Duchies Assured Standards

Duchies Assured is your garuntee that the product is made to the legendary quality Duchies standards. The scheme is run by the Duchies Federation of Manufacturing. A product must meet the following standards to get the mark:

Conditions
1. At least 60% of the products parts or ingredients must be made in Duchies or final assembly must take place in Duchies to Duchies quality standards with 40% of parts or ingredients made in United Duchies. For product categories where 40% Duchian parts requirement is not possible the final assembly of the product must take place in the Duchies.
2:If non-consumable product must have a minimum garuntee of 10 years with reasonable use
3:If non-consumable parts must be reasonably available for a minimum of 20 years after the launch of the product for it to be eligible with parts design schematics and production processes made public if part is no longer made or kept in stock by the company itself.
4. The product must pass the standards of safety and testing equivlent to Duchies Standards
5. All products must be packaged in fully recyclable or compostable packaging and be made with 80% recycled or sustainably sourced packaging.

This standard is for food and agricultural products and their derivatives. The scheme is run in conjuction with the Duchies Association of Farmers. The scheme requires the following conditions to meet these key standards:

Conditions
1. If a derivative product the product must have at least 50% duchies ingredients
2. Crops and meat on the scheme must be grown in United Duchies
3. Any bird livestock must not exceed 9 per sq metre in farming and if free range must not exceed 5 per sq Metre.
4. Big livestock must have a minimum of10 sq metres in barns per animal
5.Sow stalls and farrowing crates are prohbited in the schemes standards
6. Tail docking , tooth clipping and unnecessary parocedures are banned on the scheme
7. Animal accomodation must be strawlined
8.Soil must be assessed weekly for quality with reports sent
9. Animals must be stunned or gassed ethically before slaughter even for religious slaughter
10. No Neonectinoid pesticides may be used
11. No Glyphosphate pesticide may be used
12. Pain relief or anaesthetic must be used on animals for painful necessary procedures with agricultural vets involved
13. All products must be packaged in fully recyclable or compostable packaging and be made with 80% recycled or sustainably sourced packaging.

Any farm, product or company not using these standards may not get the Purple Tractor Logo.

Handcrafted in Duchies is our scheme for handcrafted products.All products to get this label must meet the following conditions:

Conditions
1. The product must be Hand assembled in the United Duchies
2. The product paint and finishes must be hand painted or applied
3. Traditional Industry techniques must be used to make the product
4. Any baking or cooking must be done by small scale hand production
5. Where a product is not a consumable it must have a minimum guarantee of 10 years
6. At least 50% of parts or ingredients must come from the United Duchies
7. All products must be packaged in fully recyclable or compostable packaging and be made with 80% recycled or sustainably sourced packaging.

The symbol for designed in Duchies products. To qualify for this label the product must be at least 50% designed or engineered in the United Duchies with 50% of funding or employees in the research and development of the product in the United Duchies.

Conditions
1. If travel delayed over 3 hours 200 Dux Libra compensation must be payed out and food voucher provided if the delay is overnight accommodation must be offered if travel is delayed over 6 hours or flight cancelled compensation of 3 times the price of the flight leg must be provided
2. If a hotel or flight reservation is cancelled before or after departure an alternative of equivalent quality and service must be offered or a refund or account credit provided if this is not possible
3. If a holiday to a destination is cancelled due to safety issues or security issues alternative destinations must be offered and if requested by customer a refund provided
4. Luggage must be covered by a protection guarantee of up to 10,000 Dux Libra in case of loss or theft of luggage if checked in or handed to staff to be stored. A receipt must be given.
5. All package holidays are required to be covered by this guaruntee
6. If any trips are cancelled on a holiday an alternative must be offered or a refund of the trips value offered if this is not possibly
7. Any package holiday provider operating in United Duchies must adhere to this guaruntee
8. All package holiday companies in United Duchies must put 5% of the holiday price into an insurance fund which will pay out in major events or if a company ceases operating
8. For the guaruntee to apply the 2 of the following three aspects must be provided , Accomodation, Trips and Travel to and from the destination and must be booked through the same company.

Conditions
1. If travel delayed over 3 hours 200 Dux Libra compensation must be payed out and food voucher provided if the delay is overnight accomodation must be offered. Seats on the next available flights or a valid flight combination within any airline alliance must be offered if they are available.
2. If travel is delayed over 6 hours or flight cancelled a refund of 3 times the flight value must be provided
3. Luggage must be covered by a protection guarantee of up to 10,000 Dux Libra in case of loss or theft of luggage if checked in or handed to staff to be stored. A receipt must be given.
4. All Duchian Airlines must abide by this guarantee
5. All Duchian Airlines must put 5% of the ticket price into an insurance fund which will pay out in major events or if a company ceases operating

Conditions
1. If travel is delayed over 1 hours 100 Dux Libra compensation must be payed out and food voucher provided if the delay is overnight accomodation must be offered. If the trains are cancelled for 24 hours 3 times the ticket price in compensation must be provided.
2. Travel on the next valid train combination must be provided in event of a cancellation or if a later scheduled train arrives first . This may prioritise Train Alliance combinations first.
3. Luggage must be covered by a protection guarantee of up to 10,000 Dux Libra in case of loss or theft of luggage if checked in or handed to staff to be stored. A receipt must be given.
4. All Duchian TOC's must abide by this guarantee
5. All Duchian TOC's must put 5% of the ticket price into an insurance fund which will pay out in major events or if a company ceases operating

Conditions
1. If travel is delayed over 1 hours 100 Dux Libra compensation must be payed out and food voucher provided if the delay is overnight accomodation must be offered. If the coaches are cancelled for 24 hours 3 times the ticket price in compensation must be provided.
2. Travel on the next valid coach combination must be provided in event of a cancellation or if a later scheduled train arrives first . This may prioritise Train Alliance combinations first.
3. Luggage must be covered by a protection guarantee of up to 10,000 Dux Libra in case of loss or theft of luggage if checked in or handed to staff to be stored. A receipt must be given.
4. All Duchian COC's must abide by this guarantee
