Duchies-Hellas Summit
The Prime minister John Peter Key fresh from elections had a brief increase connections especially with important nations and also to increase transport options for passengers and goods. Todays visitor would be important. Trade with Hellas had long been important to Duchies being aa neighbour and it was long an important route out of the Duchies towards the Mediterranean. He knew movement was important but first he would meet the Hellas PM at the Cair Para Edward International Airport.He arrived at the Cair Para Edward International Airport. He looked forward to his visitor arriving , but before politics got discussed they'd meet Nikolai III first after going from the Cair Para Edward International Airport before doing their meeting and having a state dinner. Hopefully the grandeur of Cair Paravel would impress and do its diplomatic job once again.

Alexandros Panagiotopoulos Prime Minister of Hellas was traveling to Meet the PM of the United Duchies neighbors of Hellas but Alexandros was nervous, not only because this would be his first state visit as PM after the Kingdom finally took the step and joined the European union after much debate in parliament but also because this was his first time out of his country, Even though he came from a very prestigeous and wealthy family they never traveled out of the country because his parents always had something to do and they could not go far from their responsabilities, and his vacations although frequent and luxurious were always inside Hellas, He was already acustumed to the sights of Athens, of Makedonia, of Sparta, He had even grown tired of the numerous visits to the Pythia his parents had always dragged him to as he would be the heir to their fortune, But now that had changed, as prime minister his duty was to make his nation better, be it locally or going abroad, He already knew about the Majestic palace of Cair Paravel, it was one of his favorites when he started looking about the world on the internet And He was about to see it all in person.
Time had passed quickly while Alexandros day dreamed and when he least expected it his plane had arrived to the Airport/Train Station of Cair Para he was ready for the meeting, for the sights and for everything the United Duchies had prepared for his arrival. -
John Peter Key and his Foreign minister Arron Scott saw the arrival of the plane of Hellas. The plane landed and came into the gate nearest the exit with the X-On V7 convoy. The prime minister greeted Alexandros "Welcome , we've been awaiting your arrival as has his majesty Nikolai. Looking forward to very positive results from our meeting." The foreign minister engaged the rest of the party. They went in the convoy to the palace past the main catholic and and lutheran cathedrals centres of their respective faiths in the country. They arrived to the grand palace of Cair Paravel.
They went for an afternoon tea with High Duke Nikolai III who greeted the Prime Minister of Hellias. He was still sort of new to greeting big leaders being so young a head of state. He had however took well to the pressure involved. He greeted the Prime Minister " Welcome to the Duchies Prime Minister Alexandros Panagiotopoulos. I'm High Duke Nikolai III , though to be honest I prefer to be more informal so you can call me Nikolai, I find it better that way, after all we are all just humans when it comes down to it, its only our jobs and responsibilities that are different really. How have you found the view of the palace on the way up?" .

"Oh well, Thank you Nikolai, everything has been splendid so far, i must admit it was a little dream of mine to visit Cair Paravel since i was a child and now i have the oportunity to visit from the inside!
Let me tell you, it has not dissapointed, id say it could even rival The Parthenon of Athens or The Sanctuary of Delphi itself! It is truly a wonder.
Now, before i completly forget my modals, You can just call me Alexandros too, oh and by the way is there anything else we shall disscuss? -
Nikolai said "Plan is to have some afternoon tea for now. John Peter Key can discuss his government proposals afterwards as I really can't get involved in politics for any particular coalition in government. I'm totally independent." They chatted away over the afternoon tea with a variety of cakes including millionaires shortbread and shortcake and a variety of frosted cakes with teas of various types. Nikolai chatted away about life and family to ease the guests in. He asked Alexandros "So what do you get up to outside of your political time?"
Nikolai bid his farewell for now until dinner and left the politicians in the government meeting rooms to discuss the political stuff. PM Key started "I hope you enjoyed afternoon tea with Nikolai he really is a good guy and great High Duke. Crazy how humble he is with his position to be honest. The first thing I would like to discuss is trade and goods movement as well as free movement. I want to propose a proposal that could help both our nations. I was thinking we could start a joint cargo rail company to transport goods from the Baltia Port and Porterdam Ports to your nation and possibly through to Inquista. As you know there are significant taxes that are raising prices through the straits in Gibraltar at the moment, we believe this new rail link could help companies benefit from a cheaper route then transfer to shipping lines in your country benefitting them with goods transfers through rail between our shipping companies and yours. Basically linking up our ports, it could also benefit the domestic companies by having an international rail cargo link between our countries further boosting our trade. We'd also like to remove all tariffs to benefit both our businesses too and have free movement of goods and citizens for tourism zone between California, Spain , Inquista and us with us fortifying the external borders we think this could benefit all our nations by essentially creating a common market and movement zone which would make sense given our proximity to each other. We are discussing this proposal with Spain and California also but wonder whether you'd back it?"

"Oh i get it, dont worry i meant that if you had anything to add about your country, it really has such beautiful sights but lets keep going shall we?. ...... "Ah, well, i love to travel and visit the most beautiful views i know of but as you may know being in such high rank dosent allow me to leave the country just like that so i have been travelling around Hellas a lot.
After the tea: " Yeah it was amazing talking with him but now addressing your proposals, I do think it would be wise to create a trade rail line that countected our countries and maybe we could create a line that connected your ports with ours in Alexandria and Piraeus, But it will have to be debated throughly in the parliament as it could prove to be a easy way to evade the taxes imposed by Spain and although we do not agree with them we also dont want to antagonize Spain as they have been a valuable trade partner. To answer your second proposal i do think we can agree to that as long as Spain and California agree to it too, Linking Spain, Hellas, UD and California would make a strong touristic and economic bloc.

John Peter Key responded " Thank you I am glad you agree on a cargo rail link. In fact I think it would be a good idea to have a segregated line so it can operate most efficiently with a link to Baltia Port too. I am also glad you like the idea of the bloc for a free movement zone and others have expressed interest providing all agree. Moving on we at the moment have tariffs and trade is still strong between us but I think we could benefit both our countries by eliminating tariffs entirely and encouraging trade and investment. I 'd also like to have scheme for businesses in both countries to collaborate between them and the universities in our countries on research and help universities commercialise their scientific discoveries and research. "
