Sharma Dixit was going about her daily business with her family. She was not a well known figure yet but had been climbing the ranks in campaigning organisations opposed to the government. She needed dealing with before her or her family got too loud. Aankhen or The Eyes had reported on her location just 7 days before planned protests to protest the EU allowing the nation join the EU. The actions against human rights activists was ramping up. The Haath or The Hand got into action. It was 12'o'clock they stormed into the house of this Log Gandagee or people of the dirt family, first they secured the children Veer 6, Sooraj 10 , Daya 12,Annand 14 and Arjuna 16 who then proceeded to try to save his brothers and sisters and sent a text out to family to warn them they needed to leave for safety.

Unforunately the Haath agents were ruthless they immediately seized him just as he tried to uncuff his brother , took him to the front room bringing the brothers and sisters and mother , they called for the husband who was was attempting to run for help they didn't quite have the numbers but shouted to him in Hindi "Hey come here now Har , for your families sake . " He didn't but they decided on a more direct approach seizing the mums phone they took the phone put it on video mode still hold Arjuna and slit his stomach while alive and said "You want the rest to go this way. like the dirt they are" They didn't care these weren't people they were dirt , just some cheap labourers put on earth to serve the real humans. They were lucky to get what they got. The father saw the video and looked on in horror and said "No please end it," The Haath said "Come back and you can put a bullet in his head, you can end it." Defeated he came back within 6 minutes and pulled the trigger on the bullet Arjuna was no more , then they bagged his body to go to the furnaces and cleaned up , Arjuna never would have existed according to records with his ashes just put in the landfill like the dirt he was to them and soon this family wouldn't either.

30th August:
The Dixit family arrived and were processed at the Daanav Ghaatee or Demons Valley prison facitiliy 100 buried sea containers reinforced and designed specifically to draw heat into the sea containers. Their valuables were took as they entered and were processed into the facility after all in less than 3 days they wouldn't need them as they'd succumb to either heat exhaustion or dehydration , they didn't have much time left. They were stripped, beaten then put into the sea container and locked already the temperature was 50 degrees Celsius , inside it and tomorrow as predicted to be a much hotter day in fact no matter how cold it got outside it would would be hot as they put the heaters in to keep it at least 50 degree celsius . They were left the sound was deafening in the camp sound of the screams of many of the new arrivals. And now the Dixits joined them crying, begging for their lives while the guards laughed . They had had anything that could end the ordeal sooner took just them naked in the sea container next to the bodies of the previous unlucky occupants. Daya was first to go after 2.5 hours of overheating in the heat soon after the mum Sharma went , well at least they'd not have to deal with her again , Har watched on in horror hugging Veer, Sooraj and Anand. Sooraj was the next to go with his last words being "Love you dad" and Veer was just silent and crying while Anand screamed in pain until he was no more , just Veer and Har left in the heat before he did the unthinkable 4 hours in knowing suffering would only go on he put his hands around Veers neck and strangled him until death at least he suffered no more. About 1 hour later finally Har died. His body had fought hard but no more was he alive after the sea container heated up to 60 degrees Celsius. The silence was noted at control and by the patrols the message was sent " The rats are dead, now lets get the next trash ready.." The bodies lay their for a week this week would be particuarly brutal they had 300 to process at this main facility to stop them attending the protests in Europolis and put others off. Sure enough the tactic mostly worked most didn't attend.

Meanwhile Shruti Bhagat and her family of 5 and Sunder Dixit and his family of 7 fled the country by boat. The raft crossinging to Duchies. Unfortunately only 3 made it of Sunders family and sadly not his wife and 2 of Shrutis her and 1 child. By September the third Shruti 41 and her son Daksha 13 went to the Reitzmag authorities and requested urgen asylum while Sunder 45 and his 2 surviving children Din 14 and Rati 11 applied for the asylum in the Duchies. However they couldn't mention the deaths of their family in public since a:the state would call them liars and destroy evidence of their existence including online and b:they had other family who surely would be taken. It was horrible times for them.

HM Embassy to the United Duchies, Cair Para

Ambassador Yeon Doo Jeong had just finished his first cup of coffee for the day, having gone through various paperwork as the chief of the Reitzmic Diplomatic Mission to the UD. He had met quite a lot of people, including Duchian politicians, businessmen, and scientific experts. But just then, the phone in his office rang to which he took and answered.

"Sir, a Svarnan named Shruti Bhagat would like to speak with you. Should I let them in?" the reception office opened.

"Yes please, let them to my office." Amb. Yeon replied.

Shruti and Daksha were escorted to the Ambassador's office where they met Amb. Yeon. There, the two opened up about their case and a request for asylum. Doo Jeong knew this was an important matter, after having heard about their role in the Svarnan Opposition, and needed to consult with higher authorities before giving a go-signal. But in the meantime, he allowed the family to stay in the embassy while waiting for the decision from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the meeting, he immediately wrote a letter and talked to Foreign Minister Chung about the matter. Chung, knowing his limitations as a simple cabinet minister had to consult the Prime Minister on the best course of action, he knew that one mistake could have catastrophic events to the newly EU-ascended nation. Due to the amount of work that had to be done, the family had to stay in the embassy for 3 days before finally receiving a definitive response to their response. Ambassador Yeon, delivered them the news.

"Mr. Bhagat, I'd like to inform you that your request for political asylum was approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of State Borders. We will be arranging a flight for you and your family to Reitzmag, as well as provide basic necessities for you to start life once again in our country. The details of all procedures to ensure your safe entry and stay in our country will be provided to you later. I wish you all the best." Ambassador Yeon said on their meeting.

Doo Jeong shook hands with Shruti and walked them to the door talking about additional details of what happened and how they got to the United Duchies.

Black House, Hampton City
The situation with the Bhagat family had been turned into a 2nd class issue to be addressed, giving it more priority and effort than other issues. And this was just in time for another Cabinet Meeting.

Simon, and the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, State Borders, Social Welfare and Development, and Defence all gathered before the Cabinet meeting to discuss what to do with the Bhagat Family.

"Mr. Prime Minister, I have some fear and skepticism on what the Bhagat family may cause to our country. They might drag us into an unnecessary war, or incite chaos and violence just to build up their opposition force to strike back to Svarna Surya." said Minister Wallace.

"We all know this family has an important role in their country based on the information they provided to the embassy in the United Duchies and from intelligence gathered by the NIS, who also verified these information. Do you seriously want us to just abandon them and let them suffer in their country Minister Wallace?" replied Social Welfare and Development Minister Collins.

"That's not what I'm saying, I'm simply concerned about our own national security and how it is possibly at risk because we're keeping them here in Reitzmag. Yes, the NIS may have given a highly detailed report on information about this family, but we don't know their true intentions of coming here. And why among all nations do they have to choose this goddamn country." answered Ben.

"I think we're pretty secure as far as our country is concerned, we have regular Coastguard patrols in the Caspian and a very active armed force ready to respond whenever necessary. Our police is also still on high alert due to the attacks we had from universities as far as I have checked from the latest information. My main concern pretty much is the effect our action would have on their country, and to their people. And of course we know this is what could have socio-economic consequences for Reitzmag." said Foreign Minister Chung trying to cut the arguments between Ben and Andrea.

"I agree with Minister Chung, we need to consider the after effects of a possible revolution or conflict there. And while we have the Bhagat Family in our hands, we have some degree of control on how the events in Svarna Surya will unfold." adds State Borders Minister Noh.

Eventually, the discussion is cut by the arrival of the other cabinet members ready for the meeting.

Removing the weeds
The intelligence services the Kaan had been monitoring the opposition chats through a secure app they had invented with a backdoor for them. It was amazing how open people were when they felt they weren't being watched. They enjoyed the feeling of the opposition in the activist groups incriminating themselves but then a state of shock occured as they suddenly saw conversations in the apps between activists and Anil Devi-Bhatavadekar son of Manaara Devi-Bhatavadekar the sister of Neha. They were shocked , the agents set up the chat and started planning a protest with the boy to confirm it was him. They then arranged to meet to transfer evidence. Little did Anil know what trouble he was in. The evidence was there now and they knew something needed doing. The secret phone had not helped him here, he had made one mistake too many.

The reports went to the Eye who watched his comings and goings. The Eye discussed what to do do they seize him themselves or do they work with the president . They alerted the president who also talked to Manaara. It was decided the family should deal with the issue , the plot emerged Jannat would take the boy to a park after picking him up from his mother, she'd take him to a remote part of the park preagreed, then Sunita and Parineeti would hold him down while Ashnoor tied and gagged him to keep him silent to put him in the back of the van.The plan went well suspecting nothing he excitedly looked forward to his walk. They walked a little while chatting with small talk before activating the plot fully. They turned to Anil sinisterly "You know its nice having these chats, I'm gonna miss these when you are gone. But then again maybe you shouldn't betray your family." He didn't quite process until they were holding him down and tying him up

He was hauled into the van desperate begging his family. The van took him to a cabin in the woods secured with a grave already dug outside ready to receive him. He was about to go through the worst and last experience of his life. The van drove to the cabin , there was President Neha and Rahul her own son to take him out and with Rahul mocking him and spitting on him though he was reluctant to do so he didn't want to look like he cared to his mother, fear had took over Rahuls mind . Neha gave him a hug and said "Such a shame, you had so much potential. You could have gone far." She then asked Rahul to carry him to the water chair as it was known where the Eye agent was waiting the family would conduct the torture while he asked the questions . The interrogation began with the dripping , drip by drip on his forheard he felt the pain he refused to give up others he was in contact with in the movement. So they kept it going.Jannat said coldly "You know I think we may need something more." The interrogator nodded in approval . Jannat put the shock collar on him. She started at a low voltage and as the interrogator asked again and again "give us the names" and he continued to refuse with her and Neha upped and upped the voltage . The pain with the dripping and electric shocks was searing , finally he cracked and gave in , he wrote the names down 14 in all including near his own age just 13. Finally it was over he thought but alas no. He begged to be let go or for them to just shoot him but then Neha pushed him to walk with the cattle prod. If he resisted walking to the grave site or stopped for one second Neha shocked him him with the cattle prods full setting. It took 15 minutes to walk to the grave site. Rahul kicked him into the grave(reluctantly) he fell down his leg broke as he screamed out in pain Neha mocked him "Don't worry , soon you won't feel a thing " . She instructed Rahul to shovel the dirt into the relatively deep grave , shovel by shovel he was buried soon they didn't see his face at all but heard the panic and the heavy breathing . He panicked and panicked using up his air but finally he was too weak and it was over.

The next day his mother reported him missing. The family pretended to put out a plea for finding him . His body was exhumed by the Eye and took to the furnaces where it was fully disposed of. He would officially have gone missing with no confirmation of his death.

Time to go
It was 17th August as Rahul slept . He was half awake though truth be told his sleep hadn't been good since Anils death. That had destroyed him , he thought previously his family status would protect him but to have had to kill Anil to keep cover had broke him , not only did he feel immense guilt but hopelessness, what could he do resist publically , no that wouldn't work he'd only suffer a fate as bad or worse but despite the risk he kept in the household until that ping . The phone sounded out , he saw the name on the message Ayaan.

Ayaan was just 17 years old son of a rich family due to go to university next year, the family of one of the people running the camps. He had attempted to download the files while his father left the computer open but he was caught, of course his dad was furious , realising his life was over and anyone potentially compromised he did one last act sent to all contacts , the message translated from Hindi said "Got caught out by dad. Compromised. Escape. Get Out . I'm dead sorry." Rahul shed a tear he loved Svarna and its people just not government he had hoped to ride it out to 18 pick a foreign university and defect. He got his secret stash bag with 10,000 tamba enough to get the transport to the coast quick enough before family noticed properly and began the search, in it were simply some clothes canned food, dossiers and his favourite toy tiger and elephant. He put on his coat then out over the fence on to the road and out he went .

Off to the river he got and he managed to get to the motorised dinghy that he brought for the resistance cell. He waited for the 23 others 18 20-40 year olds and 5 others 12-16 including a 2 sons and daughter in the Tata family 13 and 16. The boat set off they would be at the coast by morning then it was out to sea and hope they the seas were calm and they could make it across. However today was not a good day. They realised the boat wouldn't make it unless it shed alot of weight too many people were there. There hadn't even been room for life jackets for all . The captain calculated the weight only 6 could make it. Rahul argued for it to be him but they refused saying he had better intel to give and chance to expose the regime. He sobbed as it came down to him or Jwala Tata one of his best friends. Jwala pleaded with Rahul to go , but he froze in fear and couldn't jump off he , begged Rahul to push him off. Rahul shut his eyes and pushed him off. He broke down but no he had t get himself together. He had 5 other lives to protect. The boat could continue but then it conked out . He prayed for death to come quick as he shivered and they huddled there was just the one bag with all the documents now , they'd either freeze to death in the Caspian , die of thirst due to lack of water, drown or be rescued by a ship . They prayed for a ship rescue.

Back in Naya Dilli
The Eye received the intelligence of the dad that Ayaan had been resistance. The Eye came to the house where Ayaan was chained and were handed the phone. They went to interrogate him. They started off the shocks low and raised and raised them demanding names and to tell them anything he knew. He spit on them and refused so they beat him and asked again then once again beat him and shocked him. He bravely held and refused still. However it was in vein as soon they discovered the names on the phone in 4 hours anyway with no need to keep him in their cells they just took him to the camp alive and threw him in the furnace. Why waste more time? They alerted the local Eye to the president and the president who immediately went up to the room of Rahul but it was too late for them he'd gone. So they sent the order if Rahul was found capture him , if they couldn't capture him kill him on site and put him in the landfill in a compostable bag, he'd officially be declared missing but they still hadn't found him. If in 24 hours they didn't they'd alert the border and immigration with a request for arrest.If agents abroad could get him they would be ordered to trick him and then poison him undetectable of course. They didn't intend to be kind.

24th October
It was over 6 hours and another of the teens died from the cold. Her body just lying there in the dinghy despite the best efforts of all to keep her warm.Rahul finally saw a boat , Duchies Coast Guard , thank goodness . The boat notices their light and rescued them, they were shocked to find 5 teenagers including a girl.

They took them off one by one to get them back to the Duchies. The coast guard put warm clothes on them and food and asked names but they were too in shock. The captain came and asked "Whats your name son and do you speak english?" . Rahul answered in a broken voice "Rahul Singh-Bhatavadekar," " , the captain was shocked mainly because of the state of him and said quizzically "As in son of Neha?" , Rahul nodded though he hated his mother .The captain was truly surprised, why would he be out here in a dinghy? Even if he was in trouble surely he could buy his way out. He asked "And the others why you out here ? Surely there was less risky ways " , Rahul responded broken "We had not choice we had to get out quick and government would have took and killed us all at checkpoints.We had to push 18 overboard to drown." He gave the list of names including one of the Tatas sons another surprise. Rahul broke down , the captain could see his distress and hugged him just quiet and said "Its okay, it's okay they can't hurt you where we are taking you" . Rahul replied "You don't understand they have people everywhere I'm a dead man walking its just when I die and how" The captain sighed "Look we'll get you to wherever you have to go okay, you'll get asylum either in Duchies or elsewhere I promise you." Rahul was doubtful that would save him but he didn't care anymore he just wanted to expose his family and the regime before they killed him. He had his plan to get to Inquista and hopefully use Telum to protect him. He would hand copies of the files over to Duchies intelligence and government and another over to Reitzmag , including the location of an extermination camp. They got to the Duchies he handed over the documents , interviewed him and the others , he told of what had happened to his cousin Anil and how he'd buried him alive to survive. The agents looked shocked , they knew things were bad in Svarna but this bad, and they had no reason to disbelieve him. They would bring this up with the PM for sure.

25th October
Finally after the interviews Rahul went to the Reitzmag embassy to apply for asylum. He told his story to them telling them everything that he told the Duchian authorities again and how he would be surely killed if he was in Svarna Surya and how he believed even United Duchies was dangerous with its big Svarnan communty. He hoped for Reitzmag to accept him.

The Reitzmag embassy was as shocked as the Duchian authorities when they saw the jaded , ragged Rahul at this point. The story shocked them as much as it had the Duchian authorities. It was no question he had right to asylum in Reitzmag. The applications were processed with him being promised an apartment , and help finding a school in Reitzmag within 3 days as the case was so obvious. He didn't know what to do on one hand he could campaign with all the risks that brought but ultimately he decided to try to keep a low profile. What he didn't know is even here The Eye, and The Ear were monitoring him. His every move monitored their plan simple to find his safehouse in Reitzmag and monitor it. Then one day Rahul would have a tragic death , if his body was found they'd just have a statement denying Svarnan involvement at the ready, if the plan to do it at home failed of course it would be ashame if he died a violent death in public from a random mugging.

17th December
It was 17th December. Rahul had settled into school well in the city of Hampton. He was leaking documents to media that was sympathetic and telling the stories of those in the camps anomynously. He would have loved to blow it open publicly but that was too risky. He didn't even go by the name Rahul on enrolment forms instead going by Devan Smit one of the many measures he used including making sure this was the official identity on any official forms. He had been careful but unfortunately not clever enough.

The Eye agents in Reitmzag had realised he had arrived there and they monitored his journeys from the Reitzmag embassy. It was tragically simple , they bumped into him on the street in Duchies and appologised then putting the tracker in the new bags he used for his equipment the back pack he used for school. They appologised of course but that was the rouse. Now they knew his location all the time wherever he went , the agents handling the case alerted the Eye agents in Reitzmag. They planned the trap ready to spring. They made a front of a supposed freedom fighting organisation for Svarnans supporting those opressed. They then befriended him over time , as he gave information and the agents gained some trust from him the trap was ready to spring. The friend from the group said "Got something for you to eat as school , baked this brownie for you" . Now he should have seen it as suspicious why would this Svarnan give him a brownie but he'd done his checks, he'd checked out. What would happen next was horrific.

17th December
Later in the day Rahul met with his friends Sebastian Adams,Ruben Wells and Ko Ji-Yun at lunch he was excited to share the brownie. They ate the dinner which today was burgers and chips and veg. Then he shared the brownie . The novichok affected them within 10 minutes. Rahul felt his muscles contracting , he slowly struggled to breathe but a teacher noticed and called the ambulance , as he was being rushed to hospital Sebastian , Ruben and Ko Ji-Yun also fell ill though Ruben died before they could even get him in an ambulance as he suffocate while others watched in horror able to do nothing and then got rushed to hospital. Soon after it was 5-10 more students all same symptoms something was wrong.The packaging had hindi labelling left on there accidentily. It was obvious an emergency was going on , it wasn't long before the whole school was evacuated. Soon they would find the brownies and this would blow up.Within one hour 3 were death and 19 were in hospital having to be stabilised on life support.

24th December
It was 01:30 in Joint Command HQ with John Peter Key, foreign minister Arron Scott and Defence Minister Bipin Rake who was also Svarnan the first generation of his family born in United Duchies in meetings with the heads of the Air Force and Navy and also Army and the defense ministers of Reitzmag and Yosai with plans to include ECON soon. They talked about the plan for the Svarna crisis. It was decided Christmas leave was cancelled and everyone would be on full alert.

Operation Tiger was made ready to be executed. At a moments notice once called upon fighters and attack planes would take out the airforce and key military bases and infrastructure in Svarna Surya with round the clock campaigns for up to 2 months. The Navy would leave with 60% of ships devoted to Caspian these would move to take out a blockade key ports and the navy, then they would guard a corridor to Duchies in the sea after securing a port with the marines and making sure to hold off the Svarnans. They would maybe seek to take most of the coast to stop resupplies but also to create a safe zone for refugees, they would run ferry routes with guarded civillian ships to get women , children and the frail out first but also men if they were with their families. There would be a safe route to Duchies for refugees where refugee processing would take place with refugees either getting a residency or being able to apply for refugee status in other countries in Europe. The operation would be big , they had hoped this December would be better but alas it was not , trouble had struck again. They would make sure the military would be ready for action as soon as it was required though sanctions and passing of them would be tried first, after all one couldn't just intervene first. The government got in contact with the pro-democracy groups, with a plan to supply weapons in order to help them fight the hopefully weakened Svarnan military.Of course if other nations decided to start before UD and Reitzmag they'd start up anyway backing up other foreign interventions in order to assist and to take ground to make safe evacuation routes quickly though they hpped other nations wouldn't do so and look at sanctions first.The nay launched its part of the plan with most of the nay crossing into the Caspian and airforce moving to the eastern bases ready for operations.
