"It pleases me that there will now likely be a full embargo on the so-called UNSR. It is important that the communists feel the full power of the European Union. United, indivisible. This is one of my proudest moments to be a part of the European Union, when it works together towards a common good and a common future while also recognising our distinct differences. Without trade of basic supplies, the so-called UNSR will crumble and fall. Its citizenry will rise against its oppressive leadership. If they don't have bread, then of course let them eat cake. But then when the cake runs out... that's when it gets real nasty. Not nice.
I would, of course, like to reach out to the government of the so-called UNSR. Stop couping! Stop it! Make the country not be couped."

"Despite the failure of the embargo amendment in the Council, we can be very proud that the repeal of the condemnation itself has not passed. Were that to happen, the very existence of the true government of Icholasen would be in question, and all hope of a restoration of the Romanov House the restoration of democracy would be totally gone. Across the Free Icholasen government in exile, we commend Speaker Firoux, Duchess Poppy Carlton-Romanov and all Councillors who supported Free Icholasen in the Council this time and all times."

Statement about the Ruling in Ruthund by Samantha Terrace, Acting Korojaunu in Exile
We totally disagree with the decision made. It is not 'bias' to prefer this government, who had its territory wrongfully stolen. It isn't denialism either. Denialism would be to support a government with no legitimacy, no accountability, and no democracy. This is also verging on illegal.
We take this decision very seriously, and we have decided to end all diplomatic cooperation with Ruthund other than those legally mandated by the European Union.

Withdrawal of all Capital and Offices from Copala City
The government of the United Dominions of Icholasen condemns in the strongest terms the actions of the government of Reitzmag and has decided to remove all of its diplomatic offices, and any other offices from Copala City and any other areas in Reitzmag. The government requests a refund from the government of Reitzmag for this indiscretion and for the jeopardisation of its assets in Copala City of 20 billion EMUS. The government will no longer have any business with Reitzmag and will not re-open an embassy. Icholasen will not cooperate with any governments that shirk their responsibilities.
Reitzmag can restore this trust only by reinstating the treaty, and coming to the table if they have any serious requests or modifications.
The government of Icholasen gave the people of the city their right to vote, and for their heinous crime of voting in leaders that represent them, they have been repressed and their democracy taken away.

Statement on Europe
We congratulate Emma Granger of Montenbourg and Donald Tusk of Spain for a well fought and kind campaign to become EPA Chairperson. Though our Councillor was a #TuskHusk, we congratulate Emma Granger with all our hearts. We understand that Granger is in charge of more than just seating arrangements, and wish her luck in whatever chair-related and non-chair-related work she has to do.
We are also fans of Cocx. We would like to thank him for his large Cocx bill, and his Cocx sanctions on the FAKE UNSR. Thanks Cocx !

Statement by Her Royal Highness Queen Anastasia II
I will wait 72 hours for devolution to be restored to Copala City and the Maxwells charges dropped, or I will engage in divorce proceedings with the Reitzmic guy I married, whatever his name was.
Unfortunately, as a royal, one seldom marries for love. This was a decision to keep my people safe and sound, and to restore Copala City and New Moreland's agreed powers in that treaty we all signed.

Statement on the Candidacy of Piane Daggot
Should Piane win - which we think is highly unlikely, and unbecoming of our Union - we will let her govern as a candidate from Icholasen.
This does not mean we will ever work with her on any projects - we not engage with talks with her or engage in any of her projects.
Perhaps, in completing these elections, she will realise what power democracy has over tyranny, oppression, and state-overreach. Perhaps, even in defeat, she will realise that the power of liberal democracy is a great one that we must preserve.
We allowed Piane to run in Copala City for much the same reason, but unfortunately the incredibly short-sighted, pig-headed and rude Reitzmic government decided to end democracy in Copala City - encouraging authoritarians like Piane Daggot.
We will let her run as a Nicoleizian candidate, but we urge everyone in Europe to vote for EMMA GRANGER for Internal Affairs Commissioner.
She is the only candidate who will stand up for Nicoleizian interests.

Exodus to Anastasia City
We, with the help of the Duchian government, have decided to begin the exodus across the Caspian to our new home in the Duchies. We will firstly be housed in any manner possible, and then move into houses. Under the UDoHR, we have a right to our property, and will be loading as many items as possible onto the boats taking us across the sea.
We welcome any Reitzmic help in this endeavour.

Condemnation of Reitzmag for its incitement violence in Copala City
The violence in Copala City is sad, but is directly caused by Reitzmic intransigence.
We urge the Reitzmic government to put out the fires it caused, and to provide humanitarian aid to the remaining Copalans.
Please follow the UDoHR which states that people can move, take their possessions, and live freely. If not, we will be forced to take the nation to the ECoJ.
We, once again, urge calm from the Reitzmic authorities and urge them not to ethnically cleanse Copala City of its Nicoleizians and Inquistan Orthodox people.

Free Icholasen wholeheartedly supports Spain’s right to control its seas, after all, aren’t all countries owed the right to security and peace ?
Please stop needless condemnation, and let the Spanish government exercise its legitimate rights.
