National Lower House: The Assembly of Workers. This assembly is made up of workers elected in each worker's cooperative across the country. The size of the company represents how many seats they get.
National Upper House: The Assembly of Nationalities is the assembly made up of representatives from each Socialist Republic. Each Socialist Republic has 10 members in the assembly, except for Rujonau which has 20. This makes for a total of 50 members of this assembly.
Each Socialist Republic has a Republic Assembly, where a representative of each commune is chosen to represent them. These communes are all around the same population. The people who choose to run offer their platform. Political parties are banned, but there are differences in approaches with different people running for the 4 Republic Assemblies.
Members of the Politburo related to a specific industry are elected by the people in that industry. Ie, in healthcare a healthcare professional is elected by people in that profession to represent them in government.Population:

The United Nicoleizian Socialist Republics is made up of 4 Socialist Republics.

Politics and Government
Political Structure:
Assembly of Workers
Members of this 2,900 member assembly are elected by the members of their cooperatives. Different cooperatives get different amounts of representatives, the larger ones (in terms of workers employed) getting more. Smaller cooperatives of a similar sector have to merge to elect just one member between them.
Assembly of Nationalities
The Assembly of Nationalities is the Upper House of Nicoleizian politics. It has 50 members in its entirety, 10 members for each dominion other than Rujonau which receives 20 members. It is elected by the Republic Assemblies, who are elected via FPTP.
Republic Assemblies
The 4 Republic Assemblies are elected via FPTP, each commune gets one representative to represent their interests on this level.
The Politburo
The Politburo is a semi-elected body. Some ministers are elected by the sector they represent, with plebiscites allowed to force a vote on a particular issue.
The responsibilities of the Assemblies
The Politburo is the executive, pushing forward a combined, national agenda to firstly nationalise, standardise and collectivise the sectors the members have control over. As a whole, they vote on a budget to be put forward to the Assembly of Workers. The Assembly of Workers then decides on everything economic: such as business regulations, VAT, international trade and infrastructure. The Assembly of Nationalities scrutinises the legislation put forward by the Assembly of Workers, and both these houses have to come to a consensus on a particular bill. The Assembly of Nationalities consents to international treaties. The Republic Assemblies are responsible for health, education, sanitation and other strictly local issues.

The New Nicoleizian Economy
The economy is being divided into things controlled directly by the Cabinet/Politburo and those controlled by workers cooperatives. All non-essentials will soon be controlled by workers cooperatives, like luxuries/pleasantries. For example, essential foods will be controlled by the government, their growing / procurement is run by the state. However, things like chocolates are produced or obtained by workers cooperatives and sold by them for a profit. Supermarkets will be a joint scheme between the government and different workers cooperatives providing different experiences. Such as small corner shops, medium sized shops on high streets, and large supermarkets. Agriculture, mining, energy, water and broadband are all controlled by the state, and any profits they make from their sale abroad is reinvested into the system. All of these are being centralised and collectivised to work more efficiently for national targets. The reason that these industries are being centralised and collectivised and not non-essentials are not, is because they're not as important to both national security and the basic needs for life of the people of Icholasen.
This economic system is being implemented, meaning that not all of this is in effect yet, but it is in a transitional phase.
Foreign Policy
Since early 2020, the Nicoleizian communists have been enthusiastic in their support for foreign communists. Their policy is to support the growth and encourage new socialist or communist regimes to rise across Europe.
