Local Government Reform
Today the government passed a law on local government reform reforming how local governments are ran. Currently there are three levels of government the National government , Duchy Government and the Local Authority with the local focusing on all local policy and public services and National And Duchy governments delivering Health and General Public services.
The reform will split local government in two with councils providing public services and bin collections and mainting most delivery of local services but making a new Combined Authority with an elected Regional Mayor to make decisions on planning , regional transport policy and , regional development , local road maintenance and Business Enterprise Support. The job of mayors will be to integrate rural areas into the the urban areas and develop regional transport policies and systems and also advocate for their region and market their region to business and other departments of government.
The new powers for levels of government are as follows:

Elections for Regional Mayors will be held in 6 months.The mayoral authorities shall exist in Supseaxe , Baltica and Westseaxna
