STATEMENT: NEO-VENETIA
By the Prime Minister, Emryc Isla
Oldknow House, April 7th, 2020These are trying times for our nation and our region.
It seems that everywhere we turn, there is more turbulence, often from the places we least expect. Many Angleterics are confused and worried about the future, and you have every right to feel that way.
Every week has seen Europe beset with more coups, more riots, more instability, and more violence, as politicians, elitists, and gun-wielding maniacs make a soap opera out of people’s lives. This chaos has now reached our own borders.
As you will know, on March 24th, the spectre of Communism reached the western fringes of Neolombardia. The Communist Party of Neo-Venetia, in coalition with Social Republican terrorists, seized control of the separatist regime that occupies that area.
Neo-Venetia is part of Angleter, and shall be eternally.
In 2008, my predecessor, Monty Catt, made a valiant, if ill-advised, effort to complete the unity of our nation. The then powers of Europe stood against him and against our nation. They said that Neo-Venetia must be ‘free’, but today the last glimmers of freedom in separatist Neo-Venetia have been extinguished.
What is often forgotten is that Mr Catt acted out of urgency. The separatist regime at that time had collapsed into anarchy at the height of the Animortus pandemic. While history will judge the wisdom of Mr Catt’s actions, his assessment that the status quo in Neo-Venetia could not continue was accurate.
We are in a similar situation today. Angleter cannot and will not tolerate an illegitimate, by any sane observer’s standards, Communist regime in Neo-Venetia.
Many people have written to me saying they feel besieged by the Kaasian regime to our east and the Communist regime to our west. I cannot in good conscience, as a patriot elected to serve my country’s citizens, allow this situation to continue indefinitely.
But I must also stress my government’s commitment to peace. It is precisely because of our commitment to peace that we are responding as we are. As a precautionary measure, I am diverting part of our army to the border with separatist-ruled Neo-Venetia, but at this point I am not authorising any further military action.
I have written to Mr Moscati, the leader of the Communist coup, with a number of common sense requests. These include:
• An end to the coup and the restoration of what remains of the pre-coup separatist regime;
• The complete removal of Social Republican elements from all aspects of the separatist state apparatus and the extradition to Angleter of a number of SR members who stand accused of terrorist acts against our citizens in 2009;
• A free and fair referendum to be held within this year on reunification with Angleter.I await Mr Moscati’s response before deciding any further steps. For the last eleven years, Angleterics have graciously lived side-by-side with the separatist regime in Neo-Venetia because we value peace, stability, and security.
That peace, stability, and security is what Mr Moscati’s terrorist gang has disrupted, and that is what our actions will be geared towards restoring.
I must, at the same time, acknowledge that events in Neo-Venetia are symptoms of a virus that has spread mercilessly across Europe.
Like our Neo-Venetian brothers, the people of Icholasen now live under the bloody flag of Communist tyranny. And it is only thanks to the bravery of Inquistan airmen that the people of Reitzmag have been spared the same fate.
But the true virus is not Communism alone. The true virus is disorder. It is violence, it is chaos, it is madness. Angleter stands against this virus in all its forms.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has already spoken about the actions of the Reitzmag government in relation to Bernie Sanders, and I have nothing to add to his statement, except to say that the sudden death of Mr Coventry must be fully investigated.
What has, however, stunned and saddened me personally the most – and I believe this goes for most Angleterics – is the recent coup in Inquista.
Inquista has a special place in the hearts of the Angleteric people. It has been, for many years, a friendly nation, a centre of Europe’s Christian heritage, and a beacon of stability and prosperity. Angleterics will remember Archbishop Paul Craticus in particular as a true friend of our country and of the region-wide movement for a democratic politics that truly reflects the priorities of the people.
That Archbishop Craticus has been violently overthrown and, by all accounts, murdered by a deranged mob for exercising his constitutional right – the natural right of all European governments – to recall his country’s European Councillor, is appalling and unconscionable.
The junta that has seized power in Inquista shall find no friendship in us. While my government will neither confirm nor deny the presence of members of Archbishop Craticus’ government in Angleter, I can say that we will not comply with any extradition requests that the junta might send us.
My solidarity and, I believe, that of all Angleterics, is with the ordinary people of Inquista at this time of grave uncertainty for their country.
But we, here, at home must recognise the lessons of this sudden outbreak of Europe-wide violence. It has become clear to me that we have underestimated the strength of the elite forces that seek to undermine the sovereignty of our nations.
The mob which, in all likelihood – though I pray it might not be so – tore Archbishop Craticus limb from limb had been whipped up into a frenzy by the wild, unverified allegations of a self-confessed Communist who currently lives under the protection of the Communist regime in Icholasen.
The mob had been gathered together by the astroturfing efforts and the encouraging words of a roll-call of Europe’s globalist elites – first among them, the Kligenberg family. These people will stop at nothing to get their way, and it is my duty to do what is necessary to defend Angleter and keep our nation a sovereign beacon of stability and real democracy in these dark days.
It is also my duty to reiterate Angleter’s commitment to her oldest and truest alliances.
The neighbourly bond between our nation and the Duxburian Union, forged in the blood of our soldiers on the desolate hills of Dromund Kaas, will endure forever.
Gallorum and Pravoslaviya’s stand against hypocrisy, at this time which cries out for justice and honesty, shall never be forgotten.
I hope that Angleterics are heartened by the knowledge that we do not stand alone – not among governments, and not among peoples.
But what is clear, at the same time, is that the direction of travel in Europolis has for many years been the opposite of what Angleter has always sought from its EU membership, no matter what party has been in power here in New Birmingham.
Likewise, the direction of travel in European diplomacy in recent weeks has been the opposite of what Angleter, and all right-thinking people, would like to see.
In 2008, our nation joined the European Union in an act of hope. That hope has soured into cynicism, and now into fear.
I can only conclude by expressing what hope remains in me that the authorities in Europolis, who rely on billions of pounds a year in Angleteric contributions to their budget, will act to turn the tide before we have no choice but to ask our citizens whether they still have hope in our country’s place in the European project.

STATEMENT: EASTERN HAANE
By the Prime Minister, Emryc Isla
Oldknow House, October 4th, 2020Last month, my Government instituted a complete and total shutdown on travel, trade, and migration between Angleter and Eastern Haane until we could learn more about the situation in that country.
I would like to start by confirming that the shutdown remains in place.
We have, however, learned more about the unfolding human tragedy in Eastern Haane. An entire nation at the heart of Europe has been brought to the gates of Hell following the collapse of a Communist regime under the weight of its own contradictions. Over recent weeks we have witnessed, and the Haanean people have endured, unspeakable savagery. War, torture, and the rise of evil death cults.
It is not Angleter's place to step in and write the Haanean people's future for them. Ultimately, we believe that only Eastern Haane can liberate Eastern Haane. But we respect and support the actions of the four friendly nations who have taken it upon themselves to implement a no-fly zone over the country.
The European Council is expected, in coming days, to sanction a multinational intervention in Eastern Haane. Angleter will not participate, for the reasons I have set out above, and because we continue to work to neutralise the threats on our own borders of Kaasian Sithianism and Neo-Venetian separatist Communism.
But we would advise the nations intervening that the lesson of the last few days is that any intervention must be respectful of the wishes of the Haanean people, and that any reconstruction process must be led by the Haanean people. It is their country, their culture, and their government; not a blank canvas for the globalist elites of Europe to project their fantasies.
We are now subject to the obscene spectacle of Reitzmag claiming that its supremely arrogant, failed intervention was, in fact, a success, because a woman is currently being brutally and blasphemously tortured to death on Facebook Live. Not since the murder of my friend Paul Craticus have I seen such depraved gloating about man's inhumanity to man, with the added injury of that inhumanity being used in a pathetic attempt to present an obvious failure, that cost many lives and further destabilised an already horrendous situation, as a glorious victory. It is a sickening coda to an intervention that will go down as a cautionary tale about the perils of interventions.
Contrary to the words of the Reitzmic government, the situation is not over, and it may well be that European intervention is what restores peace to Eastern Haane. But that would be no time for Europe to congratulate itself. Eastern Haane's brutal civil war is a testament to the failure of the European Union.
While Eastern Haane was hurtling towards chaos, the Internal Affairs Commissioner was driving a fake tank through a refugee camp, ziplining into rallies, advertising his app, going around Europe in a car plastered with his face, and telling us all to pay for his 5G project. That was barely a month ago. He even went to Eastern Haane to take credit for bringing peace to that country. Casting your mind back to this time, it would almost be darkly laughable, if the consequences hadn't been so tragic.
Angleter no longer has any confidence in the ability of the European Union to resolve conflicts among or within its member states, or restrain rogue states. And that, in our view, is what the EU was supposed to be for. We are left, now, being asked to pay for what is essentially a virtue-signalling rules factory and the expensive indulgences of its globalist rule-makers.
I can therefore confirm that the official policy of the Angleteric Crown is now to withdraw from the European Union, subject to a referendum to be held in the winter. We will bring forward legislation to that end in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we will not fill our vacant Council seat. We will not vote in Commission or ECoJ elections.
Should the Angleteric people endorse this path, we will remain committed to bilateral and multilateral relations with friendly EU member states. Our treaties with them will remain valid. We do not intend to disengage from the world; only from an organisation that has become an anarchy in what it should be doing, and a tyranny in what it should not be doing. Should other member states and nearby countries share our view, we would even be willing to found within the region a new multinational organisation that will embody the principles of the EU that a hopeful Angleter joined over 12 years ago.
The people of Eastern Haane deserve to live the rest of their lives in a peaceful, secure Europe of sovereign nations. I hope that the belated action we are seeing now will recover them from the bowels of this Hell on Earth, and begin that new chapter in their long history.
But it is our responsibility now, as a government, to not only look after the interests of our own Angleteric people, but also to call time on our endorsement of a decadent, globalist organisation that has proven itself incapable of preventing these horrors from gashing the face of our region. We owe that to the people of all Europe.

STATEMENT: NEO-VENETIA
By the Prime Minister, Emryc Isla
Oldknow House, March 29th, 2021Good morning.
Last night, His Majesty’s Armed Services commenced an operation to remove the Communist regime occupying Neo-Venetia, and restore the province to its rightful status.
The crimes of the Neo-Venetian regime are well-known.
Earlier this month, a number of regime operatives were captured by our Inimican friends, where they will be brought to justice for their involvement in the disgraceful assassination attempt on Emperor Artabanos, who will always be a friend of our country.
We also know that the Neo-Venetian regime assassinated the previous separatist Prime Minister; they have imposed a totalitarian Communist dictatorship on the Neo-Venetian people; and they have brought into their ranks the terrorist Social Republican Army.
In the interests of peace and stability, since 2009, the Angleteric nation has pursued its interests in Neo-Venetia peacefully and diplomatically.
This continued after the coup last March, which brought the spectre of Communism to our doorstep, to our land. Over the last twelve months, we have made a number of requests of the Communist regime, seeking reassurance that their regime is not a threat to the free area of Angleter.
These requests have been ignored. And so, the atrocities of the Neo-Venetian Communist regime cannot be ignored any longer.
Therefore, yesterday, I took the difficult decision to send our troops into active combat once more.
I am delighted to report that the first phase of our operation has been a success.
Last night, in a series of daring amphibious raids, our Armed Services took control of the cities of Caparnaon, Tabaria, Carmel, and Zecanin.
Having secured the Leontes as far as Carmel and Zecanin, we are now in a position to eliminate various pockets of regime resistance in eastern Neo-Venetia.
The Royal Angleteric Air Fleet has also established complete air superiority over Neo-Venetia and its coastline. We have instituted a temporary no-fly zone over Neo-Venetia while operations are still ongoing.
I would very strongly urge nations, airlines, and private flyers to observe this no-fly zone in their own interests. We have encountered significant anti-air activity from regime forces – regrettably, their signature move since the coup has been making aircraft fall out of the sky – and so it is actively dangerous for any aircraft to fly over Neo-Venetia at this time.
This includes RAAF aircraft, and I must confirm that a number of our aircraft have been shot down, and a number of pilots, sailors, and soldiers injured and killed in this early stage of the operation.
Their sacrifice will be remembered forever by the Angleteric nation. They have fought, been hurt, and died for their King, for their country, and for the safety of their compatriots. Further details about how our nation will recognise the heroism of our troops will follow in due course.
I am at present unable to disclose casualty numbers, although I can confirm that they are significantly higher on the regime side.
I can also confirm that military and civilian refugees from this conflict will be treated humanely.
Our operation has been well-planned for 12 months, and therefore we are well prepared to absorb anyone who has been displaced by this operation. We have applied best practice from Dromund Kaas, and are in the process of setting up habitable refugee camps and POW camps.
All permanent residents of Neo-Venetia are entitled to permanent residency and citizenship of the Apostolic Kingdom of Angleter, with the exception of regime operatives whose treason against this nation has forfeited them that right.
Therefore, the nations of Europe should rest assured that Angleter will absorb almost all people displaced as a result of this operation.I’d like to thank the many nations, such as Inimicus and Reitzmag, that have acknowledged our rights in Neo-Venetia. I’d also like to stress that our operation’s parameters will reflect our respect for the strategic interests of the Duxburian Union.
I’ve been briefed that this operation will be mercifully short. As such, I will provide an update on our future plans for Neo-Venetia at the appropriate time. For now, however, I would once again like to thank our extraordinary troops for their patriotic sacrifice, and ask you all to rejoice at the news of our success on the battlefield, and at the coming completion of our nation.
