In case any of you have been wondering, yes, there have been a number of war crimes committed in Kiel, on both sides. They are listed, as of now, below:

ON THE SIDE OF THE GUERILLAS:

      1. Usage of poison weapons
      2. Deprivation of prisoners of war of a fair trial.
      3. Inhumane treatment.
      4. Summary execution.
      5. Killing of surrendered combatants.
      6. Perfidy.

ON THE SIDE OF REITZMIC FORCES:

      1. Violation of the principle of proportionality.
      2. Violation of the principle of military necessity.
      3. Declaration of no quarter.

This list will be updated as events progress. As of 30 September 2020, the Haaneans have proven themselves to be far more willing to commit war crimes than the Reitzmic people.

Why is this in an OOC section of the forum? War crimes are entirely an IC thing and discussion/tracking of such really belongs inside the RP simulation in some capacity.

War crimes are IC, yes, but many of those listed here are based on information taken from IC secret posts.

What's the point of this, though? Reitzmag is not going to face OOC consequences for IC war crimes...the EU does not even have law regarding war crimes. IC Secret also does not apply to anything actionable OOC, if admins have to act on something in the simulation, its secret status does not make a shred of difference.

I still don't see why this is in this section, but there's no obvious place to move it to since I don't understand what you are trying to accomplish with it.

I didn't expect anyone to take this this seriously...the point of this post is simply to point out that if this ridiculous 'battle' had taken place in RL, both sides would have likely been forced to stand trial before the ICC. I don't expect anyone to act on this post, either IC or RL.

I think having this list here is fine. This is just an OOC list of IC things. I don't think this list in any way insinuates that these things haven't happened in RP. It's just a means of tracking things for a laugh. As EH has pointed out, this list is mostly tongue in cheek, pointing to the absurdity of the battle.

TBF, some RPs ,notably war RP,s could probably use an OOC thread to dictate important notes/things that may have gone unnoticed/were not clear in the RP.

The list is actually an interesting topic tbh.
