Nation Name: Kingdom of Reitzmag
Applicant's name and applicant's authority to apply on behalf of their nation: Min. Ben Wallace of the Ministry of Defense
Nation's IC Count (must be greater than 0): 35,152.66
Does your nation meet minimum requirements for nuclear weapon production? (Find this in your war list in the technology section) Your answer does not necessarily have to be yes, although your license will be for trade only if you are not capable of producing your own weaponry: Yes
Reasons for applying: Why do you want to produce a nuclear arsenal?: Recent threats from the UNSR which has nuclear capabilities forcing the Reitzmic Government to risk disobedience of European law. The threats were found evident after 2 explosions were witnessed in which one almost destroyed a billion euro worth of space technology called the Cansey Space Station. It is not far that an incident like this might happen again in the future and could include the use of nuclear weapons. And as a continuously improving nation with a stable rising economy, it is not far that our nation may become a target of numerous threats such as the one that happened recently.
Reasons for approval: Why should the ENAA grant approval?: Reitzmag is a democratic country that tries to avoid armed conflicts and tries to ensure that all matters are solved in a diplomatic way. The use of these licenses are for deterrent purposes and is prohibited by Reitzmic law to be used for aggression. Despite claims of not being capable of handling these WMDs, our nation seeks to have peace unto those other nations. As a matter of fact, Reitzmag deploys troops as assistive defenses to nations like Valhalla and gives protection and defense to different nations such as Icholasen whom which is territorially based on a land enclaved within the Kingdom of Reitzmag as a part of a deal. The approval of this application would help us ensure the security of those nations who call for our protection. We wish that you, honorable members of the ENAA, understand our situation in this times of crises. -
"In a 5 - 0 vote, the ENAA has decided to deny the Kingdom of Reitzmag nuclear weapons at this time. The Kingdom of Reitzmag still faces the aftermath of its civil war from half a year ago, as well as continued diplomatic crises which show only some positive change but continue to show a fundamental obstacle to being trusted with nuclear weapons.
The recent crisis with the ' Union of Nicoleizian Socialist Republics' showcases in the ENAA's opinion an inability to remove a romanticism with conflict from its governing philosophy, and a lack of understanding of proportional response that is required to be a state to be trusted with Nuclear weapons. This recent crisis with the UNSR shows also trademark erratic diplomacy committed by the Kingdom of Reitzmag, at times it may make treaties with the communists for relatively understandable reasons only to renege on those treaty obligations to fulfill giving the other side of the conflict territory. Diplomatic consistency is a vital characteristic the ENAA looks for in any potential nuclear state.
The ENAA welcomes progress made by Reitzmag, but believes there is still far more to be desired. The Kingdom of Reitzmag may submit an additional application in 8 months time."

Nation Name: Kingdom of Reitzmag
Applicant's name and applicant's authority to apply on behalf of their nation: Ben Wallace, Minister of the Crown under the Ministry of Defense
Nation's IC Count : 89,146
Does your nation meet minimum requirements for nuclear weapon production? : Yes
Reasons for applying: The situation throughout Europe has challenged the country's capability to defend itself from external threats, including both nuclear and non-nuclear nations that have openly shown hostility both directly and indirectly to the country. Although it has been the country's ambition to create a Europe with peace and keep itself away from conflict, the various situations referred had been a hindrance to such. And it is for these reasons that it has been decided by the Parliament of the Kingdom of Reitzmag that another application be sent again to the ENAA for the production and use of nuclear weapons.
Reasons for approval: The Kingdom of Reitzmag has for the past year proven itself capable of managing and handling weapons through proportional response on conflicts and issues that it faces. In addition, it has remained committed to its no first strike policy and remained in a strong defensive position while keeping its allies and interests abroad safe and secure. Democratic processes are also used on the conduct of decisions of critical foreign and internal policy. It has also participated in various humanitarian programs and operations to aid those who have been heavily affected by conflicts and various unfortunate incidents, and have exerted great effort in protecting the human rights of its people whilst punishing those who violate it . And finally, it has continually been dedicated to agreements and treaties that it is bound by, subject that its national security is not in risk of breach at such cases were the provisions of an agreement is invoked. -
In a 5-0 decision, the ENAA has elected NOT to grant the Kingdom of Reitzmag nuclear weapons as this time. While the ENAA concerns previously expressed over its security and potential handling of weaponry have improved in the technical aspects, the ENAA fears that the diplomatic area has not as improved as much.
There were two concurring thoughts among the ENAA.
One camp cited the recent Strait Crisis in which the Reitzmics involved themselves as an area of concern similar to the UNSR crisis in 2020 and that the Kingdom of Reitzmag was still acting as a provocative state that can not be trusted with nuclear weaponry.
Another camp cited continued Reitzmic romanticism of conflict in its popular culture, including the newly integrated mass conscription system in the country, as well as Reitzmic paranoia towards other nations. There was a belief that the Kingdom of Reitzmag would be potentially quick to pull the trigger so to speak in any conflict it felt pushed into a corner in.
The ENAA would like to address the attempts from outside parties to sway the ENAA's decision. The ENAA is a neutral body, it does not side with, nor specifically care what side of a conflict or dispute a party may be on. It cares about the specific actions, counters, and statements a party makes during those events. The ENAA is not meant to influence parties to change their behaviors and the same is expected of parties outside the ENAA in regards to the treatment of the ENAA.
The ENAA is an independent body, and no influence or statement from outside parties has any bearing on its decisions.
The ENAA welcomes the Kingdom of Reitzmag to reapply in one years time, and that no applications will be considered until that time.

Nation Name: Kingdom of Reitzmag
Applicant's name and applicant's authority to apply on behalf of their nation: Ben Wallace, Minister of the Crown for Defence
Nation's IC Count : 161,117
Does your nation meet minimum requirements for nuclear weapon production? : Yes
Reasons for applying: Upon considering the opinions of experts and the Armed Forces, and the sentiments of the people through Parliament in terms of improving national security, the Ministry of Defence has found it imperative that maintaining a strong deterrent in the wake of an increase in number of nuclear powers would be necessary in protecting peace and security within the region in the long term. Because this decision is contrary to the country's traditional policy of opposition to weapons of mass destruction, it shall be on record that the decision was made with strict consideration of various factors and a strong rationale.
Reasons for approval: The Kingdom of Reitzmag has maintained its position of improving and exemplifying its standing in both military and diplomatic areas, fostering ways for cooperation while promoting its interest with cautious responses to various global and regional situations. While the country disagrees with the previous opinion of the ENAA that its policies are a product of paranoia or romanticism of conflict, it has strongly maintained implementation of those including the conscription system which has been found to have achieved many of its goals such as the reduction of crime rates and unhealthy living. In addition, the country has consistently adhered to its newly adopted defence doctrines and rules of engagement tailor-made in conjunction with its allies to consider the status quo and possible future geopolitical situations. Finally, the continued presence of external threats has made it consider various responses with extreme caution, dismissing any provocation it has deemed to have no logically real implication to the country while maintaining vigilance for any sudden change in those situations.
