majority of nations voting in the vote for a proposal to pass. This would balance the interests of both smaller and bigger nations in the Council fixing a complaint from larger nations about lack of representation while also continuing to protect smaller nations.
I also will push for a funds to help fund climate decarbonising adaptation funds for carbon dependent economies. These economies cannot be expected to lose their key industries such as oil , steel and metals production or have to adapt them significantly without actually being compensated for it. A fund can help speed up the transition in Green Development for the nations.

European Reform Policy:
1:Reform the European Court of Justice so each member state can appoint a judge to a pool of judges. If cases get accepted a random pool of 4 judges allocated minus the states involved in the case at random and to support the chief justice who would oversee proceedings. Make election only for chief justice.
2. Reform votes on the council to set up a double majority voting system requiring nations representing a majority of population of the nations voting on an a bill and a majority of nations voting on the bill to be in favour for it to pass. Failing this if nations do not approve of this idea seek some other sort of balanced proposal to balance the needs of big and small population nations.
3. Reform elections to ensure the end of single candidate elections . Look at delaying voting until two candidates are in place for that elections or have a system of approval voting where in single candidate elections 66% of those states voting must approve of a candidate for them to win to ensure a real majority and choice in the election. -
Call for Europe to Act against United Duchies
I call for total sanctions , the kicking out of the EU of the United Duchies and Reitzmag and total economic sanctions on the United Duchies and Reitzmag. These nations are dangers to continental peace stability and dangerous war mongers and rogue regimes on the continent. I call for the total economic destruction and collapse of the Duchies and Reitzmag economies by sanction and ban on any trade with the United Duchies and any transport links to and from these rogue terrorist governments. -
Concession
I concede defeat. Europe has chosen the wrong option in this race. It has chosen the Duchian bootlickers who will no doubt be visiting the United Duchies and Reitzmag criminal rogue regimes that need deposing by pressure and sanctions for their war mongering ways. You will now have the great pathetic appeasers of Duchians as your heads not anyone who will actually stand up for peace and to the warmongers. You have the Europe you deserve , hope you enjoy it and your Duchian overlords dominating Europe. -
Condemnation of Mishar Republic
I condemn the Mishar Republic and its cowardly Duchian bootlicking government in withdrawing its condemnation of the Duchies terrorist and rogue regime and its war crimes in Svarna Surya. Europe has kow towed to Duchies tune like a Duchian puppet rather than implement the crushing sanctions on United Duchies and Reitzmags governments it should have to ensure the collapse of those governments and fighting to arrest and charge the war criminals in charge of those governments who are the biggest menace to peace in Europe. Europe should remember this act of terror by these nations forever and no apology or blood payment will fix this , only criminal charges.I praise Inimicus and North Diessan as the only countries taking the bold actions to punish the criminal regimes in Duchies and Reitzmag and protect peace in Europe.I am taking refuge in Inimicus as an asylum seeker as I believe the Reitzmag government and Duchies government will assassinate me or bring trumped up treason charges against me if I go to the United Duchies given the rogue terrorist regimes they are.I will campaign for justice for Svarnans and to ensure the Duchies and Reitzmic governments face real justice. Thank you all who did vote and support me against this rogue and terrorist regimes in the heart of Europe , our fight for justice will continue.The only way for this menace to be dealt with is cripple the economies fully or take out the governments by military force and commit to regime change against these rogue regimes.
