Policy announcement
I believe Europe's government is best when its lead by the people. Not elite globalist politicians , not career politicians and not big corporations and wealthy elite billionaires. Therefore I announce a new policy I believe will make the EU more democratic and nations sovereign. Any act may face a challenge if it meets 500,000 -1 milion signatures Europe wide . A passed act may be repealed or amended with a 55%+1 margin of the total public vote. I would move to get an act introduced as soon as possible to achieve this or reform of the EACA. Its time for the people to have more say in their laws. -

Leeson:Hello Cair Para and Europe.. We today stand in uncertain times , a Europe in war and chaos , nations in the throws of EU exit movements and an ever more powerful sovereignty threatening in Eu destabilising towards collapse and politicians in the EU out of touch with an EPA unfit for purpose running the show in too many countries. Its time to say enough , enough of ever more EU , enough of diktats from Europolis , enough of countries being demoted to mere colonies. Its time to tell the EU enough its time for change.I say we need a new EU, one of national sovreignty and working together in co-operation conservatives and liberals , socialists and cappitalists , Europeans working together while preserving our cultures. A new EU not of the political class acting like hypocrites flying around while pretending to be green , I guess preserving the environment is something only the working class should do not the elites who can #JunckerUpTheEnvironment all they like. That is why I propose adding more direct citizen involvement in the Eu through referendums but only if approved by referendum after all a change of this magnitude should be decided by the people not politicians in their ivory towers also if approved the law should cover any major constitutional changes in the EU , people should decide on the constitution not politicians though if people vote against a referendum law being in effect that's up to the people. Its why I also propose loosing social laws in the Europe back down to the member states working with nations to reduce diktats starting with laws like marriage age, lgbt marriage and other issues like women's rights while a minimum is needed these must respect national cultures also or regional cultures even. Far too long the EU has been poking its nose in , we joined for a EU that respects sovereignty not one to dictate to us. We can achieve change we can make things better but you need a moderate centrist candidate like myself one that can bring conservatives and liberals , capitalists and socialists together like I have done in my role as party leader and PM in the United Duchies. I have worked in a system of compromise all my life in business and in Duchies politics , I can bring that to Europe.
Just because I value sovereignty though doesn't mean I don't want to work together , nations should be able to opt-in or indeed out of programmes , we need new programmes like an opt-in free trade zone, an opt-in e-visa zone and to make Eurorail only funded by countries involved , any programme should only be funded by those that opt-in and benefit. Its time to end one budget contribution for all programmes , I call for reform of the budget lets slash the standard contribution then countries can pick and mix what they want to fund or be involved in . Its time for Countries to have the say where there money goes and how they implement broad goals thank you. I also welcome reccomendations for policies , if you have a policy idea email or send a message on social media to my campaign and we will consider it , if you think a part of my agenda needsa changinig,revision or scrapping tell me after all I am here as your servant, I will listen.

Ammendment to Referendum Policy:
To Protect the smaller nations as well as ensure popular support in referendums I'd propose that any referendum would require a 55% +1 majority of the population vote and 55%+1 of countries to vote for a repeal or amendment to a law or for any change in the EU constitution to take effect. It is important small nations are protected against bigger nations and I thank those who have wrote in with their concerns and suggestions to improve the policy. -

In line with my pledge to run the greenest campaign in the history of the EU elections I will be holding virtual rallies with live feeds to multiple venues across the countries to reduce travelling distance and therefore carbon emissions. I will also be using a ferry and train to get to Leagio to avoid the extra carbon emissions of flying. I hope you all understand why I have made this decision , our childrens and grandchildrens future is not worth sacrificing for the convenience of flying to be at rallies in person adding to the climate emergency we face. -

Hello Leagio, I am happy to be in such a great nation campaigning for your vote and trying to fight for your sovreignty.
I wish to to speak of an issue no one seems to bring up. This budget had a 41 billion Euro surplus sitting in an EU bank account , this is money that you the taxpayer fund just to get back 12 months later. This is not how you finance and institution , the EU should only take what it needs, every Euro thats in that surplus is money that cannot be spent on your healthcare, welfare and other departments in your country or used for tax cuts. Its money wasted possibly even costing you money in interest if you have to borrow to fund the contribution in a bad year. I would seek to change this practise to ensure the EU only takes what it needs , it must budget and manage money like nations do not take extra and return it if not used. No sane nation is run like this. I like the EU it does great things but it needs to change and reform to serve its people better and this is one way it can do that.I would also like to clarify on my referendum policy, I believe it is important smaller nations are protected , that is why I have adopted into campaign policy the idea that any referendum to amend EU laws or repeal them must have 55%+1 of nations and the popular vote with the same for constitutional referendums. It is vital all nations are protected.
I'd like to talk on sovreignty for a moment, the EU has been stealing more and more of your sovreignty over the last few months and years. We are at a crisis point with Reitzmag considering leaving and Angleter with the possibility of Mennrimiak also following out. We cannot let this happen and we cannot let a Super Union develop as an alternative Europe must stay united but to do that it must change ,no more can we push for more and more EU, its time to return sovreignty to the people. I would if elected talk to all nations aboout what laws they'd like to see repealed or amended and listen to their concerns , we need an EU willing to listen something it hasn't done too well as of late. I will change that. Lets get ready for the bonfire on over regulation and diktats from the EU on social laws and many other laws.

Juncker has accused me of not knowing about the environment claiming it is greener to fly to Alharya than use a ferry. This would be true if he was irresponsibly using a petrol or diesel car with multiple people in it and he wasn't flying a private jet rather than a budget airline. The fact he uses a private jet and petrol and diesel cars only shows his further hypocrisy in claiming to be for the planet while having a ravenous carbon footprint himself. Furthermore he could do what I have decided and hold a virtual rally with a live feed to avoid the need for the plane altogether.I also ask how is he funding this, is this from his Eurocrat Corporate elite money pool , how can you trust a candidate who is brought. We have a solid grassroots campaign here, or you can support a corporate puppet.Furthermore he say's gay marriage is a right that is a question for member states frankly as long as they allow a civil partnership of equal status then it should be up to the state. His extreme liberal politics and forcing of it on all EU member states and the increasingly extremist femenist agenda of the EPA is the problem , they are the ones driving nations like Angleter, Reitzmag and Pravoslaviya to the point of considering leaving. Their dictating of forcing nations to provide so called "rights" will tear this Union apart and then what , they can just get rid of civil partnerships as well , wouldn't you rather as an LGBT and women have some protection rather than none, nations need time to develop and increase their rights. Remember the rights we have today in nations like Spain and the Duchies were won over many generations, you get progress by evolution not revolution. If you want human rights and civil rights to be delayed for many more years elect extremist feminist and social justice warriors if not elect a moderate who can keep the Union together. Its your choice SJW extremists, Anti-SJW extremists or a moderate choice in between in myself. I hope you choose the side of evolution and real progress.

An update to the referendum policy:
After consultation with experts I have made the following amendments to the Referendum policy:
1:1% of the EU population will be required to sign a petition on an EU run referendum website in order for it to make it to the referendum stage.
2:Referendums will be held as ballot inntiatives twice a year 1 in the first half of the year and the 2nd in the last 3 months of the year with a week set out to run the referendum ballot innitiatives in each of these periods to reduce election fatigue possibility.
3:Leaflets would be sent out to homes with arguments from all campaigns 1 month before referendum weeks.
4:We shall also with 0.5% of the EU population suggest that petitions for debates be considered if they reach this threshold providing another outlet for an issue to be considered. -
On helping EU Members
It is essential we help EU members recover and not punish them when they are down. I can think of two nations where this is applicable in different ways right now. On Alkharya I pledge this , a Leeson IAC office would be on your side. I would work with nations and allies in Europe to help you access aid, low interest development funds but importantly I would trust you with your redevelopment, there would be no EU telling you what you can spend money on or not , no EU wasting its time putting diktats on you , you'd get money unconditionally to spend as you know how to since you know your countries needs best. That is my promise aid and sovereignty and freedom to spend it how you need to without constant reporting as you will not have time for that.On Istkalen we will support you and your continued membership. We will support your development being directed by your government and offer aid to help your recovery.You are not the villain , an evil corrupt government was and I would not seek to punish you.I promise to block any sanction requests with my vote should they come to the office, I will not support a single sanction on Istkalen unless something changes radically. Furthermore I support you charting your own course , your future is yours to decide, not the JTAI's , not the EU's , not any nation in the Union except you. I will oppose any effort to force you to implement laws contrary to your culture. As long as you follow human rights and democratic guidelines its fine by the me, the shape of your democracy should be up to you. You know I am a centrist supportive of Duchies Social Market Economy principles but I understand these may not work in your country and would not seek to implement these on any other country in Europe or let if blind my judgement. I pledge to support you and work with your elected government to forge a positive future with a system that suits your unique wonderful culture even if we may have differences of oppinion much like I did in the Duchies in my dealings with the north of the Duchies and treating their culture with respect. Policy on EU budget(Excerpt From Leeson Rally)
Its time to fundementally change how Europe and its institutions are funded . I would make anything except funding of the EU comission, Council and European Courts of Justice entirely optional and opt in. You hear me correct opt-in , you will choose what you participate , all programmes will be required to agree on a budget with their members individually and then members pay their fair share based at least partly on their GDP. The EU shall only be allowed to take what it needs to perform its core functions of the Comission, Council and European courts of justice. I will also seek to restrict costs on these sections by looking to increase commission terms to a year so one can actually achieve something before having to go into campaigning mode, the current system does not work. For budget control I recognise its member state money which is why I believe wages should be reasonable and not expensive for EU public servants, the clue is in the word public servant. Yes this means looking at where we can cut wage costs to save member states money , I would look at this with all member states.For opt in programmes there would a be an ammount agreed by programme members to pay towards the upkeep of the programme but this would not be a limit. If members want to donate more like I'm sure the UD would and Montenbourg on some programmes they can choose to and have our thanks for doing so. Nations would only pay for programmes they are part of, if you are not part of Eurorail you won't pay in pure and simple, you would not get access to benefits of the particular programme but its up to you, we need to recognise not all programmes are suited to all countries. I would discuss with nations around the EU on aid as to whether nations want it to be an opt-in programme or not, however if chosen to be an opt-in programme only countries part of the programme would be eligible for EU aid and Development funds , it wouldn't be fair to have it opt-in only for paying, if you receive you must be willing to give the agreed amount by members of the programme. All payments should be based either on contribution, benefit or a% GDPof the nations possibly modified to help poorer nations. This should ultimately be decided programme by programme. The EU should only be a co-ordinator or programmes among nations, it shouldn't decide how member states money is spent, that is member states money, not money for the globalist Eurocrats to use as their piggybank.

Emma Granger yesterday said Europe is good because our Union is good as if its the EU that makes Europe good. She is wrong, Europe is not good just because of our union its good because of its people, its nations, its multiple cultures and religions all living in harmony. Its good because there are unique nations for all people, all things under threat from this globalist European monoculture that the Emma and her ilk Juncker seek to impose on Europe. If you want a good Europe in the future do all you can to preserve sovereignty , defense of our unique national cultures and freedom for all Europeans conservative or liberal if you want a European monoculture and boring continent vote the EPA , Emma Granger and Juncker. This campaign has made one thing clear , we are in a war , a war against Euro-fanatics in the EPA and people who believe in you the people and nations having ultimate power. This election is pivotal , you can either choose to vote for me and Koline to retake power for you the citizen and the nationstate or vote for the EPA and give even more of your nations sovereignty away , I know which I want to see so use your vote to save the EU , save Europe but most importantly save your nations from Euro-elites and corporate interests who seek to usurp your sovereignty and take all the power themselves. A vote for me is a vote for an end to Euro-dictats and a vote for freedom, democracy and sovereignty of the people and nations in Europe. Statement on DU poll and latest campaign rallies
I thank the Duxburians for their support and would like to thank you and any other voters Europe wide for their suppport. I believe together we can achieve sovereignty once again for nations. I would like to adress this idea change at a constitutional level is not possible or impractical , it is not. Is it easy? No I have never promised change will be easy to achieve but withouit trying fundamental change at constitutional level any change is potentially very temporary waiting just for the next Juncker or Granger or EPA candidate to roll back the change, you cannot trust snakes in the grass that speak of "unity in diversity" while standing against its very principle on a hyper liberal platform that excludes anyone slightly right of centre. If you want change you need to vote for someone seeking the hard change, the lasting change, constitutional change.
