0800 GMT +2:15The first snowfall of the year befell Nyetthem, it was not unusual to see at least one or two days of snow during September due to Vayinaods proximity to the Arctic. Most cultures and people would consider the climate nearly uninhabitable, but yet it was the place that the Vards considered home.
Archkonsul Nylund was not totally convinced as to the upcoming meeting with Reitzmag, the nation was in the middle of a string of diplomatic tours to help repair a damaged image across the region. Nylund themselves was keen to remove Reitzmag's random assortment of warships in the Atlantic, and was willing to make specific overtures to protect Reitzmag interests in exchange for that.
The Fourth Konsulate (that responsible for foreign relations), had arranged for the Prime Minister of Reitzmag, Simon Bridges, to arrive at Nyetthem Executive Air Station as is typical of most foreign diplomats and state leaders. From there High Representative Anne Eriksson would meet the Prime Minister there, before departing with the Prime Minister to meet with the Archkonsul at the Konsulate of Vayinaod.
High Representative Erikkson was Nylund's successor, and while of different political parties both share the same policy ideas and standards for protocol for foreign relations. Erikkson knew instinctively to make it clear to the Reitzmen that no fighter escorts would be allowed into Vayinaod, and was much on the same page with the Archkonsul for the end goal of the summit.
Erikkson waited at the airport's VIP longue for the arrival of the Reitzmic party before departing to the tarmac to meet the Prime Minister.

Vespina was ready, Simon had rushed to the area and headed straight to board the plane. A few moments later, it took off. 10 Bloodhound Fighters escorted the flight but broke out from it a mile away from Vayinaod's border in compliance to the agreement. The Government trusted Vayinaod and had continually tried to improve their relations with them. About an hour later, the plane successfully landed at the Nyetthem Executive Airport. SImon came out after the smooth ride and met with Erikkson.

Eriksson greet the Prime Minister per Vardic protocol. There was a ceremonial honor guard to greet the Reitzmic entourage, before they would proceed to the Konsulate for the rest of the summit.
The motorcade on the way there was met with some slight small talk about the summit. Eriksson mentioned the Archkonsul willing to look sign a variety of renewed trade agreements.
Once the pair arrived at the Konsulate, the Prime Minister was formally introduced to the Archkonsul of the Archrepublic. After posing for pictures for the press, the pair retreated to within the Konsulate for the initial private lunch before they would conduct a formal press conference.

Simon greeted Eriksson and went on with the protocols. Upon arrival, Simon shook hands with Kristian. This was his first time to meet a Vardic Head of State/Government.
"Greetings Mr. Nylund, I see we have a lot to discuss today?" said Simon.
