Mikaela & Simon Hit the City
-
Saint Dominico
September 8th, 2020The Prime Minister of Reitzmag touched down at Ludovico II International Airport. The Prime Minister's descent down to the airport would have allowed him to catch a very good glimpse of Saint Dominico. The airport was located on the city's southern coast, on an island of its own, separated by a canal. As the plane descended, a view of the country's many canal systems, as well as Saint Dominico's Square, would have been visible. Saint Dominico's Square will ultimately serve as the Prime Minister's destination, as that was where the Archbishop's Palace was located, and that was where he would be received by Archbishop Mikaela Kligenberg herself.
As the Reitzmic Prime Minister stepped out of his jet, he was immediately greeted by Inquista's weather: it was 34 degrees Celsius and the humidity was high. Early September temperatures in Saint Dominico often went into in the 30's, but even by Inquistan standards, such temperatures were uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the sun was bright, the sky was clear, the air was still, and the day seemed to be truly blessed.
A red carpet was laid out at the bottom of the stairs of the Prime Minister's jet. The red carpet extended approximately a dozen metres from the jet's stairs towards a black limousine which was waiting for the Prime Minister. Saint Dominico City Guards stood at attention and flanked both sides of the red carpet.
When the Prime Minister stood on the red carpet, the City Guard raised their sabers and saluted him. In unison, they chanted "For Holy Justice" three times, before then chanting, "Sanctus Iustitiae, puram", "God and My Right", and finally, "Dieu et mon droit!"
The Prime Minister entered his limousine and then was swiftly on his way. The armoured limousine was quickly pulled into a convoy of several black SUVS that preceded and followed the car. Small Reitzmic flags flew from the bonnet of the cars. The armoured convoy crossed over what seemed to be separate islands, over the canals which separated them, and through the city. Saint Dominico Square was not far away, but as always, Inquistan traffic was slow-moving.
Space is scare in Saint Dominico, and thus Inquistans make most with what space they have. As the Prime Minister of Reitzmag was driven through Inquista's narrow streets, he could catch glimpses of the city's many ornate and elaborate decorations. Many statues and works of public art lined the streets. Each bridge that crossed over a canal was also lined with decorations. To mark the occasion of the state visit, Reitzmic flags were hung alongside the route, on lamp posts, on the side of some of the canals, and even from the balconies of some homes and apartments that lined the side of the road.
Following the failed Fourth Crusade, which nearly saw Saint Dominico sacked by fellow crusaders, a custom emerged where Inquistans wore masks whenever a prominent foreign dignitary visited the city. The original meaning behind the masks was to signify that visitors (and their intentions) cannot always be trusted on face value. The custom now lives on today, but it has since become far more celebratory, and instead celebrates the arrival of a foreign dignitary. The masks are usually intricately decorated, and are painted to match colours symbolizing the visiting dignitary. In this case, most of the masks and costumes were blue, but some were also blue and red, capturing the spirit of the Union Jack. Naturally, some also sported white and gold masks for Inquista. Members of the public lined the side of the road sporting the appropriate masks, costumes and attire.
The Prime Minister eventually reached Saint Dominico's Square. When the Prime Minister stepped out of his vehicle, he was met by another red carpet, which extended from one side of the square to the other, where the Archbishop's Palace was located. City Guards again flanked the side of the red carpet, and saluted the Reitzmic Prime Minister. Members of the public were held behind red rope behind the City Guard. Many members of the public were again sporting masks and elaborate costumes, while others were waved small Reitzmic and Inquistan flags.
As is also custom, the Bank of Inquista issues commemorative coins for each state visit to Inquista. Small children, who were dressed up in masks and costumes, lined the side of red rope, and threw these commemorative coins, alongside candies and chocolate money, into the onlooking crowds. Members of the crowd cheered and waved their Reitzmic and Inquistan flags as they attempted to catch the coins and candies.
The Archbishop oversaw this entire spectacle atop of the entrance of the Archbishop's Palace. She coolly watched as the City Guards saluted the Reitzmic Prime Minister, and she carefully watched him as he walked down the red carpet towards her. An orchestra was perched at the far left-hand side of the square, which began to play the Carmen de Bello, the anthem of the Inquistan Military.
Eventually, the Reitzmic Prime Minister reached the stairs of the Archbishop's Palace and ascended them to reach Archbishop Kligenberg. The Archbishop greeted the Prime Minister by kissing him on both of his cheeks, which is the norm in the country. The Archbishop then turned to face the members of the press, who lined the sides of the red rope along the public gallery. Naturally, the press were taking pictures of the visit. The Archbishop extended her hand out to the Prime Minister and then shook it very vigorously, in a public and symbolic display of trust between them. Afterwards, she then put her hands to her side, as the Inquistan national anthem began to play.
Inquista Triumphantis, Inquista's national anthem, played as an Inquistan flag was raised at the centre of the steps to the palace. Shortly after, the City Guard again chanted "For Holy Justice" three times, before then chanting, "Sanctus Iustitiae, puram".
The orchestra then began to play the Reiztmic national anthem, Land of Hope and Glory, as Reitzmic flags were raised on the left and hand side of the Inqusitan one. Once the flags were raised and the anthem was finished playing, the City Guards chanted "God and My Right", and "Dieu et mon droit!" in perfect and succinct unison.
Once the flags were raised, and the anthems were played, the Archbishop took yet another opportunity to shake the Prime Minister's hand in front of the press. The Archbishop then gestured for the Prime Minister to follow her as she entered her palace.
As they got inside the palace, and the doors shut, the Archbishop immediately kicked off her high heel shoes. She then slipped on two pink fuzzy slippers that were waiting by the door, and grabbed a pink housecoat that was hanging from a coat rack. The Archbishop wrapped herself in her the housecoat and then explained herself to the Prime Minister.
"It's been such a long day, and the last thing we need to do after all this pomp and circumstance, is be uncomfortable. I think it's time that we relax, don't you agree? Here, follow me."
The Archbishop led the Prime Minister through the palace to her newly created spa room. The Archbishop squealed as she entered the spa. "Isn't this just divine? Now this is what we need right now."
Mikaela gestured towards two seats in the centre of the spa. Archbishop Kligenberg and Prime Minister Bridges each took a seat, and then two spa attendants entered the room. The spa attendants immediately repositioned the seats so that the heads of government were sitting more comfortably, and then the spa attendants began to massage their shoulders. Mikaela glanced over at the Prime Minister and carefully studied his face.”
"Aww, look at those bags under your eyes. O-M-G. Forget any trade deal. What you need is a deal for those dark circles. I have just the products you need. I'll be sure to give you them before you leave later today."
After a brief message, the attendants then left the spa to fetch some strawberry daiquiris, and then returned to deliver the drinks to the esteemed leaders. The attendants then went on to apply hot (but bearable) towels to the faces of the Archbishop and Prime Minister, as to open their pores and relax their faces. The attendants also gently messaged their scalps. After a short while, they removed the towels and applied face masks. Once the masks were applied, the attendants began working on giving the leaders pedicures.
Archbishop Kligenberg let out a relaxed sigh as she enjoyed her drink and pedicure. She then looked over to Prime Minister Bridges beside her. "Okay, now we can get down to business... spill all the tea on your love life. Are you married? Dating? Single? What are you into, boys or girls? You can tell me anything, this is a safe space. Who's cheating on who in parliament? What's the latest Reitzmic gossip? Spill the tea Simey, I'm dying to know!"
-
As Simon entered the Archbishop's palace, he greeted Mikaela. Then he got surprised that he was taken into a spa room, which was his favorite thing to do, but was weird for him to experience during summits.
"Haha, Mikaela, well...haven't you still known that I've already been married for 4 years already. Anyways, there aren't much gossips in Parliament, but they say that one of the lords had a child from another woman. Another gossip, don't tell HM The King, says that Anastasia is having a secret relationship with him. We just saw a photo and I got a copy of it from my friend showing Queen Anastasia leaning towards HM The King! I was shocked since I think I was in that scene, I think it was when the Treaty of Buckingham was signed. But anyways, this drink is nice too, and I did not expect that Inquistan spa is very relaxing."
-
"My goodness, Simey! You never told me you were married. Why didn't you bring your wife along? I would have loved to meet her. Oh well, I suppose this is your opportunity to have some nice quiet time away from your family," Mikaela babbled, before then launching into a 30 minute uninterrupted explanation of the latest gossip within the College of Bishops, providing Prime Minister Bridges with absolutely no quiet time.
...
"So anyway, that's how Erica totally stole Jasmine's outfit, even though Jasmine already told her she'd be showing up in the green Gucci dress," Mikaela eventually concluded half an hour later. "I know it's not like that infidelity rumour going on in the Reitzmic parliament, but it's still such a terrible crime. There's nothing worse than a fashion crime, right? Oh, and those rumours about Queen Anastasia and King George are completely baseless..."
Mikaela chugged back the remainder of her third strawberry daiquiri. Once she finished her third drink, it suddenly occurred to Mikaela that she was the person who had taken the pictures of King George and Queen Anastasia, and it was her who had accidentally sent those salacious pictures to her entire contact list. Mikaela sank into her seat and began to nervously play with her fingers. Mikaela then quickly sat up, eager to change the subject.
"So, yes! Business. That's why we're here. We want free trade between our countries, yes? What are Reitzmag's chief exports again? Cars, right? Oooh! I love cars. I have to show you some of mine! Come, come, I have to show you!"
Mikaela hopped up from her seat, peeled the pieces of citrus from her eyes, and then used a warm, damp cloth to clear the mask off her face. Mikaela then gestured for Prime Minister Bridges to do the same. Once the Prime Minister was done, Mikaela pleaded him to follow her. "I haaaaaaave to show you!"
The Archbishop led the Prime Minister to the back of the palace, and then down a staircase which led to an underground garage. The Archbishop switched on the lights as she entered the underground garage, which then suddenly lit-up and revealed what seemed to be near-endless garage of exotic cars. Dozens and dozens of sports cars and luxury cars lined the garage, and virtually all of them were painted varying shades of pink.
"Tesla is a Reitzmic company, no? My pink Teslas are over there," Mikaela stated as she pointed to her left. "Although I have to show you my absolute favourite car," Mikaela announced, as she began walking down the garage with Prime Minister Bridges by her side.
After passing several cars, Mikaela then came to abrupt halt. "This is a Kligenberg Motors Series XM9," Mikaela sighed with pride as she gesticulated toward her favourite car.
"Here, I have to take you for a ride. I have to! It's such a lovely car. Ooooh, I can show you around Saint Dominico too. O-M-G! I just remembered something. There's this lovely boutique which is having a crazy good sale on right now!"
Mikaela opened the door to her favourite pink convertible and jumped in. She started the car and then gave the Reitzmic Prime Minister an encouraging look. She then hit the car horn. "Get in loser, we're going shopping!"
The Archbishop was a light weight and had already consumed three alcoholic beverages, but there's nothing that would ever stop Mikaela Kligenberg from exploiting a good sale. No matter how much the Reitzmic Prime Minister would protested, there was simply no stopping her. Long story short, the Reitzmic Prime Minister found himself in Mikaela's passenger seat and the two were suddenly on the road.
As Mikaela swerved ever so slightly from side to side, she made sure that her Reitzmic colleague was buckled up. The sun was beaming and the weather was hot. Mikaela opened up a compartment close to the stick shift, which revealed two sunglasses. Mikaela passed a black pair of raybans to Prime Minister Bridges, and then grabbed the pink pair of aviators for herself, and then put them on. Mikaela then grabbed a pink cowboy hat which was located under her chair, and tipped it onto her head.
"Oh we look so stunning right now," Mikaela commented as she eyed herself and Prime Minister Bridges in her rear view mirror.
Mikaela then turned her audio player on and Best Friend's Ass started playing out loud. Mikaela bopped her head from side to side as she enjoyed the music. "I have a feeling we will become the best of friends, Simey."
The Archbishop then accidentally over steered the car and crossed momentarily into the oncoming lane of traffic, before then quickly moving back into her original lane. Suddenly, sirens went off just behind the pink convertible. Mikaela looked over her shoulder behind her and spotted her worst nightmare: a cop car was right behind them. The cop car's sirens were going off, and it was was signalling for Mikaela to pull over.
"O-M-G, no way. Just my luck," Mikaela scoffed out loud. As she'd been drinking, Mikaela knew she'd get in an infinite amount of trouble if she pulled over. "Copala will be so mad at me! Eeek! I don't know what to do!" Mikaela panicked.
Mikalea pushed her foot as hard as she possibly could on her accelerating petal. The pink convertible suddenly launched forward at a tremendous speed. In a moment of brilliant timing, just as Best Friend's Ass finished playing over the speakers, the theme song to Furious 7 started playing out loud.
Prime Minister Bridges and Mikaela were flying forward on the road at over 185 kmph. The police car was barely able to keep up behind them. Mikaela then swerved sharply upon the next intersection, and changed directions very abruptly. The police car went swerving behind them, almost swerving off the road. Unfortunately, the cop car managed to spin around real quick, and continued to follow their tail, although now at a much further distance. Mikaela and Prime Minister Bridges were now engaged in a high speed chase.
Mikaela then took another sharp turn at yet another intersection, and turned onto a busy road with lots of traffic. Mikaela swerved between cars, speeding well beyond the limit, and pushing her car to move as fast as possible. As the high speed chase unfolded, Mikaela lowered her pink aviators and gave Prime Minister Bridges a serious look.
"So, where were we? Ah right, free trade. So, what do have to say about free trade? Should we go ahead and eliminate all trade barriers?"
-
Simon had a fun time with Mikaela and shared some stories with her. Simon was surprised by Mikaela's collection of cars.
"Mikaela, I have to admitt, I should've shown you my personal collection too. But it was too late and we have lots of business to do when we last met in RASE."
Simon went on the passenger seat then a few moments later, cops appeared and Simon felt that something was wrong. He saw the speedometer and noticed that the car was speeding at more than 180kph. Simon held tightly as a chase was happening, this was not his first time since his wife also did this to her.
"I can't believe this Mikaela, but that was FUN!"
"I have never experienced a police chase for years yet. I experienced it last when my wife drove our car and then we went to the water. The police didn't catch us but YOLO that was EPIC!"
"Anyways, Mikaela, I'm not here for only free trade. Since, I've been sensing Inquista's friendliness to Reitzmag, I think it's time we make a formal agreement. Perhaps, we can talk about that in the palace?"
-
"Of course we're going to discuss more than free trade! I was just offering that up as an area of discussion, sillyhead" Mikaela paused, as she continued to swerve between cars driving at approximately 190 kmph.
Mikaela then let out a laugh. "Yes Simey, this is a lot of fun, actually. Definitely a YOLO moment," she giggled as she then then took a sharp right-hand turn and then proceeded to drive through a red light. Mikaela then let out another giggle.
"Simey, I have to say, you're so silly! You make me laugh. I really appreciate that about you. We're not going back to the palace, silly, I'm taking you to that boutique I told you about."
Mikaela then made another sharp turn, narrowly missing a car that was also turning into the same lane, and then slammed on the breaks. The car skidded forward, as the breaks desperately tried to reduce the speed of the flying vehicle. Mikaela made a sharp turn towards the pedestrian sidewalk as her pink convertible skidded forward. The convertible ended up crashing up the sidewalk, almost hitting a pedestrian who let out a shriek, and then nearly crashed into the shopping boutique.
Mikaela then reversed the car as the woman on the sidewalk broke out in hysterics. After reversing, Mikaela then neatly parallel parked her car next to the sidewalk and then jumped out the car.
"C'mon, Simey!" Mikaela instructed. Mikaela then took a picture of her license plate and of her pink convertible and sent the pictures to Copala.
"I"ll have Copala pull a few strings, which should hopefully put us out of trouble. It should also stop the car from being towed. Can you imagine getting towed after all that? I'm so glad Copala is in charge of the police, but boy... she scares me. Don't tell her I said that!" Mikaela laughed.
The hysterical woman then came up to Mikaela and Simon, and started scolding them for nearly crashing into her and taking her life. Mikaela shook her head.
"There are literally kids starving to death in communist Icholasen. Good God get a grip, girl," Mikaela stated as she gestured for the woman to leave. Mikaela then turned and gestured toward the boutique. "C'mon Simey, we got some good deals waiting for us. I swear, not all Inquistans are as crazy and unreasonable as this woman."
The pair then entered the boutique. "Simey, I'm gonna get you some really good fits. You have to trust me," Mikaela stated as she went over to the men's section of the boutique. Mikaela grabbed a measuring tape and then starting measuring the Prime Minister's dimensions. Mikaela then wondered intently around the store, grabbing some some dress shirts, some dress pants, a couple suit jackets, as well as some ties. Mikaela then walked toward change rooms. "C'mon Simey!" Mikaela called out,
Mikaela gave the Prime Minister all the clothes she selected, and instructed him to get changed while she sat on the couch. The Prime Minister was to change into each of the outfits, then come out and show his outfit to Mikaela so that she could give each of his looks either a toot or a boot.
The Prime Minister did as he was told, and then came out in his first outfit, which was a navy ensemble with a white dress shirt. "Oh, this is a toot, Simey. We're deffo getting these!"
The Reitzmic Prime Minister then slipped into his second outfit, which was black and white piece. "Boot. Too plain," Mikaela quipped.
Prime Minister Bridges then changed into a tan suit. "Oh boot! Can you imagine the scandal this would cause, Simey? Th fallout would be terrible," Mikaela sighed with disappointment.
Finally, the Prime Minister changed into a light lilac dress shirt with a black pair of dress pants and a multi-coloured pink-stripped tie. Mikaela was stunned. "This look is a total shoot!" Mikaela exclaimed in excitement. "Simey, all the female leaders in the EU will happily sell you military weapons in that outfit!"
"Ok, I will deffo buy you that outfit and that navy suit. They suit you really well! O-M-G! Suit you! Like a suit. Do you get it? I'm so funny!" Mikaela giggled.
The Archbishop then walked around the store and got back to chatting about the Inquistan-Reitzmic deal as she eyed and collected different pairs of shoes.
"I'm doing all the negotiating here, Simey! Why aren't you proposing anything? So, besides a free trade agreement - which you still haven't told me if you want or not - what else are you looking for in this deal?"
-
Simon was enjoying trying all the outfits, at last, he had met a counterpart who enjoys doing these things.
"You know honestly Mikaela, I never had time to do these things. So, thank you for letting me do such despite my job. Anyways, I think Harriett should also join us. In the agenda that I prepared, there's free trade, free movement, alliance, defense procurement, and etc." said Simon while also looking at the nice shoes.
Then Simon came to a shoe, it was very beautiful and elegant. He thought maybe he could consult Mikaela about the shoe.
"Oh, do you think this is good? I'll buy it if you say it is. You know, I remember my wife with what we're doing. And speaking of her, perhaps you have seen her beside me during RASE?" said Simon then showing a picture of them on his phone.
-
"Aww, your wife looks so lovely!" Mikaela squealed enthusiastically. "You are very lucky to have each other. Now that you mention it, I think I do remember her from RASE! Her Karen haircut is so fierce, I love it!"
Mikaela kicked off her shoes and then put on a pair of red pumps. "Free trade, free movement, an alliance, and defense procurement? Well, I'm more than happy to make deals on most of these topics! As I said earlier, I'm happy to eliminate all tariffs and trade barriers between our countries. In terms of free movement, I'm also happy to establish via-free travel between our states."
The Archbishop paused to gaze at her red shoes in the mirror before continuing. "In terms of defense procurement, I'll also grant Reitzmag a license to buy military weapons and vehicles from Inquista's military producers. The Inquistan Orthodox Church - my government - doesn't produce any weapons or military vehicles, but we buy them from Inquista's defence producers, which are completely private companies. My Church, however, gets to decide which countries can and cannot buy from these producers. Once I grant your government a license to procure from Inquistan companies, you'll have to make your orders directly with these companies. It'll be a fun shopping spree!"
Mikaela then lowered her face and pouted. "Unfortunately Simey, I don't think a military alliance is possible. I'm so sorry! Inquista isn't interested in any new military alliances at the moment. Reitzmag is also in the ADO, and should any of those countries be attacked, Reitzmag will have to defend them, and Inquista is not at all interested being pulled into that situation."
Suddenly, Mikaela's phone started buzzing. Mikaela quickly took her phone out of her purse and answered it. "Hello? Oh, hi, Copala!"
Mikaela then lowered the phone and shot a panicked look at Prime Minister Bridges. "Oh no, Simey, it's Copala! She's going to be so mad at us!" Mikaela then brought the phone back to her ear.
"Umm, yes. Yes. Uh-huh," Mikaela answered while speaking to Copala. "No, it wasn't my fault, I was practically being hunted down like a Haanean refugee! I was driving with Prime Minister Bridgs. Yes. Uh-huh. I'm with him right now! Funnily enough, he just mentioned you. He wanted us to meet up. Er.... no. No, why? I was driving, not him! No, he wasn't speeding. No. Doesn't he have diplomatic immunity? Oh? I don't think it would be a good idea to lock him up. No, he wasn't driving. Yeah. Ok. Ok. That sounds good. Are you free to meet up? Oh... you're headed to a movie premiere? Which one? A new movie about you? I love a good movie premiere. Is there a red carpet? Awesome! The Prime Minister and I will come, is that alright? Ok, we'll be coming right now!"
Mikaela hung up on her phone and then turned to the Prime Minister. "Ok, Simey, we have a movie premiere to attend tonight! It starts very soon. You'll need a black suit, so let me quickly grab you one, and I'll also need a black skirt. We'll look so good on the red carpet together!"
The Archbishop shot up from her seat and then frantically zipped around the store, grabbing stylish pieces of formal attire. Mikaela collected all of the clothing her and the Prime Minister had picked out, and then headed to the till. Mikaela took out her credit card and bought the entire ensemble of clothing, include the Prime Minsiter's clothes. The pair then returned to the pink convertible, and rushed to the movie premiere at the Saint Dominico Film Festival.
...
After watching the movie, Copalayse Now, the Archbishop and Prime Minister talked to the press on the red carpet as they waited for Copala to exit the building and join up with them. As Copala was the star of the hour, she undoubtedly had many people to talk to first.
"Wow, what a great film!" Mikaela boasted aloud on the red carpet. "Netflix really did a great job with that one. I have to say, Viola Davis did a really good job capturing the essence of Copala. 10 out of 10 stars. That's the film of the summer, that's for sure."
A reporter waved at Mikaela and Simon, and then extended a microphone towards them, inviting them for an interview. Mikaela gestured for Simon to join her in the interview. The two walked up to the reporter and started answering his questions.
"Your Holiness, who is this this lovely man you have here?" the reporter asked inquisitively.
"Oh this is Prime Minister Simon Bridges! He's the Prime Minister of Reitzmag. He's currently here on a state visit to Inquista. We're actually in the middle of a summit. Like, we're actually having it right now," Mikaela answered with a smile.
"Wait. Right now?" the reporter questioned in a confused tone.
"Yes, right now. We're busy discussing things like free movement, free trade, defence procurement, and so on," Mikaela giggled.
The reporter then turned to Prime Minister Bridges. "How is the deal shaping up, Prime Minister? Is it looking good? What are you looking for? What's something else you wish to discuss with the Prime Minister which you haven't bought up yet? Oh, and can you also tell us what you think about the film? What did you think of Rebel Wilson's portrayal of Boris Johnson?”
-
"I understand Mikaela, but I can smell peace soon. Anyway, let's go?"
Simon went to the movie premier with Mikaela. After the movie finished, a reporter began to interrupt Mikaela and Simon. As the reporter began giving questions to Simon, he answered every single one of them.
"Ok, well we have discussed a lot about the deal but we are still getting to the document signing. There's a big agreement between us both and yeah I'm here for lots of things and make friends with our Inquistan counterparts."
"About the film, of course I enjoyed it. And about the Johnson scene, I wanted to forget about him but I like her portrayal of Mr. Johnson. So, I hope this movie would be part of the Newark International Film Festival."
Simon and Mikaela waited for Copala to arrive. As they wait, he felt curious about Mikaela's love life.
"I've been talking about my wife to you Mikaela, but how's your relationship with Prince Tommy?"
-
"Oh, Tommy and I are doing better than ever. I never thought we would become friends, never mind how close we are now! I can still remember the first time that he yelled at me in the Big Brother house. We've come such a long way!"
Mikaela paused, looked at the Prime Minister, and softly giggled. "O-M-G. i just realised what you meant. We're like... we're not at all in the same situation as you and your lovely wife. Tommy is, you know..." Mikaela then gestured having a limp wrist.
Mikaela then flashed her engagement ring. "I'm engaged to the the lovely Juan-Bernardo," the Archbishop squealed with excitement. "Our wedding will be soon, hopefully. You will be invited, of course!"
After a few more minutes of answering questions from different reporters, Air Marshal Copala, Viola Davis, Rebel Wilson and Ludacris emerged from the building. They gave press interviews and then joined the Archbishop and the Prime Minister. The women introduced themselves to the Prime Minister by giving him some kisses on his cheeks, and Ludacris introduced himself by giving a stern handshake.
"Prime Minister Bridges, it is great to finally meet you in person. I hope that you enjoyed the film, which accurately depicted Inquista's heroic intervention in your country, which single-handedly prevented your country from falling into the grips of communism," Air Marshal Copala greeted. "We're headed to the premiere after-party at the Lewinscus. You'll be joining us, I hope?"
Mikaela excitedly shrieked. "Yes! C'mon, let's go! We've been waiting soooo long. I'm so excited!"
The Archbishop interlocked her arms with the arms of Prime Minister Bridges and Ludacris, and the group wandered down the red carpet to a black limousine that was waiting for them. They all filed into the limousine and they made their way to the club. As they sat in the limo, they popped open champagne bottles and began downing glasses of bubbly.
Rebel Wilson rolled down a window and popped her entire upper body out the limousine. Rebel flung her arms and her glass of champagne wildly and yelled at the pedestrians on the sidewalk. "Who's a star now, Tom Cruise? Eat it!"
Viola Davis then popped out of the limousine's sunroof and took a swig of champagne right out of the bottle. Meanwhile, The Motto blasted out loud in the limousine's speaker system. Mikaela swayed from side to side in her seat while drinking champagne, and she made sure that Prime Minister Bridges was drinking too.
The limousine soon pulled up at the Lewinscus, and the group then filed into the club.
The group went straight to the dance floor and began dancing to Florida's song Low. Air Marshal Copala had the quite the moves, and was definitely putting the rest of the girls to shame. Mikaela's booty certainly had nothing on Air Marshal Copala, Rebel Wilson or Viola Davis.
The Archbishop and Air Marshal Copala then began dancing with Prime Minister Bridges. "So, what is it that you wanted to bring up to the Air Marshal, Simey? Mikaela inquired.
-
"I hope you'll have a nice and happy wedding Mikaela" said Simon.
Then Copala, Davis, Wilson, and Ludacris arrive at the area.
"I really enjoyed the film, though I know that some parts don't match the real event. I appreciate how much Inquistan and Reitzmic Armed Forces fought side by side against communism." replied Simon to Ludacris.
"Yes, I'd be happy to go." said Simon to Copala.
Then Simon began to drink light liquor inside the limo. He's a bit annoyed by the party hype displayed by Davis and Wilson. But he pretty much enjoyed the music. As they arrive, Simon disembarked from the limo and went in the club. Simon danced with Mikaela and Copala.
"Well, I asked Copala to join so that we can discuss establishing an exclusive hotline so that we can contact each other's governments in our need without traffic."
-
"Of course," Copala agreed. "I'll give your government clearance to call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me through Inquista's HEATHERS network. The HEATHERS network is Inquista's hotline we host with our allied states."
Mikaela disappeared for a second and then re-emerged with piña coladas in her hands. She gave one of the piña coladas to Simon and then sipped on the other. Mikaela then pulled out her phone with her other hand. "Is there anything else you wan to to discuss, Simey, or are you ready to sign an agreement on everything we discussed today?"
-
"Nice, thank you so much for being a true friend of our nation. I think I'll stay for a while then we can sign an agreement later."
Simon's phone then rang, his assistant was calling him.
"Hello Michael, what's the matter?" greets Simon
"Nothing much sir, we just want to remind you that you are scheduled for PMQs tomorrow. I'll be waiting for you at the airport before midnight." said Michael
"Oh, ok. Thanks for the reminder Michael. I'll see you later." replied Simon
"No problem sir!" replied Michael
Simon ended the call and showed a sad face as he turns to Copala and Mikaela.
"My assistant called and PMQs is tomorrow. If only I could stay I would be very happy to. I think it would be nice if we would sign the agreement ASAP so I can get some rest before I go back."
-
"Ok, Simey, I understand! Let me just type up an agreement real quick on my notes app."
Mikaela began to then frantically type up an agreement on her phone using her notes app. She googled the images of the Inquistan and Reitzmic coat of arms, which she pasted onto the document she was typing, as to make it look official. Mikaela then headed to the bar and struck up a conversation with the bartender.
"Hi! Do you have a printer around by any chance?" the Archbishop inquired.
"Archbishop! I, mean, Your Holiness! Great to see you here at the Lewinscus!" the bartender greeted with both excitement and surprise.
"Of course! You know I love to support local Inquistan business, especially the local night life. I respect everything you bartenders do for our great nation. Where would I be without you guys? You're out here serving all of us, and I just hope I'm serving you to the best of my abilities. Anyway, so, do you have printer around here?"
"A printer? We have one in the back. Err... do you need to print something?"
"Yes, I do! Just some little international agreement. I have it on my phone, so I was just hoping to print it off. Is the printer wireless?"
"Yeah, it is. You just need to connect to our WiFi. It's public, so you should be able to get in."
"Ok great, I don't think there's anything wrong with me using my private mobile device for official duties, neverminded the fact that I'm doing it over public wifi which anyone here can connect to," the Archbishop narrated out loud.
"Actually, well, now that you mention it, it's probably not a good id-" the bartenders began before being interrupted by the Archbishop.
"Ok, so I hit print! Thank you so much!" Mikaela beamed.
The bartender hurried to the back of the bar and then came back with the Archbishop's document. "I accidentally got a little bit of ketchup on the paper. I hope that's ok," the bartender apologized.
"Oh, that's totally fine," Mikaela smiled as she took the document from the bartender. Mikaela then grabbed a 100 Inquisto bill from her purse and handed it to the bartender. "Thank you so much! Hope you have a good night."
The bartender smiled and seemed stunned. "No, thank you! You have a good night!" he thanked her.
Mikaela turned, and as she moved, she accidentally bumped into Ludacris, who spilled beer all over the floor. "Oh, I'm so sorry Luda!" Mikaela apologized.
"Nah, it's all good!" Ludacris responded with a laugh.
Mikaela dug into her purse and pulled out another 100 Inquistos, which she gave to Ludacris. "Your drink will be on me."
The Archbishop then hurried back to Simon. Mikaela took out a black pen from her purse and signed the document, and then realising that some beer had accidentally spilled onto it as well. Mikaela then presented it to Prime Minister Bridges. "Here's the agreement, Simey. Please ignore the ketchup stain or the beer spill," Mikaela commented with embarrassment as she handed him the document and the black pen.

Simon signed the document with his favorite fountain pen. It was a tradition that agreements were signed using these kinds of pens.
"It's ok Mikaela, I have no problem with the ketchup and beer. We can just clean this up and scan it so we can print a cleaner version." said Simon.
Simon then hurriedly went to the car and grabbed the gift of 2 bottles of English Gin to Mikaela and 1 bottle of English Gin to Copala.
"I'll be going now, I'll get some short rest before I continue with my flight and maybe get some additional sleep on air. So, I'll see you then again in the future."
Simon then waved goodbye at Mikaela and Copala and kissed them on their cheeks. He then went straight for the car waiting outside and headed towards the hotel. About 2 hours later, Simon checked out the hotel and went to the airport for his flight back to Reitzmag.
