Strathae anthem lyrics changed in key votes to remove catholicism reference
The Strathaen government celebrated today as they won the vote in both houses to change the national anthem. The act of the anthem change got over 65% in both houses. The bill changes part of the anthem from "Gaeil iad féin is ní Caitliceach ná Protastúnach" or "Only Gaels are they, not Catholic nor Protestant..." to "Gaeil iad féin is ní fuathmhar ná móróg" or "Only Gaels are they, not hatemonger nor bigot".

The change is intended to reduce the hate and show the country has moved on from its anti-catholic days. The lyrics date back from the founding resistance where the countries clans fiercely resisted a Catholic regime from outside with theocratic tendencies. The government said in a statement "It's time to move on. Catholics are not the enemies and never were but it was rather the church authorities and a catholic regime with theocratic tendencies. That is no longer the case and the Church and its followers act within democratic and tolerant bounds. We don't agree with the Catholic Church on everything but we feel the hate in the anthem and some aspects of our culture are not justified in a tolerant and accepting society. We will be seeking to root out this hate. We ask all governments , authorities and any organisations world wide no longer use the old version of the anthem out of respect for Catholics and Strathaens. We also ask all sporting authorities to ban it as hate speech in its old form and therefore ban any fans who sing it. We have word from the Strathaen Football Association and other national authorities that they are making this change." The change is not without opposition with critics pointing out its based on a war song of liberation and that its not meant to be taken as a slight on all catholics now and it has been condemned by some as "liberal sjw nonsense". The act is sure to cause controversy into the future with nationalist groups and Blairite groups vowing to use the "true anthem of Strathae".The Strathaen FA has sent a list of songs and chants in Strathaen or English including the old national anthem, anti-pope chants and anti-catholic and christian chants it wants banned from EUFA matches when Strathae plays away. It has called on EUFA to "help Strathae stomp out nationalist hate chants and songs".

349 fans banned amidst winning streak for Strathae
Strathae has had its first two wins in its history of football in a row sending ticket sales surging as Strathaens increasingly rush to ticketing sites to get tickets with matches expected to be full. The win streak has been celebrated by all parties politicians and the whole of Strathae with street parties being organised by people on many streets and authorities rushing to organise community wide street parties to watch the future matches.

Despite this proud moment the Strathaen Football Association have banned 349 fans for anti-catholic chants and mostly for singing the old national anthem instead of the new one and singing the old national anthem during the matches. The football association said "We are proud of our team and the conduct of the vast majority of fans who are naturally celebratory. However a minority of fans have took to anti-catholic chants and singing the old anti--catholic hate song that was our anthem. We have immediately issued life bans for those hatemongers along with any who have said chants about the pope. There is no room for hate in our stadiums and matches and anyone found doing so will recieve lifetime bans from any matches organised by our association or involving the national team. We are passing this list onto UEFA and asking for information regarding any incidents of the songs and chants on our "List of Hate Chants" so we can ban any they know of but we don't. We have decided to place 30 undercover investigators at each match going forward to get this issue under control and any caught on the cameras of our investigators if identified will face bans."

Plans for Ticket Authorisation System for Strathaen Football Association ticket sales
Today Strathae Football Association announced it is looking to vet any people applying to buy tickets for Strathaen Football Association events or Strathae national team matches on its ticket allocation. All buyers of tickets under the plans would be required to consent to a automated bot check of their name and facial picture online as well as social media though the bots will not have access to private messages. If the bot finds out about any news stories of hate speech, hate-crimes or anti-catholic speech or spots any posts of that nature or involving any racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia it will deny the ticket sale to that person.

A spokeswoman for the association said "We take protecting the fans of others and the public very seriously including the public of other countries. That is why we will take the lead in cracking down on extremism and hate speech and reduce the risk of incidents by denying tickets to those with such ideas. This is not about not allowing free speech but protecting others from these types of people. Football matches should be a friendly , welcoming and inviting atmosphere and we will play our role in ensuring that remains the case."

OGO will deny Strathae Ticket Authorisation bots access to Ogobook
OGO has reassured users that what they say on their Ogobook page will remain safe from the Strathae Ticket Pre-authorisation check bots. They said in a statement "Any messages and posts set to share with friends can only be viewed by friends on our social media network Ogobook and we do not allow bots on the site except for our own to check posts match community standards. 3rd party bots can only access information that is relevent to the function of the app the bot is for on Ogobook. We reassure users that as long as their name does not appear on web articles or public news articles they will be safe to say what they think within reason on Ogobook as long as it meets our community guidelines of not being harrassing or threatening violence then posts are uncensored on our free speech platform , we do not censor unecessarily."

The social media giant that is the biggest social media network in Strathae is known for its privacy from 3rd party bots and free speech policy. It also said information can only be shared with appropiate court warrants and only law enforcement agencies may seek them for private information.

Strathae announces €14.1 Billion reparations to Christians for anti-catholic and christian hate

The government of Strathae has announced today it is going to give 10 billion Copars (€14.1 Billion )in reparations to Christians in reparations including 30,000 Copar (€42,300) compensation package to every Christian living in Strathae to apologise for the anti-blairite hate. She said "Its critical we don't just say sorry but act to make things right we believe this is a just and appropiate measure." She has said it will go to all Catholics and christians whether they want it or not and will be deposited into their Strathaen bank account thats used by tax agencies and welfare agencies to deposit welfare payments and take payments for access to the health service. When asked about what Catholics can do when they don't want the money she said "They have to have it by law , it's illegal to return it, if they want to donate it to charity then they may do so but they have to accept it into their bank acount." The package is espected to cost 5.1 Billion Copars (€7.191 Billion). The government have announced the difference between this and the €14.1 Billion of €7.4 Billion with be given to the Catholic , Lutheran and Inquistan Orthodox Church's with €4 Billion to the catholic Church and Lutheran and Inquistan Orthodox Churches getting €1.4 Billion each and other denominations getting a share of €200,000,000. When asked what will happen if the Churches refuse the money the government said "They cannot as we will use the publically available donation details to deposit the money and they cannot refuse." The government said "We hope this and all the other measures and actions taken to protect Catholics are enough to make them feel safe and welcome in Strathate."

Strathae government requests bank details from governments of any citizens in their countries who lived in Strathae for more than 6 months over the last 20 years
The government of Strathae have put in requests with all governments for the sort codes and bank account numbers of any Christian citizens who have lived in Strathae for more than 6 months in the 20 years in Strathae. The government have committed to giving 42,300 Euros to each Christian who has been in Strathae under the Blairite government.

The requests have been sent out to all governments including the Spanish , Duxburian ,Duchian, Reitzmag , Vatican , Czech government and UK governments among others. The government has requested the information but has suggested it may sue the governments if they do not provide the information so they can distribute the reparations money. The move has been designed to improve Strathaes image abroad.

New Strathae Laws protect worshippers at Church and Temples
New Strathae laws reviewed and put on hold from the old government have passed today to protect religious worshippers while attending temple from harassment. The new laws protect anywhere outside the entrance of a religious building or car parks to them from protests with protests being made illegal outside temples and churches though its acknowledged by experts the law is targeted to protect Catholic and Orthodox churches where most protests by Blairites take place. The law also sets exclusion zones on any street where a door to a religious temple or church is present.The government have said in a statement "We believe in the right to protest but this must be balanced to protect against harassment of innocent worshippers going to worship at their temple and church and to prevent harassment of worshippers. We believe we have achieved this balance."

Blairites arrested for protesting outside a Catholic and Orthodox Churches
Today Blairite protesters who were conducting a "Kick out Bigotry" protest were arrested for protesting outside of the entrances and side roads on the side of two churches one the main Catholic Church in Dungael and and the main Inquistan Orthodox in Dungael. The problems started as police were called by some local Strathaens who reported they were protesting and harassing people visiting the churches. The police were called and asked them to move on but they refused instead chaining themselves to the door.

The police then used appropiate force to remove the protesters arresting all the Blairite protesters. They are being charged with "illegal gathering harming public order" and "harassment of worshippers entering a religious building". The 30 arrested if found guilty face up to 3 years in jail. 78 have been arrested since the law has come in force with the government saying in a statement "We will not stand for harassment of worshippers and priests and innappropiate gatherings outside of churches that harm public order. We will crack down on Blairites who think they are above the law and ignore the rights of religious minorities to worship in peace and safety."

Gael Games 2022 in final ticket sales

The final ticket sales are occurring for the Gael Games 2022 in the MacMhaoilein Clan Council area. The games organised by the Cumann Spóirt Uile an tSratha or Strathae All Sports Association in English features the tradition sports such as Caber Tossing, Wife and Husband Carrying , The Stone Put , Hammer Throwing, Weight Throwing, Weight over the bar, Sheaf toss, The Gaels Dancing Competition and the Herding Trials Finals. The games will feature 103 Gold , Silver and Copper medals. 1 representative or pair in each competition for each clan will be present. The Games will feature 3,520 people including the Youth categories. The games are highlight of Strathaen Clan Culture and are expected to have over 1,000,000 people including tourists over 3 days this year. The event is expected to be one of the most watched TV events. The games will also feature a wide variety of culture including dance events ad concerts in the evening. The organisers have said "We wish all contestents and visitors to the games a happy Gael Games and to have most importantly fun and to enjoy the atmosphere of the games."

Blairites register new party

Blairites who have been kicked out of the PoT in the Blairite purge today announced they would be forming a new party to participate in elections going forward on the Blairite side. The new parties name has been announced as "Caomhnóirí" or Guardian. The Blairite leaders said in a statement "We chose Caomhnóirí to reflect our goals and aims to restore and protect true Strathaen values and culture. We will protect the country from the assualt of its values of acceptance and freedom for all that is under assault from the bigoted theocrats of the Catholic Church, Christians and Inquistan and other Orthodox Churches. We will protect our values of LGBTQIA friendliness and equality for all regardless of gender , sexuality or sex. We will fight this pandering to the intolerant Catholic bigots and the treachery of our main parties who have sold out our culture to our Catholic enemies." The party vows to fight hard to restore "traditional values ".

The parties formation has been condemned by all three parties who have all released statements calling then "unstrathaen" and "bigoted". The parties have vowed to never form a government with the new party and it is understood the new party is under monitoring from the state given the past actions and background of its members.

Government to innitiate review into anthems lyrics using the word foreigner
Strathaes government is said to be innitiating a review into the anthem again to potentially remove the word foreigner from the anthem and come up with alternative lyrics after 2 immgrants complained about the lyrics to the government. They are planning a survey of the expats of all nations living in Strathae to see how offended they are by the lyrics.

The lyrics refer to the greatest warrior in the fight for the freedom of the nation being sold to foreign invaders and gaining freedom by escaping and leading armies against them. It is not meant as a slight against all foreigners but there are concerns it could be seen as such based on the 2 complaints so far.

The survey will be conducted over 3 months with panels , a vote and in person meetings between Strathaen historians and expat communities. The consultation is hoping to establish if there is great offense took at the words in the anthem or not and whether a change is indeed needed. The acting leader of Caomhnóir said "Once again the government party that supposedly exists to protect our culture and traditions is trashing it to try to appease some foreigners who have lived here a very short amount of time and probably don't care. The fact two complaints prompted this show how overblown a response it is and quite frankly if anyone does not like our anthem couldn't they accept it or piss off out of the country" . The PoT leader condemned the party and its statement as "Bigotry from known hatemongers , to tell people if they don't like the anthem to accept it or piss off out the country is pure bigotry and racism. It may be why they are hated among virtuall all non-Blairites and immigrants. We will stand with the immigrant communities and if they express discomfort we will listen , just because they did not vote for us doesn't mean we should not listen to them.

Strathae government buys billboards and ads throughout Europe asking Christians to claim compensation from fund

The Strathae government launched their Europe wide campaign focused on nations with the highest numbers of Christian expats who have come to Strathae to work or live and study to get them to claim compensation funds of €42,300 that may be due to them for persecution during the Blairite years. The government ad campaign is to be focused on public transports , billboards at key transport centres and key leisure spots as well as adverts on bus stops and at train stations. The ad will have the slogan Sorry for Blair package as the logo with the line "Christian? Been inStrathae more than 6 months in last 20 years? APPLY NOW for your 42,300 Euros in compensation." . This is the first step in a campaign to get those who have missed out due to bank accounts and addresses changing since last contact with the Strathae government.

The government said in a statement "Still too many Christians persacuted under Blair haven't got their rightful compensation we have put in a fund for them to claim. We therefore have took the step to have adverts in key places to get their attention to claim what is rightfully theirs and not miss out. We will not cease advertisements until we are sure that everyone who is owed money has received their compensation for that dark time in our recent history." The adverts will all be in the local langauges.

Preparations for Strathae Catholic and Orthodox Remembrance of Blairite Cultural Genocide Apology Ceremony almost complete
The preparations for the apology ceremony to Catholic and Orthodox Church are almost finished. The government have invited the heads of all heads of the churches in Strathae have been invited including all Orthodox branches and the head of the Catholic Church in Strathae. The ceremonies title has been unveiled as Remembrance of Blairite Cultural Genocide Apology Ceremony and will list the name of high profile victims who were persecuted under the Blairite reign with a monument to all those who were persecuted being unveiled. A letter of apology to each head of church will be read for what the government is now terming a "cultural genocide comitted against christians and Catholic and orthodox in particular." The government plan to officially declare the period a cultural genocide in a mark of respect for the churches. They hope this will help the world move on from the dark period of Strathaes history.

Government to change law to make Denial of Strathaen Christian Genocide a crime
Today the government announced they will introduce a bill to make Denial of Strathaen Christian Genocide a crime punishable by at least 10 years in jail. The bill follows the official recognition by government and Blairite parties and supporters attempts to deny the Strathaen actions were genocide. The act will make it illegal to openly state that the actions do not count as a genocide as well as even question it even in academic papers or in media with media who question it to be banned from publishing and anyone signing off on the articles to be jailed for at least 10 years in jail . The bill is designed to prevent the spread of hate and undermining of Catholics by people claiming they did not face cultural genocide. The move will lead to the new Blairite Party and media developing having to be very careful to avoid any potential ban in the future and their political leaders jail time.

Op-Ed:Thank you Strathae Government but we don't need any more protection
I would like to say as the head of the Catholic Church I am genuinely thankful for the protections provided by the state.I know the state disagrees with our church on many stances especially on social issues and thats okay in a democracy. We remember the days of the Blairite government and it was not good we were harassed on the way to church, often at home and outside of our churches. Every day was a worry over whether we'd get doxed or not and we now know thats not going to happen so genuinely thank you but I would like to say please stop now , you've a appologised , you've compensated us and you have made strides to protect us , that is enough you are forgiven by our flock here in Strathae.

What I want to say now is you have done enough so please stop. We were not subject to genocide not in the sense of the word that is the academic definition. Were we oppressed Yes but that is not genocide and using genocide to describe it and looking at prosecuting those who question it is concerning to me and the Church. We believe in freedom of speech ,we believe in Blairites freedom too as much as they can be a pain . In fact I am highly concerned we risk removing all progress long term by opressing Blairites too far.

I call on the government to move on stop talking about the period in fact after the ceremony on Sunday please just move on us Catholics don't want to discuss it , we don't want constant reminders we jut literally want to move on and not be the focus of the current debate, heck we didn't even ask for the anthem change as it's clearly a reference to opressors many years ago not a moderate Catholic today. Please move on and move forward so we can all unite and work together as different faiths to a better future for Strathae. Strathae does not need to beat itself up over the past and does not need to treat us with special kid gloves , us Catholics can defend ourselves.

Strathae looks at leaving EU over free speech absolutism
The Strathae government have announced it is looking to leave the EU potentially over "free speech absolutism" . The government fear that a lawsuit could come in over the upcoming law against "Denial of Strathaen Christian Genocide" which would criminalise speech that denies or questions the Strathaen Christian Genocide which the government now considers a Cultural Genocide against Christians specifically the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. The law would punish offenders who deny or question it with 10 years in prison if found guilty if it passes in the proposed form.

It is also understood it is concerned that the national sport leagues ban of the old national anthem on the basis it is a "hate chant and song" might fall foul of the EU laws on free speech in the court case. The government said in a statement "We consider the abolutism and extremism of Eurocrats on free speech who seem to think free speech means a carte blanche to harrass , terrorise and insult Catholics and Orthodox in our country is dangerous to our country and dangerous to minorities. EU laws interpretations are getting in the way of use protecting our minorities and Catholics and Orthdox from Blairite extremism and hate. We do not see any way other than leaving unless the EU revises its stance on the absolutism of freedom and speech from this dangerous stance it has that essentially allows free reign on harassing and intimidating minorities including Catholics and Orthodox in Strathae. We as a government and as a people want to fix issues and protect our minorities but the EU is frankly becoming an obstacle in this process.The EU court as it stands is an enabler of hate against minorities and should be disgusted with itself for failing to protect minorities and Catholics and Orthodox and frankly siding with bigots who wish only to harass minorities and discriminate against religious minorities."The government have said the plan will depend on the outcome of the existing case in the European Court of Justice.

Gael Games Tickets sold out

The Gael Games 2022 tickets have all officially sold out as the last rush for tickets took place. 1,105,000 tickets were sold for the 3 day event beginning on the 3rd of June and continuing to the 5th June. The 3,520 athletes are almost ready with the tent city for the athletes finished with 3,520 luxury yurts put up on site for the athletes grouped in "clan villages" as they always are. Tickets on coaches to the area are also almost sold out. The games are expected to be especially competitive this year with the MacMhaoilein , MacCùga, MacLuinge and Druimeineach clans having shown notable performances in local qualifiers for the games held by the clans themselves. This is the first year in 15 years the odds at the bookies have shown a clan other than the big 10 being the most likely to win the games medal counts.

We have seen the site and done our inspections and the site is wonderfully organised for the festivities. The event will begin on the 3rd with a parade of the clan tartans and flags into the venue from Doonsheane to the games grounds. We look forward to greeting the over 1 million visitors to the games both Strathaen and overseas visitors alike and can promise they will have a fantastic time with great hospitality." The last week of Shinty Games is also being played with the last games being played on the weekend of the 4th and 5th with multiple Clans in with a chance of winning the Shinty Premier League.

Críochnaigh Bigotry refounded as anti-blairite organisation
Críochnaigh Bigotry or Exit Bigotry has been refounded by anti-blairites as a charity focused on preventing hate and helping people leave the "Blairite extremism". The previous iteration was founded as a Blairite organisation that claimed "To fight catholic extremism" though its critics accused it of just being an anti-catholic hate group.

The group has officially been registered and is taking in donations as well as organising in all countries where there is a major Strathaen expat community to help fight anti-blairite hate abroad and lobby foreign governments and raise awareness among public in those countries about the importance of fighting Blairite Anti-catholic and Orthodox hate and Blairite extremism. They plan to protest Blairite groups and work to reveal those who are harbingers of hate as well as help whistleblowers release information , they also plan to offer deradicalization programmes and help people exit Blairite circles.

On beginning of Pride Month Strathae government release message

The Strathae government released a video of the cabinet and governing party with other parties in the country all coming together to celebrate pride and have announced all embassies will have the Pride flag fly for a month over all Strathae government buildings and embasses. The Video focused on the equality of love and the message that there is not difference between straight and gay arguing the that gay people do not exist.

The government said in a public statement "There is no such thing as a gay, bisexual or a straight person only lovers. There is no such thing as a transgender person only male , female or non-binary. We will continue to spread the message we are all one and these is no difference between two men or women loving each other or mixed gender couples and there is no difference between those who were mistaken as male or female at birth and have finally had their true gender recognised and those who were correctly identified as the gender they are. We wish happy Pride to all and hope one day we an get over the times where a day such as Pride has to exist due to Bigots hate and the need to remember bigots actions and attitudes against LGBT and instead we just recognise humans are humans in all their weird and wonderful diversity." The statement was also signed by all the main three parties and all the International and national Breizhighist religious leaders.

Strathae Government announces new Christian Genocide Memorial Day

Strathaes government has announced there will be a new annual day announced on the calendar to "recognise the crimes of Strathae against Christians under the PoT and the effort to wipe out Christianity by means of cultural genocide". The government said the day would consist of annual apology ceremonies and also a read out annually of the local victims in each town. Embassies will also annually hold memorial services in them in every country they operate in. The government plan to invite the most senior church officials to a national service of memorial annually and also local and regional leaders to their respective regions services. Each clan government will be mandated to do a service by law in an upcoming law.

The plan has drew sharp criticism from some historians who suggest before it becomes illegal to do so that it wasn't a genocide. It has also predictably drawn protest and criticism from the Blairites and Blairite factions but also surprisingly the Strathae Catholic Church who said in a statement "I don't think Strathae will get anywhere by beating itself up annually over the mistreatment of the church by one government and considering what was essentially mild mistreatment as a full on cultural genocide devaluing the meaning of the word for those who have suffered real persacution and genocide." The government criticised the Catholic Church for "failing to support its parishioners and recognise the harm they went through for what it is a cultural genocide " and warned officials to "be careful not to deny the genocide after the law passes as it will apply much to Catholic officials as it does to anyone else" warning the church to stay silent on the matter unless its supporting the government declaration of the event as a cultural genocide.The announcement comes just over a weekk after the apology ceremony with all churches national officials in attendance on Sunday the 29th May 2022 which would be the official remembrance day.
