Response to the Resignation of Councillor Charles Michel of Fremet
3 May, 2021
Honorable Council Speaker and dearest Councillor Michel,
This morning, regretfully, I received your letter of intent to resign from your position as member of the European Progressive Alliance. I understand as you clearly state in your letter that change is the only constant in this world because there comes a time when all of us must recognise that change and move forward on our new path. I was personally surprised to learn you were leaving, your positive contributions to the dynamics of this party will be greatly missed, and It is with mixed feelings that I accept your resignation.
The construction of a better Europe is an art. It is the art of the possible, is the history of this Progressive Alliance.
On behalf of all of us, I wish you every success at your new endeavours.

Thank you!
31 May, 2021
Friends,
This morning, I presented my candidacy for Internal Affairs Commissioner; as you may well know our fellow friend Councillor Tusk will succed the position as EPA Chairperson. Before I leave I wanted to say one final thank you for the honor of serving as your Chairwoman. Because all that I’ve learned in my time in office, I’ve learned from you fellow friends.
This party has always been the source of goodness, resilience, and hope from which I've pulled strength. Because the construction of a better Europe is an art. It is the art of the possible, is the history of this Progressive Alliance.
And when the arc of our progressive causes seems slow, remember: Our party is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our charter is the word 'We the progressives".

European Progressive Alliance's October 2021 Manifesto
"Creating the Union of the Future"
Today, as the European Progressive Alliance Chairman, I wanted to address the Eurogroup colleagues and Caucus Members to finally announce our candidates and reveal our full 'October 2021 Election Manifesto', which will have to be ratified in the next 2021 Saint Dominico Convention, where we will continue to work all together towards the prohect that started four months ago.
Our candidate for Premier Commissioner is, as announced by himself, Jean-Claude Juncker from the Kingdom of Spain. His experience and knowledge about the European Union, along with his social skills make him our perfect candidate for such an important position. On the other hand, our candidate for Internal Affairs Commissioner is Paul-Gabrielle Muzhare, from Nofoaga. She has always served the European Progressive Alliance since she joined, bringing a new vision to both the European Council and the Eurogroup; as well as being keen on defending minorities and Europe's interests overall. I'm pretty sure Paul-Gabrielle will do a great job this campaign.
I wish the best of luck to our candidates, which count and will always count with my endorsement.
Good luck to both.
