Resignation of membership

To my Friends in EPA
Today it is with great sadness I announce I am leaving the EPA. While great progress socially is to be celebrated I feel we have gone too far. While I respect basic rights must be upheld too much is now dictated to nations in the name of "equality". I believe specific social policies like gay marriage should be the purview of the state or even lower level governments depending on what member states decide. We cannot go on pushing a progressive agenda on all countries regardless of culture that is the way to destroy the EU which I deeply love and want to succeed. This is why I am leaving , I fear we have moved too far apart on national sovreignty and I am not sure the EPA would change enough for me to continue as a member.
