Message from the Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová following her election
People of Europe, brothers and sisters, friends, allow me to express my thanks to you. Thanks to your valiant effort the European Union finally got a Commission that will stand up for the masses, for equality and for the sovereignty of nations. Despite the predictions of our defeat we have persisted and we have won overwhelmingly. From the time we first campaigned we have build a firm United Front that proved to withstand any attack and that shall not shatter as long as there is a fire of revolt in our hearts.
Our Union is still gripped with many problems instability, natural catastrophes, unemployment, risk of armed conflict. In the coming days the creation of European Development Agency will be proposed, which will be able to provide member states the subsidies in case they have need for them and which will focus on fighting these problems. Any steps taken to re-conciliate with the Union of Nicoleizian Socialist Republics can also expect to be sponsored by the Office of Premier Commissioner. On the other hand, people of Europe can rest assured that as a Premier Commissioner I won't support any attempt to dictate the adoption of sanctions to the member states. The Commission shall not violate the free trade among the member states, instead it shall support them in their development.
I ask you, the people, to remain united. For when we united we achieved what was deemed impossible and if we remain united no task will be too big to overcome. A just Europe lies ahead. Advance forward, not one step back!

Statement from the Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová regarding the internal conflict in Reuland
People of Europe, as internal conflict has erupted in Reuland it has forever violently seized many children from their parent and many other children were made into orphans. It is my sincere hope that the involved parties will end the hostilities and resolve their disagreements through dialogue to so that the people in the region may live in peace and that no parent will again have to bury their children as a causality of an armed conflict.
I also call to any outside actors to refrain from conducting military operations in the region without prior consultation with the rest of the European Community and to immediately cease any ongoing military operations in the region that were not consulted with the rest of the European Community.
The European Commission is prepared to act as a mediator between the parties involved in the conflict, if requested.

Statement from the Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová regarding the situation in the Strait of Adventuranza
People of Europe, recent developments in the disputed territory of the Strait of Adventuranza are a cause for a great concern over Europe as a number of warships entered the territory raising uncertainty and endangering the safety of the ships passing through the strait.
There is a motion in the European Council calling for a creation of international zone in the region until an agreement is reached by the two parties. I regard the creation of such zone by the European Union as a measure that should be used in only the most dire of situations, but if the disputing parties continue with escalating the dispute and do not take the necessary steps towards a deescalation the situation might indeed get to a point in which a creation of such zone would be the only way to ensure the safety of vessels passing through the strait and maintain peace.
For this reason I join the Internal Affairs Commissioner-elect Joseph Biden in calling for the deescalation of the dispute by the involved actors. I call upon the actors that have their warships located in the Strait of Adventuranza to reach an agreement to demilitarize the region, so that there is no more warships in the strait than what is needed to protect the passing ships without causing concern for safety to the other party. Do not let the situation escalate to the point where other actors, such as the European Union, will be forced to directly intervene to guarantee safety.
Regardless of the differing aims and interests of the involved parties, peace and safety must be a common aim of us all.

Message from the Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová following her re-election
People of Europe, I thank you from the bottom of my hear for the trust you have once again put in me. We have managed to remain united and didn't allow anybody to divide us and as a result we have once again overcome all the difficulties and ensured that the power in the European Union will remain in the hands of the working people. Just like the last time there were media predicting our defeat and the old elites were getting ready for their return to power. But together we have smashed the fortress of the hopeless and the dreams of the old elite, the nightmares for the working people, will remain only in their heads.
I also congratulate the newly elected Foreign Affairs Commissioner Pekka Haavisto and the Internal Affairs Commissioner Joseph Biden. I trust that there will be a high level of co-operation between us so that this Commission will be an effective one. Commissioner Biden has already demonstrated his ability and willingness to work for the Union when as only a Commissioner-elect he delivered a great speech regarding the current situation in the Strait of Adventuranza. I am also sending my thanks to the Party of the European Left Internal Affairs candidate in the latest election, Ilmaras Kalessed, for her work and dedication and I am hoping that we will also be able to work together on my team.
Many problems still remain in our Union that require the attention of the Commission. It is my main aim to make sure that our Union functions in the correct manner. That peace and co-operation are maintained and development is assisted from the Union in a case of need, that no sanctions are dictated to the member states and that the basic rights of the working people are guaranteed.
People of Europe it was once again proven that when we are united in words and deeds there is no greater force anywhere beneath the sun and all our aspiration can and will be fulfilled. I ask you to remain vigilant and chase away all that try to divide you. Forward, towards brighter tomorrows!

Farewell address by the Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová
Dearest friends, brothers and sisters, Europeans, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you have given me during my two terms as the Premier Commissioner. Eight months ago I was elected for the first time, as a loyal pupil of the Architect of Socialism, the President for Life of my home country, with the goal to build foundations for a different, more just Europe and I am happy to say much has been achieved in this regard. The European Development Agency was established, a new budget was passed, legislation ensuring basic rights of the workers was adopted, sovereignty of all nations was finally respected, contributing to peaceful conclusions of conflicts. But the changes we accomplished couldn't have never been done without your support.
I would like to use this opportunity to wish the new Commissioners good luck in performing their duties. I hope that they will recognize the importance of the laid foundations, and that they won't attempt to uproot them, but will instead continue building upon them for the benefit of the people. My thanks as always goes to those who keep their interest in the European affairs and went to vote, if they had the opportunity to do so.
For the future Commissioners, I hope they realize that much thought will have to be given to future budget, past experiences have shown us that perhaps the time is right to increase the spending, provided it is wisely used. Despite the fact that the corporate Councillors have attempted to sabotage possible changes to the future budgets by lowering the member states contributions during my term I urge all the future Commissioners to be bold in fulfilling their duties, not back down to pressure and carefully consider the future of Europe when drawing up a new budget.
As I said earlier I don't intend to run for a position within a Commission in the future, I believe that new people deserve the opportunity to continue working towards a just Europe upon the foundations we have laid. I am looking forward to meeting with you and listening to you, as I have done during my campaigns, but this time not as a candidate, not as a Premier Commissioner, but as your friend.
Despite the end of my second term we must strive maintain the incredible unity you have shown during the last eight months, because the fight continues.
Yours Sofie Čikarová :-)
