      Piane's Acceptance Speech

Thank you so much, Europe ! We will begin the work right now for justice, freedom, and peace.

There are a lot of problems in the EU right now, my heart goes out to the people in Nofoaga, Copala City, and Gadalland who are going through extremely difficult periods - and I will be visiting Nofoaga in the coming weeks to make sure the weight of the Commission will be put behind the people of Nofoaga and their recovery.

As IAC, I recognise that the mess I have inherited won't be fixed overnight, but I can certainly try to begin the structural reform necessary to kickstart our Union once more.

Premier Commissioner Sofie Čikarová and I will be proposing several items of our agenda over the next 4 months. These include but are certainly not limited to : a European development agency (name as yet undecided) using using expenditure found from wasteful projects and voluntary investment, a new budget for 2021/2022, incorporating this new agency, and a reconciliation effort with the UNSR. This is just a start. We will continue to move to work for you, Europe.

Peace and justice comrades, let's advance, together !
