Republic of Fremet: FLR
-
Headquarters: Erkundungsstraße 1, Trondheim, Trøndelag, Fremet
The Fremetian Air and Space Center (FLR) was founded in 1966 by the Fremetian government to facilitate the launch of scientific research initiatives and satellite communications systems allowing for more efficient links that bypassed the UNSR.
Since then, the FLR has expanded to one of Fremet's largest government research agencies as well as maintaining Fremet's orbital intelligence and communications infrastructures. The FLR has also been active in research in and around Low Earth Orbit. In 2016, NOAA transferred maintenance and administration duties of their weather satellites. The Agency held no launches between 2016 and 2020, during which time it was developing the Chariot launch system to accommodate the Vardic Thor Crew Capsule.
The FLR and Vardic Space Agency have since been conducting manned space launches and joint missions out of the Midtenskov Space Port at the Fremetia Space Centre in South Central Fremet.
The Current Agency Head is Administrator Vince Ebert. The Agency is also led by Deputy Administrator Penilla Gunther.
